If you don’t connect each episodes then yes not winning the award may seem silly. But prior episodes showed…
Yeah, he absolutely does feel insecure about losing his top dog position. But showing the peak of his insecurity over the “sexiest man” award loss specifically instead of the supporting actor award loss in the manga, it’s just more superficial.
For me, narratively I’m not fond of the way they dragged it out so much. The pace dropped and it felt like a boring filler episode. Advancing some more plot points would’ve made this episode more interesting. Like maybe introduce Johnny already and show his first meeting with Akin, thus setting up the next plotline.
This episode was boring, esp after the amazingness of the last episode lol. Akin caring this much about the sexiest man award is not convincing, in the manga he cared about losing an acting award.
They should just stick to the manga scenes, the extra padding they’re adding is not very interesting anyway.
More of a coming of age indie movie rather than a romance. Gets kinda repetitive, esp in the beginning, but the 2nd half is significantly better. I fast forwarded a lot. Overall opinion: worth a watch, some sequences are really good, but also boring in parts.
Acting is very naturalistic. Fou4mod and Bua were honestly two sides of the same coin. Dramatic, clingy yet stand offish, annoying but ultimately cute lol. Baabin was just cute. Chian was frustrating in the beginning but did come through by the end. He clearly already liked Fou4mod by episode 3 and then was ready to go steady by episode 4, just scared. Episode 6 ending was the best lmao.
i disagree. I think they have chemistry. Ch dude and Summer is who I am talking about. I think their story has…
Omg give it a rest! You are all over this page spewing this nonsense. Het couples are needed for diversity now? Why don’t you go watch the 46 million other media which exists? 100% gay world? wtf does that even mean? Are you a bot with the same few programmed phrases?
Heesu is annoying but also cute. I like a slow burn and the bl story is moving at a perfectly fine pace. I don’t get people wanting the story to move at a break neck pace, yet they also complain when the couple get together too soon and the “spark” is gone. A well told development takes time and angst followed by fluff is super satisfying.
The het side story in this episode is boring af, really don’t care about those two. And it’s not just because it’s a het couple in a bl, the couple in Keita Hatusuki for example were adorable and fun.
And even this one isn’t great, fans rate it highly because of the darker and more serious subject matter, but…
Stans really dumb as hell, stalking months old comments over somebody’s personal opinion 😂 Who is this mysterious “we” you speak of? You’re the only one with enough time to stalk random internet strangers 😂
It might blow your tiny little brain, but this forum is for people to write their opinions about various series and I simply wrote my personal opinion. That’s my “issue”, using this forum for the purpose it was meant for.
Who do we have to pay for a season 2?? Like, I don’t care if it takes years, the actors getting older that works better for the characters, but please come back!!!
Love it, the high rating totally makes sense here unlike some other highly rated bls recommended on this page itself lol
The actors fit the characters very well, the pace doesn’t drag, the production values are good. I hope it continues at the same level of quality! I need a good thai bl after Thame po.
TBH it’s not as good as I thought it would be. I’m on episode 7 mind you but so far it’s dragging and seems…
Just ff through the business portions, those bits are boring and not well written at all. Thame and Po are adorable though, the show is great when they are together. Mars is cute too, in the whole.
You know that series you watch because everyone loves it and then you can't figure out why because it flows like…
Ya, the script isn’t strong. But the leads are adorable. When Thame and Po are actually together, it’s great. The cinematography and production values are good too.
You would probably benefit from fast forwarding through the business bits, it’s not adding anything to the story.

The thing is, the het couple is not even interesting! No spark, nothing.

Why are all step bro adaptations cursed at this point lol
