Very true. There is still lot ofgender discrimination seen every where despite most of us being educated. Our…
Yep! I think show does a good job of showing the discrimination that women face in fields that are dominated by men. It’s aggravating to watch but the point is that it should be maddening! I only hope that in the latter episodes they’ll show ways to improve upon the inequality and bias against women.

it's only been 8 eps, and chen xiao (TSY) has made me cry 2 timesreally whenever TSY cries in any drama, i also…
Right? I know it’s a weird compliment but TSY is such a good crier, lol. She’s such a natural at emotional scenes and great at making you feel for and with her!

Title Flight to You Spoiler
First 8 ep, I am on board with the drama but also annoyed by the characters... GNT should lay off a bit esp towards…
I agree, both Gu NanTing and Cheng Xiao have a lot of growing to do and I appreciate that the drama is showcasing that they're flawed characters and not perfect. Yes, GNT is an excellent pilot but he's too rigid and despite his good intentions, he's much too controlling. He needs to let go of his past trauma and realize that life isn't always going to go well EVEN if he does everything by the book. His ex-gf passing away won't change even if he becomes a robot (so to speak). Cheng Xiao is far too impulsive and quick to temper for a pilot. She needs to realize that not everyone has an agenda against her (which is hard as a female in the industry she's in but she's just too biased against GNT). I don't think she's too emotional but I do think she needs to adjust her attitude. Frankly speaking, I work in the healthcare industry and if I spoke like she did in the first few episodes to GNT, I would've been reprimanded even worse. This isn't about unfairness but she's been too rude more than once. I look forward to both their growths together and separately!

(I think it's more likely that Cheng Xiao is written as such to show that she needs to grow and mature vs TSY portraying her as such. She's got a chip on her shoulder, rightfully so since even the higher ups are looking at her differently, but she needs to learn to pick her fights and see who is truly in her corner vs who is faking it.)

There was a line by one of the characters in the drama: "I thought GNT was your teacher but it looks like you're teaching GNT as well." I agree 100% with this! Lots of learning and growing to do for them both :)

Wang Kai self-dubbed so yep, it's his own voice! I love the tone of his voice.
I've always loved his voice, it's so pleasant to listen to! Would love a radio show hosted by him lol but he's too good-looking haha

I agree with a lot of the points that other commenters have remarked on. This is straight up misogyny. But I do want to say that this isn't America, this is taking place in China AND even if it were taking place in USA (for example), unfair treatment between the sexes are still taking place. Wage inequality is still taking place and very much a thing in USA.

I admire that this drama went to this extent and is clearly putting the discrimination against women, esp in an industry like the aviation industry, on display. What I hope (and imagine will happen) is that Cheng Xiao will show that women can and will succeed despite all the obvious inequalities AND work towards correcting all the issues. The drama is highlighting all the issues women face in a predominantly male industry. I kind of wish they had a side character that was a male flight attendant too xD

Does anyone know if Wang Kai did his own dubbing for this one?
Wang Kai self-dubbed so yep, it's his own voice! I love the tone of his voice.

I was worried that since this is another workplace drama, TSY’s character might be too similar to her past dramas but after two episodes, I’m relieved and pleased that Chen Xiao is different from Lemon. She’s much more headstrong here and stubborn, as well as a touch arrogant. I like how determined Chen Xiao is but she definitely has a lot of room to improve and lots to learn from Gu Nan Ting. Also really enjoying how TSY and WK play off each other. I expected good acting from both so there’s no worry there xD

Is this drama about romance? Or more like workplace like in TSY previous drama? Cause i've read in comment here,…
Should be workplace romance! From all the trailers and from interviews, it seems that the drama is focused more on the aviation industry and on TSY’s Chen Xiao being a female pilot.

Flight or road home which of these dramas will be released first?
Flight to You should be first, it’s always been a 2022 Q4 drama while Road Home is broadly listed as 2023.

I would like to hear your opinion on when did you think CSS forgave LBY? Please remember to add spoilers as our…
In a weird way, I don’t feel like there was really a point where CSS “forgave” HBY in the sense that she wasn’t really still mad at him but that she couldn’t let what happened go and forget all the hurt. I think, like the Empress said, sometimes it isn’t about forgiving or letting go but moving onwards together despite of all the pain they went through and hurt they dealt each other. And I feel like CSS realized that during the fire bc it was like yes, she was still upset and not sure 100% if she wanted to hand her heart over again but that it doesn’t matter in the end bc she obviously still loves him and wants him in her life. Plus, she realized that HBY never stopped torturing himself for what happened through the 5 years they were separated.

honestly, if the emperor had allowed LBY to investigate the massacre officially and he had severely punished all…
It wasn’t entirely bc the Emperor refused to severely punish those involved but rather his hands were tied in some instances bc those people were all from clans that contributed to his own reign. It’s extremely frustrating bc he’s not just HBY’s family but he’s also the Emperor so yeah, he didn’t punish some of the criminals but he had to think about the fact that those men were sometimes the last of their family lines. He did sentence Peng Kun to death for what he did in Gu City.

It was also largely because HBY didn’t have any physical evidence to the fact that the Marquis Cheng Yang was involved besides the fact that he was the one that saw him kill his father. He was counting on Peng Kun to be a witness but the Marquis killed him so that was ultimately why HBY felt like he had to take things into his own hands and murder the Marquis himself.

Hey, i just see some comments about love triangle , lack of comunication between leads , someone said its not…
The FL gets engaged three times to three different men but it’s obvious about a handful of episodes into s1, which man she’ll end up with in the end. It’s extremely obvious, lol xD The romance is a slow-burn only bc the first half of the drama is focused on the FL’s relationship with her family but otherwise, there’s plenty of romantic gestures throughout.

Ok I am confused. Did they actually get married in Hua city or did they plan to? Like the emperor said he wanted…
I think it’s an editing thing again bc the Grandma said they were planning to marry (and skipped the engage
ent entirely) but the Emperor was complaining that they already got married so it seems like there were scenes in between that probably were cut?

WTH why is LBY allowing that creepy chick LJT to take care of him during those 7 years?! Hasn’t CSS suffered…
HBY was sentenced to 7 years exile/guarding of the borders but due to the Empress being at death’s door, he was summoned to return early by the Emperor so it was a 5 year separation and not 7. But that’s why he said he would be returning to the borders after the Empress passed, to finish the rest of his sentencing.

Just wanted to say that besides my absolute love for ALL the actors involved (bc as great as WL & ZLS are in this, the entire ensemble cast is A++++), I truly have the utmost appreciation and respect for the cinematographer and director. I read that he was still editing some bits of these last episodes up until yesterday but man, those shots and the way he chose to display the grief/anger! Multiple rounds of applause!
