For someone like GNT who has shut himself away completely for the past few years, it must've been a pretty hard step to even hold onto CX's hand (figuratively and literally) in the first place. I imagine that once he got wind of NZ's feelings for CX, his already fragile state of wanting to accept CX probably shattered and he retreated immediately. (Like dude backed up so fast the tire marks would be steaming irl.) CX said it best, GNT walks at a slow pace and that seemingly small step forward was already such a BIG step for him. It's almost like he overloaded on even that tiny bit and has gone into hibernation again. I get it but I hate it.
End of playing devil's advocate though bc I want him to grovel. I want him to beg. I want him to literally get on his knees and tell CX he's trash for giving off all signs of accepting her feelings and then backing off 🙃
Misleading previews...we all thought the boys decided on a fair fight over CX, and we were mad about them objectifying…

I get the whole chicks before dicks thing too, I just feel bad for CX :( poor thing doesn’t deserve the angst coming her way! GNT better have some tricks up his sleeve (I’m actually curious bc it seems like pre-death of his gf he wasn’t like the way he is now)

On a serious note, I still think it's encouraging that GNT and NZ seem to have reached an agreement on the basketball court (it better not be another misleading teaser lol) but I still don't like that he waffled his way into the "my bestie likes you so I'm going to back away now" option. I'm fine if he takes another 5 episodes even bc we all know his pace is slow and CX is resigned to waiting but don't treat CX like someone to pass on for the supposed greater good.
(It better really not be until ep35 that we can a hug, lol)

Todays episodes and the next few (judging by the teasers/trailers) definitely don't seem to be purely aviation-focused. The next two are on a rescue/relief mission but it's not as romance heavy, perhaps. I think that once GNT and CX sort themselves out, they might veer back towards the aviation side of things. There's still apparently a court case/judgement and I think considering all the mentioning of GNT's safety manual overhaul, there'll be something about that too.

I think it was always going to be more about CX's journey as the first female captain with tidbits about the aviation industry as a whole as well. I do hope they focus more on the aviation side of things as well in the upcoming episodes. There are still 15 or so episodes to go so there's still some room. At this point, I'm pretty sure the summary isn't entirely accurate anymore as it seems like most of the "major" incidents shown in the trailers/teasers have happened already.
They did end up spending 2+ years making sure the drama properly portrayed the aviation industry so I hope they'll include more about that as well!

Drama watching is subjective so what I like, you might not like but I always say to give a drama a chance for yourself to see if it's to your liking. If you are a fan of TSY and WK, then definitely give this a shot!
MoMo had a really unlikable ML but Wang Kai is a much, much better ML here (and just...more attractive, sorry LGX lol). He plays the slightly shy, easily flustered and panicky ML really well. His expressions are A++. If you're into romance, the romance gets more amped up after the first 10+ episodes and it's really sweet, actually. The chemistry between TSY and WK is also much much better than you'd think (it's really, really good ;D)
Does SML even like CX?I mean, obviously he likes her. But how? Like as a younger sister, As s junior colleague…
Ni Zhan definitely likes CX as in he wants her to be his girlfriend. From the very first episode when they meet, it's kind of obvious that he finds her interesting and he's been more forward with his actions than GNT in showing that he likes her. Whether he acts on his feelings and tries to compete with GNT is another story....
