it's just so unrealistic, that many men fighting over one woman? Come on now
Only three of them are in love with her from what I understand, not the rest. Likely Win, Nanon and either Fourth or Perth.’s characters. The rest are not fighting over her.
People hating on this series but why... Don't have good taste?? Or running over nc scenes?? This series is really…
Everyone who disliked it is because there are no NC scenes? That’s a very immature way of trying to cope.
I disliked the show because the plotlines were not well executed, the pacing dragged, Gun’s acting was bad and him being one of the main characters made the viewing experience worse.
The story isn't great, but who cares? We have great chemistry between Kant and Bison (First and Khao never let…
lol of course people will care about a bad story, why is that even a question? Media critique is an everyday thing. Especially if it’s something that people anticipate and then it’s disappointing, it’s very natural to comment upon that.
I know that Bison and Kant are meant to be the "primary couple" in this series, but Fadel and Style are far more…
?? They are both meant to be main couples, but Fadel/Style clearly have the better storyline and character progression. The original source material also has F/S as the main couple. I am surprised anyone could think they are the secondary couple lol
A bromance that was better than all of GMMTV's BLs from last year.
Gmmtv has been struggling with bls through 2024, with only We Are being an unambiguous hit. Even in 2025, only Thame Po is actually good. The rest are all mediocre to bad.
This show and HSF were the clear standouts from 2024, in terms of male lead shows.
People are going to mention their opinions on a forum which is meant for that exact purpose. Just because you…
Why would I be worried about your likes? Like every viewer, I am only concerned with my personal opinion. No, everyone will not temper their words by what you find to be mean, they will express what they think for themselves
Apart from directing and writing, people can really not think analytically and just watch over the surface. I…
People are going to mention their opinions on a forum which is meant for that exact purpose. Just because you like something doesn’t mean that everyone is going to and they are going to express those opinions. They are not just going to “move away to other shows” for your enjoyment since this is not your private space.
A very simple concept yet so many fans seem to struggle with it.
Tough ceo? No, Ming is supposed to be a hot brat. Since he’s very young in the beginning (20-21) while Joe is…
The fact that the rating is relatively high is driven by the popularity of the source material and due to people liking Joe’s character and actor a lot. Poom is the breakout here, Chinese fans especially rate him very highly. There is plenty of disappointment about the casting and the interpretation of Ming’s character, a lot of it present in this very comment section you mentioned and on other Internet spaces.
This series had the potential to be a true breakout hit phenomenon, instead of the middling hit it currently is. And that can be attributed to a lot of the nuances of the original story being lost due to Ming’s casting and acting.
I’m sorry, but would there be no certain aesthetics and american culture reference, no way I would’ve guessed…
I don’t have time to respond in detail but just wanted to chime in to say I agree with so much of this comment. The show is so so haphazard, it’s just a bunch of things put together without any cohesiveness or care.
Regarding success, it’s the actors’ core fanbase hyping it up right now, but those outside that bubble can see the actual quality. It’s like MLMU, once it ends, everyone will agree it’s bad except some hardcore fans.

Well, most people do expect maturity levels to rise with age. Supremely selfish and rude behavior from someone the age as show!Ming is not endearing to an average person. Brattiness complemented by immense hotness is also an important factor, which is not present here.
All the casting complaints about Up completely baffle me, but I think it's because for me, he gives serious G-Dragon…
Tough ceo? No, Ming is supposed to be a hot brat.
Since he’s very young in the beginning (20-21) while Joe is 33, that’s why his immaturity is somewhat explainable and it’s not as unbearable as when show!Ming does it.
I see a lot of people are wishing it was someone other than Up. Who do y'all have in mind that would have been…
Ming’s character in the novel is supposed to be show stopping handsome, super tall (188 cm) and young (20-21) at the start.
Looks and age wise, Dew works but I dunno if he has the acting chops to carry the role. Tor thanapob has the looks and the acting capability, but he’s not the right age. Still, I think he would’ve been the best choice among Thai actors I know of.

Gmmtv needs better scripts, every other aspect is mostly good but the writing lets them down too many times.
