In general, the sexiest man voting thing they depicted in this drama was pretty ridiculous. My memory is hazy but I don’t recall Akin giving so much importance to that title in the manga.

Really good series overall and acting/chemistry was great, esp from Boom. They toned down some bits, but I guess that’s to be expected from a live action adaptation. The last two episodes dragged though.

I know they want to do two more seasons but I would actually prefer a whole new manga adaptation with this cast. Second seasons of bl shows are usually not that great, compared to the first.

Re your last point: Cherry Magic was superb and hugely successful, so Top Form is not really the first Japanese manga bl adaptation to get attention. But yes, I certainly hope Thai bl continues to adapt more Japanese mangas and Chinese danmei.

Super adorable, the direction, editing and production values are top notch. Acting is mostly competent, though there’s room for growth in some cases, but they are ALL very cute.

Now, for the negatives, the reason why this show is not blowing up yet like My School President, is the insta love and the lack of plot. Yes, the storyline is cute so far, but having some plot meat to sink your teeth into would help a lot. Plus, there’s like no build up in the love stories yet, both fell too fast. The teachers are the only ones who are building up.

Also, ChokunAston and PoddPappang need more screen time. CA has huge potential to be the next big thing, but their screen time is very limited, which is not helping them or the show overall.

Exactly my feelings. Esp when you compare this with My School President, in which the lead was teenaged too, but clearly more skilled.

But hey, they are all cute till now, so we will see how it goes.

lol, Pond was amazing in We Are, he nailed the romance, yearning and softness perfectly. Your opinion that he needs to give up his ship is indeed extremely unpopular and shared by a vanishing minority. Also, a ship does not need to end for actors to get other work.

Gun has done very poorly in his last couple of bls, he is the weak link in both Cooking Crush and The Trainee. Just because he is a child actor and has experience does not automatically translate to him being a universally good actor. He is the one who should probably give up on bl and focus on his acting, because he seems to be regressing. His older work was better than his recent output.

Omg this episode was so good! KitShane were so much cuter in this episode! Luke is a competent actor, Mick needs to work on his expressions more but he’s not hopeless unlike certain other actors lol. KimMon are the cutest, I do need more screen time for them. The teachers’ story is so cute too, their little scene at the end had me grinning 😄

For such a simple show with only the first episode out, the comments section is already a bit messy due to a couple of users. Probably time to block, it’s get too tiring otherwise.

They can still do kiss scenes at 17. Phuwin was 17 for FUTS and he had multiple kiss scenes. He even did light bed scenes for NLMG and Warp Effect by 19.

PG intimacy scenes is not the issue, to me PerTar look very similar, like brothers, so I hope they don’t go that route lol.

In the series it’s more about Akin’s first role that he played, which happened to be a high school student. They have actually made it more palatable.

In the manga though, ya Jin was more into the high school, virginal aspect of it. The manga is very explicit and kinky at times.

Ya, it’s made clear in the manga that Akin is a genius in the acting field but he is very naive about romantic matters and real life in general.

I don’t see it at all lol.
