GJ suited this role so well, as much as he suited the epic portrayal of Wen Ke Xing. I didn't like him in LoAL at all so I'm glad I got to see him in his element again. EZ is surprisingly good. And she's gorgeous to boot. Can't wait to see fireworks between them.

There was a time when I replayed the stabbing part endless times while my snot was pouring out and my heart hurt so badly. At the time I felt so sorry for Xufeng. All he did was love Jinmi. And I hated Jinmi for the choices she made. It made her look stupid. Her realization was too late, and the price she had to pay for her mistake was something she could barely afford. It's been 5 years. I still miss Xufeng, my forever phoenix immortal.

Ahuh, checked out the director, I saw a couple of his works, Painted Skin and Wuliang and I enjoyed both. And Yin Yang master was one of the better ones I watched. Based on his prev works, I have high expectations.
Damn!!!! I dove straight without any expectation because the synopsis didn't give away much but damn, every moment got me hooooked! Every character seems to be hiding something. I love the complexity of everyone, got my curiosity on high alert all the time. Is there any source material or is this original? I need major spoilers pretty pleaseeeeee!
