I get the feeling also that NZ has a strong hunch GNT likes CX as well. He's clearly genuine in his feelings for CX but he also knows CX likes GNT. I don't think he's the type of person that would get in-between two people like that. My disappointment is towards GNT's original decision to back off just bc of NZ.

+1!! It really is the dumbest plot line and I hate it the most, especially since the show has been making a point of having CX be so unlike other FLs in chasing after her own happiness and making moves on the ML.
I do really think that it'll last for an episode and not drag out though. Both GNT and NZ are mature characters so they shouldn't do this in the first place.

I am a little bit hopeful that this will be the last push GNT needs to make his decision for real. So far he's been inching towards CX but he needs to take that giant step now. I don’t think NZ is like that, he’s proven to be a very good friend to both GNT and CX so far! I think he doesn’t know that GNT likes CX bc he’s asked him before and GNT said it’s impossible and she’s his student only.
