The reusing of actors was a bad call especially that they were not past or future incarnations of the characters they played. For anyone who watched the prev novoland series, it will be really awkward. I didn't so it was ok, but I'm still bothered by it.
Well, I cried buckets. I just have this weakness of angst involving killing the person you loved most.
While I was ecstatic and on cloud nine by the fluff, I am also overly anxious about Du shik. My curiosity is killing me. And I also feel a little sorry for Hye Jin because she was ALL IN in the relationship, while without a doubt Dushik loves her as much as she does, he still has that trauma paralyzing him sometimes, as shown at what happened in their trip. After meeting an acquaintance from his "past life", his mood plummeted and it affected the way he treated Hye Jin, causing Hye Jin to misunderstand him. If Hye Jin was not direct in the relationship, the misunderstanding might have deepened and caused a rift in their relationship.
So I do think that it is a little unfair to Hye Jin. 4 more episodes to go. Maybe this trauma will be addressed in the next two episodes. And I do hope that it will be written well.
This drama isn't bad at all. It was just too long. You may be able to get bored halfway through as there really isn't any drive to the story that makes you yearn for the next episode. I only got through this show for the ML. He is a wonder to watch. I am currently watching Jun Jiu Ling. It is currently airing with 40 episodes. I'm on my 30th mark, and I have to say, it was one of the better period dramas I have watched this year. You may give that one a try.
It wasn't too bad. But I have to agree with the common sentiment that it was unnecessary long. Useless plots were added that did not help the show in any way. Anyway, I fell in love with Jun Feng's Sheng Jing Chu. It was the only reason I made it to the end. If only all men are like him (sigh). And his voice was just too freakin' sexxxxy!
I've got butterflies in my stomach finally seeing them admit their feelings for each other. But there's this nagging feeling that's slowly creeping out of the shadows about Dooshik's trauma. Did he lose a wife and a child from those unaccounted 5 years? Will someone enlighten me on this? Was he the one in that family photo?
