Again, really enjoying the theme of responsibility these past few episodes!

If Yuheng had taken responsibility for what happened with the idol/star in her post-flight report, then CX wouldn't have had to face the ire of the netizens and had all her personal information posted online. That's life-threatening and not a small matter, just like GNT said. Both Yuheng and Xia Zhi left CX alone to face the consequences of THEIR actions/inactions. Equally responsible is Captain McDick who most likely leaked the flight audio in the first place.

Meanwhile, we have Cheng Xiao who only says that she'll accept the outcome of the investigation because she stands by her decision to have swerved the airplane. She might not be Captain yet but she's acting like one for sure! Really proud of our girl!

Yep, they've been friends for over 10 years, so I think they'll be ok. (Plus...if they could get over the death of NZ's cousin/GNT's girlfriend back then, I think this will be overcome as well.)

Got to say, it's good just to have someone treat CX the way NZ treats her xD GNT is a great person but he's still so closed-off right now lol.

I saw a picture of a kiss scene on Weibo too! Fingers crossed it hasn't been cut because it seems to take place during a hug scene. Perhaps it'll be cut from the CCTV broadcast but shown online?

The drama hasn't passed the halfway mark just yet so not sure if there'll be a real love triangle. So far, the ML and SML both like FL but it's too early to tell if they'll actually "fight" over her. FL likes ML.

I sure hope so! GNT doesn't seem like the type to be pressured (by NZ) but perhaps the constant clues from both his Shifu and Mom to think carefully and examine his own heart, will be a better motivator.

I think having NZ clearly making it known that he too likes CX, will at least push GNT to think harder and faster xD

It took some time to get over him from Master of My Own but he's SO likable here. I'd have SLS too but Wang Kai is too much for me to resist as GNT. Really appreciating how sweet and how good of a friend NZ is to GNT though. I hope so hard that that doesn't change (I don't think it will but still....)

Yes! I saw in an interview that TSY said playing CX taught her to be more confident as well. CX is so determined and I admire how strong she is, mentally and physically!

But really, his ex was a good partner but is he closing himself off like this and not giving CX (and himself) a chance bc of the ex or bc he still feels guilty towards the ex’s passing? In training, they were told not to exchange numbers! So Yuheng definitely knows lol. Her personality is more passive than CX for sure. I think if she’s only staying at a flight attendant for GNT, she needs to rethink bc it doesn’t seem like she’s a great fit. She wasn’t forceful enough when the idol didn’t buckle his belt either.

Lol, cos he’s a dick! But in reality, I think it’s because in Ai Jia’s case, she said she would take responsibility whereas Captain McDick isn’t going to claim responsibility for anything. He hightailed it out of that plane without even thinking of CX being left behind with a drunk and clearly violent passenger.

I really hope that it becomes clear he leaked the in-flight recording data (GNT this is the time for you to be a stickler for rules!!!) and gets penalized.

I’ve been combing through the trailers previously released to see what else might happen but all the “major” stuff seems to have occurred. There’s still them going on a rescue/relief mission of some kind. There’s still 20+ episodes left so I’m hoping she makes captain a few episodes before the end and they fly together/have flight stories then too!

Pretty sure he did as well. He’s literally only interested in kissing up and keeping himself blame-free. I can understand that he was right in his decision to keep the plane in lane and brake, but he’s so irresponsible that instead of letting it go, he wants to use this opportunity as an excuse to probably throw CX somewhere else again. He really needs to go by now, like c’mon.

Yeah, it’s going to get repetitive if it keeps centering around the fact that Director Jiang is messing around. There’s only so many times he can basically commit the same crime! They better nail him for this, like I just want more softly flustered GNT and CX flying their plane, thanks.

I like the emphasis placed on responsibility in these two episodes.

Cheng Xiao, despite all her mistakes in the past, has always admitted to them and taken responsibility for them. She's taken all her punishments like a trooper (despite them being unfair) as befitting of a captain. Meanwhile we have massive dick Jiang who left the plane before his own co-pilot AND the passenger. He was only concerned about the blame and called CX mainly to corroborate stories. Also seems like he's a shady mfer and passing the buck to CX for her to take the fall. Let's not get started on Yuheng and Xia Zhi.

RE: the plant no5, I'm guessing it's a metaphor for GNT himself. After CX said that all living things need some air, GNT put that plant outside for fresh air so I suppose the flower budding also means he's starting to show signs of life as well. That was the plant that he was constantly trimming dead leaves from in the beginning aka he was withering away after the passing of his gf but now he's starting to blossom again. (Let's just ignore the fact that plants NEED SUN ANYWAY HUH GNT?!)

There's just something about seeing a normally straight-faced man get all flustered hahahaha
