I haven't seen Cecilia in like--forever! It's so amazing to see these incredible actresses (including Tao jie) work alongside Yuning. Hope he will learn a lot from them.

Most villains, regardless if it's from dramaland or in real life are not always pure evil. How do you define pure evil? A psychopath who kills just because he gets off of it? But even most psychopaths have difficult childhood that they use as an excuse to commit evil acts. Since the beginning of time, I mean historically, most people who commit evil acts were not always bad people from the beginning. So that is why I labeled Beomseok as typical. I don't understand his character? What is there to understand? He's just pathetic. He was bullied. He is being physically and mentally assaulted by a family member. And yes, that is horrible, but he devised a plan to hurt someone again and again just because he thought that someone looks down on him? What kind of layered character is this? Do you think he was forced into a corner and never had a choice so he had to hurt someone to get out of a difficult situation? That's just bull. Soo Ho was one of the 2 people who treated him as a friend. And in return for the kindness he was shown, he returned it with ingratitude. That makes him an unforgivable character.
I loved it. What a heartwarming story of unconditional love. Steven is one of the best I've seen in romance. He does not appear greasy in intimate scenes, but rather sweet, passionate and so in love. I'd watch him in any romance show in a heartbeat.
I loved every moment. I cried as much as I laughed. My favorite is Yi Yong and Guang Yan combo. In a parallel BL world, they make such a beautiful pair. I'm in need of Season 2 desperately!
This drama filled me with rage. I refuse to understand nor forgive Beom Seok. He's the typical pathetic villain who uses his sobby traumatic situation to hurt others. Like f u!
But besides that, I'm very interested in Shi Eun's character. He's the most complex character I've encountered so far. He's very unpredictable and I just could not guess what's on his mind. The actor did well. Especially his eyes. His eyes took the majority of the acting.
This is a hidden gem. The casting director did right in this series. I loved the mature conversations. The simple gestures of kindness made me tear up. Just that... I would have liked to have more glimpses of what they have accomplished after 10 years. I am very curious about what they wrote to their future selves. Or maybe they could do another season on the current timeline. And some romance please.

The parting between Xiangyi and A'mian left me confused about what to feel. Unfortunately, they were not part of the lucky 20% to have survived first loves. I somewhat sense that Xiangyi still cares a lot about A'mian, but does he still loves her? And A'mian, did she really fall in love with Zijin?
But as it stands now, I'm still leaning toward Xiangyi and A'mian not ending up together. A'mian is already married, which means she had the resolve to move on forward.
I'm just a little sad for Xiangyi, is he gonna end up all alone?
Plot aside, that scene of A'mian was a little cringy. Unfortunately, the actress did not deliver a believable performance.

I thought Cheng Yi's dubber will grow on me as the show progresses, but man, I increasingly disliked it more and it got super annoying. I know that he's dying and pretty much gave up on living but the way I hear his voice is just plain laziness.
Did WCR dub her own voice? Ugh! It was so difficult to watch the confrontation scene between XQ and her parents. The emotional high I was expecting was ruined just like that!!!!
