Dilin's screentime so few I'm complaining! But that aside, I had a good laugh whenever they're acting. The charades mini game they did on the street was fu***ng hilarious!😂😂😂

I think we're watching a completely different drama. I don't see the importance of Yura in this story at all. Without her, the main cp's relationship will go on as planned or whatever they wanted it to turn out to. Grandpa was indeed more amenable to ML marrying Yura, but it's not to a point that he has to force ML (this was made clear from their previous conversation). Yura's actions were not fueled by any logic nor reason, she is simply psychopathic. Her drive to destroy the main cp and her methods were beyond madness. This was not how I envisioned this show to turn out. I was disappointed and that's just me. If you feel you're fine with it, then enjoy.

I don't see the point of her appearing just for the sake of old gramps giving approval to the relationship. Him giving approval does no sh*t. The plot is about the FL redoing her life, getting rid of the demons in her life and having to live past her expiration date.

The ex shenanigan ruined the viewing experience for me with her cringy and unwatchable acting. Her appearance did nothing but only added the worst drama. This just turned makjang ladies and gentlemen!

Damn! How can I date when I saw Yiyang's gazes towards Guo? The standard went sky high again!

I was a little put off during the action scenes at the start of Ep 1. It looked bizarre considering the plot (at least that's what I initially thought). But as it progressed and the FL got to live the lowest of her life, I kinda get it. I think it's pretty good so far. Will continue to watch it.

Wow! My girl is still amazing! She hits all the emotional highs in this episode. Her chemistry with our boi is soooo sooooo good! Two individuals, each with their own pain and burden doesn't make them depressing to watch, but heart fluttering and feel good and most importantly, healing. They just click together.

I didn't know they have the same screenwriter and director. But I did watch TSoML, albeit a bit late to the hype train. I kept delaying because I was skeptical at first (with the long episodes and the otp). Oh man, when I finally finished the last scene, I was pulling my hair and berating myself why I didn't watch it sooner. Seriously one of the best family drama ever. The acting was phenomenal, the chemistry was explosive and the storytelling was just wow.

I watch in kisskh but the subs are not perfect, but still understandable (not as bad as 🥭 subs 😀) AI generated I guess.

I was laughing so hard after the ML removed his helmet, his hair is immaculate, straight from the salon lolololol

I have to say, Yang Zi looks so pretty here. I think this is the best look I've seen her in. IMO that is.

After more than 3 years, I managed the courage to binge rewatch this show. As I thought, it has the same effect. I still had the same love-hate relationship with this family, yet they were the reason for all the sobbing and bawling I did. At times, they were insufferable, yet that's what made this show moving because this family is very human. They felt like real people who lived in that chaotic era..and every pain they felt of losing their loved ones one by one, I felt every bit of it too. As expected, Junshan's retribution was still the most tragic part of this show for me. For every corrupt deed he had done, he offset it by protecting the lives beyond the frontline. He does not deserve to lose the very most important people in his life. It was so bitter in my mouth I couldn't swallow nor spit when he called it his retribution.

Anyway, my heart is still heavy and I think I need to detox myself with some extra sweet romance. Any good recommendation?

Yun ge never disappoints. His acting is always always a standout.

I am only less than 10 minutes into ep 1 but man, I am already amazed by the CGI, it is amazing! It looks expensive af! Will wait until the halfway mark before I start.

NYZ and RRY going strong each episode. LYN really stole my heart as NYZ.

I love Aying's growth as a person. Her conversation with YL is gold.

Meanwhile, that boiling disappointment gaze from NYZ to LTG is piercing... All I could do was SMH SMH SMH LTG grow up.

I caught up @ ep 24 omgggggggg I'm always squealing whenever NYZ and RRY are together plus the chaotic squad. I have never loved a character in so long..NYZ is someone the world desperately needs. LYN embodied NYZ to perfection!
