I thought right from the start that Hyun-jae isn't Ji-hoon's father. A love triangle with a father and son pairing is icky in every way, and there's no way for the OTP to work if it is true. I wished that they didn't try to misdirect viewers in the first episode with JH's monologue though, and hinted at the possibility instead.
Anyway, I think that a 93-94 Hyun-jae didn't exist. Even if he did, HJ's not the father of JH. Firstly, the music notebook came into Young-jae's possession after HJ's disappearance. So all the Bo-hee references and the uncharacteristic ballad composition may be YJ's instead of HJ's. The major flaw in this theory is that HJ should be able to recognise his own handwriting. Confirmation will be if YJ's safe code is also 22198. That'll mean that YJ and BH were the ones in a secret relationship instead. BH's guilt may stem from the fact that she and YJ both had a hand in (just a guess) stealing the money or staging his "death" in 94.

Yep. Got the name wrong. But there were a couple of hints that Woo-seung likes Hyun-jae, like how she linked her arm with his when he came to fetch her with the umbrella, how she was hugging the plush toy he won for her when Ji-hoon went up to talk to her, how she was touched by his little actions (the smiles), how they shared one drink, how she took care of him when he fell sick, and I also think that the heartbeat at the end belongs to them both. I mean, I will be extremely surprised if they don't end up being our OTP.

Beautiful Mind was in the prime time slot. The Best Hit isn't. There's no reference for what is a decent rating for this time slot so there's really no need to worry about the show being cut.

There's only realistically only 4 popular post 85-er actresses you want leading a female centric drama in China right now, not including the ones who have gone into film and will almost certainly not return to the small screen like Liu Yifei: Yang Mi, Liu Shi Shi, Zhao Liying and *cough cough* Angelababy (hey, investors like her). You can put Tang Yan into the picture too but she's an 83-er. Guess what? ZLY is the best actress out of them all. I get that she's tiny, but imo she's alright for the role.
