Yeaaaah, there was an interview TSY did and she said if there's anything CX could improve on, it would be her rashness. I can understand her rationale behind the decision she's making but like GNT said, this isn't something that can be solved with words alone. They need solid evidence and in fact, bringing a case in court before you have solid evidence can ruin your chances of winning and filing again in the future!

The average time a commercial airline pilot's career can last for is around 30 years. Your argument is that IF a woman takes six months off to give birth, she's suddenly not profitable.

In a circumstance like the one they were in, the Captain should always be the last one remaining. No matter what CX says, she is not the captain and IF Jiang Tao were a "pretty good leader" like you said he is in your original comment, he would not have decided to leave CX with the passenger and sent her out instead. He did not hesitate and just left. I've watched the episode and I know CX's reasoning. Jiang Tao is someone who likes to take the praise but does not take any responsibility for mishaps when they occur.

Lol, that's not solid ground, that's Jiang Tao findings excuses to not hire a woman because he doesn't want to, period. Let's disregard the fact that women are not only for birthing babies and the fact that not all women even want to have a child. Medically speaking, female pilots are allowed to fly all the way up to when the have to give birth if there are no abnormal situations (and at the least, they can fly eight weeks prior to childbirth) which means that if Cheng Xiao decided to have a child, she would not need to take a year off just to have her baby.

Like President of Luzhou Airlines said himself, sometimes a company cannot just think of profit but of their social responsibilities.

I actually did not mention anything about sending CX to ground duty in my original comment. CX was indeed over the line in her handling of the situation but Jiang Tao sending a pilot that the company, like you said, spent so much money to train, over to ground transport was a clear example of his own prejudice. It does not matter whether CX gained experience or knowledge from her time there, that is NOT thanks to Jiang Tao. Jiang Tao sent her there hoping she would resign on her own and not have to fire her.

NZ was invited to the dinner party by CEO Sun and thought it was to build relations with the CEO. CX and the two flight attendants were invited by Jiang Tao ON PURPOSE to butter up to CEO Sun. NZ spent the whole night drinking all the alcohol CEO Sun wanted CX to drink. The two of them are not comparable.

None of what you typed excuses Jiang Tao for repeated blocking GNT from excelling in his position either. He purposely sends GNT to greet the female trainees even though they had a meeting with the other CEOs to block GNT from getting more chances to be VP.

Also was Jiang Tao being a reasonable team leader when left his crew member behind on a plane that could catch on fire soon with a drunk passenger who was clearly being violent? Absolutely not.

Reasonable is not a word I would use to describe Jiang Tao.

I will acknowledge his capabilities as a captain as that doesn't have anything to do with his character but as a team leader, he absolutely sucks. The first words out of his mouth when asked why he doesn't want CX to be transferred over to his department was because A) she's not married and B) she hasn't had a child. He's constantly acted against GNT and tried to keep him from getting his Deputy Department Head position back even though GNT did nothing wrong during his suspension/investigation period. And for the sake of buttering up to one of the CEOs, Mr Sun, he dragged CX and two female flight attendants into a dinner. So, as a team leader, he's selfish and thinks of only HIMSELF, not the company. If he truly was thinking of the company, he'd realize that by fabricating evidence like audio from control towers is even worse for the company than just admitting to the wrong and settling with the victim's family.

Considering the fact that he bribed the Saigon control tower and his own brother-in-law, what's coming next is jail time and being fired.

GNT is focusing in on the fact that one out of the two captains that answered was female! I mean otherwise, it's impossible hahaha but it's dramaland after all xD

I feel like they're hinting that they'll manage to get the female captain of one of the other flights to testify that she was notified by the control tower in Saigon of a medical emergency and to give way to Luzhou Airlines to land first.

For real...also did they think the Saigon control tower doesn't also have recordings? Lol, what a joke. Either Director Jiang is truly just bsing out his arse or the drama made a mistake with this bc the aviation industry is one of the most recorded industries.

It's actually not today's episode but ep25! (The one where CX rips the housing contract and gives her girlboss speech!) CCTV8's episodes are a few behind because on the first day, they only aired 2 episodes vs the 6 that were available for streaming. Super happy for the entire Flight to You team !!

You're right, not only are defibrillators standard on all planes but airlines are required to train their crew in using them. Drama is a drama after all, I guess.

It's actually really sad the way Director Jiang has regressed in his career as a pilot. From what GNT said, it seems like he used to be a pretty good pilot and had good morals. He was the one that put into place the original safety manual that they all currently follow after all. However, it's clear from the way he handled the decision to not divert that patient safety is no longer his top concern. He's way too involved in the business side of the company and therefore thinking of $$ and profit more than anything else. A human life should always be the most important and one should always go for the safest option vs the let's leave it up to chance option.

Hate the guy and hopes he gets his balls nailed to the wall.

If you think about it, he's so not used to dealing with emotions and all that so he chose to do the only thing he's always done which is to withdraw and retreat. A cowardly move considering CX's more brave and upfront personality but it is really hard for someone like GNT who is clearly a compartmentalizer. Still, the road to hell is paved with good intentions and no matter what he intended, he still ended up really, really hurting everyone involved. GEE JUST LIKE HIS SHIFU SAID HUH. why call him shifu if you're not going to take his advice, gu nan ting!!!

I saw a thread on twitter where someone guessed that it might end up being bad (quarantine like you said) and turn into a case of negligence, hence the court case/gravel emoticon that we see coming up in the next few episodes. If so, I hope this case nails Director Jiang's arse to the wall.

The biggest hurdle for GNT is the fact that he bottles everything up. Like he said in his chat messages to his ex, he doesn't have anyone else to talk to. He's actually very pure and caring but he does it all in secrecy and rather let someone mistaken his intentions (hello, their feud in the beginning could've not happened, loool) than to tell the truth!

Especially bc these previews are always misleading!! I need some hope hahaha. I really wish I didn't start the drama until it finished airing but I couldn't hold out, sigh. No willpower lol

That's a cute way of putting it, haha. I thought the fact that he was the one examining her hands for burn while she was the one pulling away was a good switch from their usual him pulling away from her! I truly, truly appreciate all these hand and brooding shots of Wang Kai xD
