it started off great but it hasn’t picked up its pace ever since. the romance bit happened too fast but the rest of the plot is not moving. i think in body switch bls especially two characters should fall in love slowly and steadily because you’re trying to show that their love for each other goes beyond physical attraction so i really don’t know wtf they’re doing with the main leads.

i feel like the one thing that's left to do now is build trust between the characters. obviously, vee and mark did not get together in the conventional way most couples do. without sugarcoating it, i have to admit that vee is a cheater so mark has every right to be suspicious of him and because mark continued to accept vee's advances knowing that vee was in a relationship, logically, it makes sense for vee to doubt mark as well. they have to really, really prove it to each other that what they did was out of love and something they just couldn't ignore because otherwise, their relationship will suffer through a lot in the future.

seo yeji was splendid. she's just so good at playing female manipulators. she made this drama very fun to watch. every time she walked in, every entrance she made was enthralling and full of confidence. it's quite literally impossible to focus on anyone else when SYJ is in the frame. the drama itself is a fun makjang where you don't have to take things seriously. i love revenge dramas and tbh this drama was a little lacking in the revenge department (i recommend my name if you want to watch a really good revenge drama) but it didn't lack in showing human emotions and how our connections with other people could either make or break us. love is good but only if practiced in moderation. for lee rael love is karma, for SEP love is patience, for HSR love is just another game to win and for KYG love is ultimate sacrifice. whether you approve or disapprove of their different ways of loving is up to you. at the end of the day, this show is about what love makes you do and not really about the process of doing those things. tbh the dilemma of hurting the man you love or betraying your parents by falling in love with the enemy that le rael faced was very interesting and actually made me like this drama so much more. i know a lot of people were disappointed by this exact plot point but lee rael isn't a revenge extracting machine, she's a human who embraced another human for the first time in her life and fell in love. to me it makes more sense than anything else in the show. still, some things could've been done better especially during the end. the outfit and makeup choices were...... questionable and did not exactly fit the cinematography and vibe of the show.

i think vegas should be the villain for season 2. instead of giving him a half assed redemption arc he should just continue being a villain but with higher stakes in the second season. ep 7 vegas was exquisite but things went downhill from that. vegas went from threatening italian mafia to crying every four seconds. you can’t have both things. vegas can’t be an innocent victim and a dangerous perpetrator at the same time. the former can’t be established at this point. the best option is to make vegas even more ruthless and calculative.

honestly, war deserves more main roles. he is so pretty and he can act so well. it's a shame he is not more popular considering how he is also a good musician and has a fun personality

the way these authors think they can exploit the actors just because they wrote a crappy novel.... it's just so disgusting. this is SA and it is happening in front of the cameras, i don't even want to know what might be happening behind the closed doors. some people forget that men can be victims of workplace SA too and this cast is always vocal about it. unfortunately, these things are either glossed over by the fandom or made fun of.
