It's a drama meant to portray nuanced and flawed characters and how traumas, insecurities and jealousy can ruin a person and friendship. The writer intend for Sang Yeon to become the worst version of herself until karma hits her later on where only then she started to have regrets and reflect back on her life and past actions. This is something that happened in real life more common than you think.

If you want to watch a drama where all the main characters are mature and good-natured and make wise decisions all the time, then I fear this drama isn't for you.

About to sound like a broken record but on ep 7, I realized once again that I've never seen an actor run as handsomely as BJT. He really does have great form and running posture. He makes actions like walking, running, and taking off a jacket or sunglasses look effortlessly cool.....

The drama is a mix of suspense, comedy and fantasy elements.

The first 4 loops are all trial and error but the 5th loops are the final one that sticks. All the earlier loops used for investigating, gaining clues, planning while the execution to solving a case is finalized in the ending loop that sticks. Even if he manage to prevent robbery in earlier loops, it won't matter bc the day gonna repeat anyway. It's the fifth loop that's the most important.

I imagine when he first heard about the robbery case news, he wouldn't know that's a loop day bc it happened on random days and he could only tell if the day is loop day when time ticks at 12 am. When he realizes that it's a loop day, then on second loop, he went to the accident location, obviously wanting to investigate to prevent the accident, but then gets bombed before he gets to do anything. Remember he's the only one who knew about the future accident, so preventing the robbery and explosion by himself I'm sure it's not easy without any other manpower. Third loop is just for him to watch how the incident inside the bank gonna pan out, and gets more info on the case etc since his boss won't allow SWAT backup without solid reason. Then, having more information on the robbers, he called his boss anonymously to convince him to do something about the robbery case that's about to happen. But with all the bombs and guns they have, how could a small team of police tackle the violent robbers, only in final ending 5th loop, he gets desperate and convince his boss to trust him and dispatch a SWAT backup.

This scene pretty much inspired from old HK film, so it does get a bit dramatic but I wouldn't put too much thoughts into it or expect realism considering the genre. Just turn off your brain a little if you wanna fully enjoy the drama. Otherwise the drama might not be for you

That's too high. I love BJT and quite enjoyed the drama but imo 8.1 is a decent and appropriate score considering this drama has some weak and draggy parts. At most 8.4 for me but getting an 8 for this genre is already good enough, so I wouldn't dwell sm into it.

I liked Twelve Letters too. I think It's bc the genre of life, drama and suspense is not considered mainstream genre

Xianxia and romance have wider audience appeal, hence more likely to be prioritized for marketing investment

BJT is pretty much auramaxxing in each episode like he's just so fine. Especially in the white shirt with the duty belt suspenders. Also his charismatic acting!!!! Couldn't ask for better casting for Ding Qi.

If everyone else thinks he's manly but you're the only one who's not, that's a sign you need to go to doctor for eye check, or mental check since you might probably be consumed with so much bitter ess and jealousy that you're confusing reality from perception

I hope this drama will bring home a lot of awards. This is once-of-a-lifetime drama. A masterpiece that comes once in a blue moon. But idk how well-received this drama is in Korea. I feel like award shows tend to nominate dramas that surpass certain degree of popularity.

When you say wrap up, do you mean Squid case? Idk if there will be new and different case, even if there is, ultimately they will probably be traced back to Moma biotech bc that's the center plot. Since the main cast except Ding Qi all work there.
