Holy shit, how is this show so good! This episode was amazing, the script, acting, directing, everything! I’m genuinely impressed.

Forcebook had a better, more romantic love story in 10 minutes than they did in three full-fledged series lol. It touched me, ngl.

lol, right?! The relationship between the two men is the single most important plot point besides the ghost stories every week. And the ghost stories actually mirror their relationship progression.

Because it came out ages ago when there were very few options. People who watched it then have nostalgia but it’s extremely dated now. Very few new viewers will like it.

This series drags soooooooo much! It definitely hasn’t aged well. The romance doesn’t feel real or touching.

Can they really though 😂 none of their bl shows are top tier, yes not even Not Me, which had loads of script issues and DanYok had most of the hype in that show anyway.

Offgun don’t seem to choose good scripts for their BLs.

Except that Off is much better than Gun in both CC and TT. Gun has the weakest performance among the entire cast in both those series. His fans need to stop pointing to his old work and calling him a great actor when he is phoning it in throughout the last few shows. Aside from BL, he wasn’t even that great in non BL like MM, Tor was so much better.

The product placements are pretty unobtrusive though. The show never focuses exclusively on the items or have dialogue about them, they’re just there as props. Product placements fund a lot of these shows, so unless it is spoiling the narrative, it’s shouldn’t be such a big deal.

I mean, New and especially Tay were pretty good in DBK and Cherry Magic too. I think they are good actors in general and choose pretty good scripts (unlike some of their peers I might add).

This is such an entertaining show and I’m loving it so much! Sheng looks a little too old sometimes, it took me out of the show a couple of times. But the chemistry is great !

I hope the season 2 thing materialises, still have trauma from Stay with me (best among all the “stepbrother” trope shows for sure. Come back to me!!)

Firstly, you need to control your emotions and think logically. You keep getting angry and attacking me personally, when I have never once infringed on your’s or others’ rights to their own opinions.

Secondly, of course I am going to refer to trends and views to analyse a show’s general reception, because those are just objective facts. I am not going to imagine a scenario in my mind and try to twist facts to fit my desired narrative, the way you keep on trying to do. Since I am in the bl fandom, posts on the views, reception and reviews of most bl series show up on my TL. I’m not sure why you think it’s such a Herculean task to know facts about bl series, for me it’s really just scrolling along my TL 🤷🏽‍♀️
If not number of views or audience posts/comments I see myself, how would I gauge the general opinion on a show? Through divine intervention? In your self centered world view, I suppose you think the reception of a series is what you think personally about it, but I don’t disregard others’ opinion like you do.

Finally, your lack of reading comprehension is more severe than I thought. When did I say I personally rank a show based on its number of views? What sense does that make?

I mean, you can say whatever you want, it does not impact my life. However much you wish otherwise , I am quite happy being me, because I am not a blind stan 😂

I am making an informed guess based on the posts people have been making here and on other platforms like Twitter. I see a lot of disappointed discourse and desperate spamming to keep trending from offgun fans. The views of this show is one of the lowest among all gmmtv BLs, so it’s not at all stretch to say that most of the people who are still watching are offgun fans who will rate this show high just because of their bias. If you want to disagree, go ahead, but my reasoning is based on logic.

I didn’t watch the last couple of episodes but those who did were mostly disappointed. Hence my very first comment “looks like I am not missing much”. You are really unable to refute any of my points with logic, no wonder you have to keep resorting to personal attacks. Sad for you 🫤

The acting is still great but this show fell off in the last couple of episodes 🫤

Will these guys ever get a good show?

I am not deluding myself or anybody else, which is why I clearly said I haven’t watched the last couple of episodes. I have based my opinion on what I did see and I found the script to be of sub par quality. Therefore I am expressing my negative opinion, which I have full right to do so. Where is the hypocrisy here? Pinpoint it exactly.

You are continually attacking me for my personal opinion and showcasing your immaturity in the process. Keep going if you want but it’s not going to suddenly make this show a success.

Oh, and I did not deem the other user’s opinion as “insignificant” to shade them, I stated that statistically, a sample size of one observation cannot be used to establish significance. Another lesson for you, that’s how statistics work.

If you actually bothered to read my comments you would see exactly why I didn’t like the show. The acting/writing of the main character is weak and the show is all over the place. But like all thin skinned immature stans, your sole purpose is to attack anyone who doesn’t agree with your opinion. I can be in any space I want to be, and I guess you lack reading comprehension because I fail to see where I said other people can’t have their own opinions?
