at least i can skip as much as i want or cover one eye while bawling then continue until hopefully i get a happy ending (cross fingers) with kids and stuff ðŸ˜
im so afraid to start this because of the angst between wsg and wwy. from the clips ive watched it’s tragic. i want them to be happy, but who am i to forgive wwy for what she has done? and who am i to blame wsg if he ends walking away?
FX does not deserve forgiveness, yet he is so despicably pitiful. YSL deserve a better love, yet he was thrown into hell by the person he thought was the one who could give him that -- and in the end, they both went into self-destructive mode. YSL i think did not heal, i mean who would? he went back to FX not only because he still loves him, but because i think he believes he won't be able to be with someone else with all the scars FX gave him. their story was such a heartbreaking tragedy, yet i still want a happy ending for them both (not necessarily with eo but i cannot even convince myself that if i was YSL, i would be able to love another person ever again). i only hope they will eventually heal eo with time.
so much killing but man, both our leads has such to-die-for visuals. their close ups together even when they're trying to outsmart eo is butterfly-in-stomach inducing
i love love this series mainly because of the leads. they designed the fl's character right. she is far from perfect -- but her growth is admirable. at the lowest point of her life, she doubted herself and her choices, but she had the courage to pick herself up. yes, she was given a shortcut, but she used it fully to realize what she wants most in life. the ml was initially the knight in shining armor, and he continued to be that person all throughout the series.
what I appreciated most is their relationship. the fl has always been someone who bares her heart open. and when she fell in love, she showed all her cards. between the two of them, she’s the more open and direct one when it comes to pursuing love. their love is pure, patient, mature, and unyielding.
as for the actors—Chen Xing Xu can be a bit inconsistent at times, but here he was solid. I never felt disconnected from his portrayal of Xiao Zhi Yu or the shrewd Qin Xiao Yi in the virtual world. Lu Yu Xiao, on the other hand, is someone I’ve always liked. She has a very natural screen presence and great chemistry with her co-stars, and this was no exception. Her Hu Xiu was fantastic, and it definitely helped that the character itself was so well written.
i must say, fan zhi xin is truly a work of art. everything about him is fantastic. his looks, his screen aura, his charisma and his ability to command every scene, his acting skills, he's just a complete package. i wonder why he always gets these trashy stories to act in. given everything that i narrated, why was he not given the opportunity to act in a better script yet? such a wasted potential tsk tsk tsk
I wait so long to see Liu Yuning modern drama and it release now and all role are fine including legendary as…
pls dnt go around saying stuff life people dnt deserve laoda cos that’s exactly the kind of comment he detests so much. and just so we’re clear, ziwen is gorgeous
This girl was the fl in embrace in the dark night. dangggg she is awesome in the chemistry department! Watching this for the fun and the giddinesssss, yea im that shallow hohohohoho
It seemed like a million years ago when I first watched this. I always forget that Perth is practically still a baby here. At 17, his acting is so natural. He's one of the few great actors in BLand and I thank Thailand for producing such an amazing actor.
I mean wow! GMMTV put together few of their actors who can actually act and it was such a fine experience to see these talented actors bring their A game but the script was too limited for each character to be explored. How I wished a spinoff was created to show the growth of Heart and Liming. And the two heartbroken souls to find solace and healing with each other for Alan and Kaipa. I'd say such a wasted potential.
The first few minutes of any show or movie, especially in the thriller genre is the most crucial. It will either capture the viewers' attention and intrigue them or just feel mehhhh. I felt that they could have done better. I felt that the interrogation part was a far better opening. It has direction, suspense, and grip. The flashbacks when the suspects were recounting the party would have been enough to let the viewers in on what was going on. But what do I know... I hope there won't be too great of a letdown because I'm loving the tension here.
One moment they're talking about serious life issues and out of the nowhere Thee spouts something ridiculously nonsense with a straight face!!! Like c'mon bro! I'm tryna reflect on my own life right now and you ruined it by making me ijbol so hard !!! 😂😂😂 I can't..the nth time he says something serious yet unserious, I'm so done with him! Really! I have the same face reaction as Peach --- INCREDULOUS
