this was really good! glad that this didn't follow the average kdrama formula where the leads end up together. injoo really pulled off a jo march and i am content with her ending. i'm glad inkyung would finally be able to study abroad and inhye is living her cottagecore lesbian dream with hyorin. the cast was a delight to watch on screen and i hope we get more dramas focused on sibling dynamics and female friendships.
idc what anyone says, i loved injoo's character... pretty realistic but also kinda awkward and naive.... yeah i love dumb main characters who are not good at anything and aren't talented but are just normal humans who find themselves trapped in horrible situations.
Although I have not watched Love in the Air and Don’s Say No because I do not enjoy unconsensual stuff, I have…
i totally get that… what i meant by my comment is that these people are used to two characters kissing in the first episode which is usually non consensual and they think that any bl which takes the characters time to get to know each other is boring and slow. ofc you can have things you don’t like about a show for example the eclipse could definitely have better ‘villains’ (in my opinion) but pacing is not an issue for me… akkaye’s development feels very organic and natural to me so yeah… i think i was misunderstood in this post… i’m not saying the eclipse is perfect. i’m just calling out fans who have an issue with the pacing.
y’all watch bls like the ones made by SA queen mame like love in the whatever and don’t say no (consent queen omg) then say the eclipse is ‘slow’. just cause this show isn’t about rape like the mame shows y’all be watching doesn’t mean it’s a bad bl.
also if you made fun of first’s swimming, i’d like to know how amazing you’re at both acting and swimming.
the reviews are just calling this bad and boring without actually explaining why or how... i guess people are just spewing hate cause this is a netflix original and the actors are kind of popular. i am gonna watch it and form my own opinion without letting the comments bother me because back in the day, people on mdl called squid game a 'flop' when it was first released so yeah....
to each their own but i think akk and ayan are very much attracted and intrigued by each other. i don't know if they'll last but i do know that they wanna talk to each other all night cause both have thoughts that are amusing and appealing to the other. also, they wanna fuck.
i think akk telling ayan to 'leave' isn't because of the curse at all. it is about the way ayan makes him feel out of control. it is ayan making him question his sexuality and that does not sit right with akk. he wants to be the model student, the one who's considered 'normal' by society's and especially by their school's standards. he wants to fit in and mix up with the crowd not stand apart from the crowd the way ayan does. ayan makes him want the things he thinks he shouldn't want. it's very easy to feel frustrated by akk but akk's intentions and motivations are justifiable if you see where he's coming from. ayan doesn't have to worry about money, scholarships and jobs the way akk does and that's why ayan can do whatever he wants but akk has to think twice before choosing what his heart wants. akk has to listen to the sound of reason more often than he chooses to listen to his heart because he just cannot afford to act the way ayan does. sure, ayan is 'right' in the grander scheme of things but ayan's experience and motivations do not invalidate akk's.
not a mame show having more watchers than this amazing show! do better you guys..... a show about SA should not have more viewers than a bl that actually speaks on social issues. this is why we keep getting horrible bls and shows like the eclipse and not me are ignored by the majority.
i feel like this show frustrated me more than entertaining me. the dates were…. activity based when they should’ve been based more on actually talking to each other and getting to know each other. we as audience got to know the contestants better than their so called dates. hyeokjoon and seonyul got the most dates when they were the most manipulative ones while changkyu and eunchan got the least dates when they were the ones who had the best personality plus they are good looking af so what am i missing here? i don’t understand these people at all… like changyu and eunchan are right there why would you go for hyeokjun ugh. at least changmin and jeonghyun were cute. the friendship between eunchan and jeonghyeon was also very cute and their friendship was the best thing about this show. hyeokjun and seonyul treated the contestants as prospects moving from one person to another with no sincerity. it’s honestly weird how no one caught on to their cunning strategy. jeongho was a let down. i thought he would end up with either changyu or eunchan but he ended up with the worst contestant on the show. honestly i really hope changyu and eunchan find someone great cause both of them are better than all the contestants on the show.
also if you made fun of first’s swimming, i’d like to know how amazing you’re at both acting and swimming.
