Writer messed his character completely. FL was already very annoying and now she got the 'princess syndrome'.
That princess syndrome is really annoying. I was impressed how she handled the whole thing with Tang Yu at the beginning. I even praised her decisiveness. Then her character turned 360 degrees as much as Tang Yu did. I'm like, what is going onnnnnn with these two?! From very level-headed and smart characters to annoying ones. Ughhhhh I'm crying injustice with how they turned out.
I was so excited about Tang Yu's character development, yet I was immensely disappointed. He went completely out of character. From a cool-headed guy to a stalker. Ugh, this push and pull is not my thing. Such a great start..shame it turned out like this...
OMG this show truly is hilarious at the right moments! That maple leaf took the win!😭 And I really appreciate LYN's NYZ, he is the character. And his line delivery is soooo good!
3 minutes and 30 seconds at Ep 1, I thought, huh? This is extremely familiar. This is definitely MoBao Fei Bao's Really, Really Miss You. And so I went straight here and huh, it really is.
Liu Shi Shi's Ren Ru Yi captivated me the way Nini's Ye Liu Xi did. I love a woman who can think for herself and knows what she wants.
The first 6 episodes are a joy to watch. There wasn't anything intense and not heavy on court politics on the surface.
He Lan Dou is a wonderful surprise. Her acting was beautiful.
Liu Yu Ning's Ning Yuan Zhou...I like his personality. Cunning, ruthless, yet softhearted to the people close to him. In a way, he is very similar to Ruyi. Acting-wise, he can still improve, but honestly, he's doing a great job.
Woooooow!!!!The first 6 episodes are so worth losing my sleep on! Production-wise, it was not the best, but...everything else is way better than most romance dramas with huge budgets that came out recently *side looking at you OfL*.
Every character (especially both our leads) has a personality. The dialogue made sense, the relationships between the characters are well thought out, and the pacing is just right. The chemistry between the leads, a gorgeous FL, and a not-so-bad ML are a bonus.
I loved Tang Xin especially. She dared to love, and she dared to hate. She's brave to pursue her dreams. She's not a doormat. An independent woman who knows how to value herself. Applaud!
Tang Yu..sigh...I suspect he also liked Tang Xin a long time ago. It's just that he cannot accept the reason she gave for liking him. He's wired like that. He couldn't let go of her because of personal entanglements, so I am really excited about how his character will develop from here.
I also commend the acting. Both leads and the supporting characters did so well. I have to check out more of Huang Ri Ying's works. She's amazing I tell you.
Love the last fight at the palace. This couple is a deadly combination. I loved that they did not spare the traitorous prime minister. Overall, it was a good watch. The conversations and monologues are with substance and not just fillers. Acting is exceptional from Xu Kai.
Love the start. There are so many possible ending scenarios in my head already. But most importantly, I can't keep gushing about how beautiful Song Kang is in this drama!!!
