lol the main thing I am struggling with in The Trainee is how annoying the main lead is, so I fully disagree about the acting. But opinions are subjective, so your opinion is of course equally as valid as mine.

And you are completely entitled to your opinion. Given the number of views and the general conversation around these two series though, most of the average viewers would disagree.

What an immature comment. This show has some of the most whiny fans. Whenever I see fans being extra sensitive, it’s clear the show’s not doing well. For hit shows, no one cares if some people don’t like them.

Gem4th deserve better.

Their song is super cute though and this is still the better gmmtv bl airing right now, but it could have been so good. Seems like a cash grab.

But at least it’s not as annoying and lacklustre as The Trainee

Aaaaaahhh, I loved this so much!!

The show is kind of wonky at places, but I love the main couple!! I do wish we had more couple time than other characters in the last episode. It’s great that this bl had an actual storyline though.

Love that we have started getting uncensored danmei, hopefully longer shows will follow with more budget and more romance.

The acting is superb. The characterization is very well etched out.

Great show, though the “evil” girl character is overdone.

This show continues to be bland. I started it because the cinematography/production values are good and it seemed to have higher aspirations than a basic bl romance with no build up.

But the main problem for me is the main character is not compelling at all. Acting/writing, none of the aspects of Ryan’s character is working for me.

The other subplots are also kinda scattered, the storyline is not very tight.

Right? And the first kiss was fine too. I dunno what happened with the rest.

Phuwin did well in some scenes, like the first kiss and the bed scene. And he was fine in NLMG. I wonder if it’s a director issue for the rest?

PhumPeem are the favorite by far. They are played by the biggest stars and their scenes had the most engagement by a mile.

PhumPeem (great chemistry, I got butterflies at most of their scenes)

TanFang (cute with some great scenes, but the acting/storyline was too one-note and over the top at times)

ChainPun( cute but too little screen time)

QToey ( I don’t get romantic chemistry from this couple, they are funny as friends though)

So tonally off and all over the place. Thai BLs almost always have such weak scripts 🫤

Thank you for saying this. Every show has some extra sensitive stans, but this show seems to have too many of them. Any comment expressing dissatisfied opinion, and stans are jumping on them. This show is obviously not doing well organically, hence fans being so sensitive.
I expressed my disappointment about MLMU too, but no one attacked me like they did for this show. Immature fans don’t realize not everyone is going to like what they like.

Watched for pondphuwin and was not disappointed at all. It’s so fluffy and a total comfort watch. They always had great chemistry, but their overall acting, voice modulation, expressions etc have improved a lot. The few limitations in PhumPeem I will attribute more to the director than the actors. I think their body language shows they have a high level of comfort with each other, the director didn’t direct them properly in certain instances.

I can’t see QToey as a romantic couple, their chemistry falls flat for me. But they have funny moments and are good as friends.

TanFang are cute and have chemistry, but are too extra at times. I like Aou as an actor (his character in BMF was great) but he’s just too one note here. Not his fault, it’s the script and director. But overall, I don’t like relationships
which seem too one sided. I would have enjoyed them more if the script was better.

ChainPun are cute. Poon is a great actor.

Whenever stans get so butthurt, it’s so obvious how the show is mid and not doing great. When a show is a genuine hit, no one cares about the few dissenting comments 😂
