khao's facial expressions during the entire episode were just..... amazing. he has come so far from playing philosopher fong in 2gether to aye in the eclipse. i'm proud of him!
this show getting traction is the reason why we probably won't be getting any bls like itsay, not me, atots. just dumb, stupid, toxic shit that has no depth or meaning.
on a serious note, people hating on this show just because thua turned out to be the bad guy is so telling. ofc he is supposed to be the passive one, the innocent one, the one whose strings should be pulled by kan but nah the show shattered the perception y'all had of him and believe me i am not defending him... what he did was beyond shitty but i don't think it makes the show unwatchable. trust me, thua being the bad guy while not having the conventional bad boy looks and personality doesn't make an entire show bad! again, outing your friends and airing out their personal business is a horrible thing to do no matter how good your intent is and how much you've suffered in life. but tbh this entire show is about flawed people- akk is in the wrong in many ways, aye too made mistakes, kan, sani, namo, wat and chadok are all people implicit and in chadok's case complicit in the system which makes life intolerable for many others so how were y'all so shocked at thua being less than perfect. come on now!
i really love one thing about their relationship that i find missing in most of the bls i've watched and i've watched a lot of bls at this point. akk and aye's relationship is.... meaningful. like don't get me wrong there are other shows with an interesting plot and funny, goofy scenes or the bls which show the physical attraction aspect for the most part. akk is important in aye's life and vice versa. what makes akk and aye's relationship meaningful for me is the catharsis they both experience despite the chaos in their lives. maybe it is the acting or the writing but it feels so organic and natural. there's this silent understanding between them which leaves me stunned cause i watch shows which feel like shows aka they feel like they were produced inorganically for an audience so they could make money but the eclipse feels so real, it's fresh and it feels so good to watch it.
never noticed jeon yeobeen was such a good actor.... let's just say... vincenzo wasn't able to show anything other than a one dimensional character so i didn't pay much attention to her but dang she can act!
petition for yeobeen and nana to be leads (girlfriends) in every drama ever.
