i finished this kdrama today and honestly i really disliked it😭 i started it like months ago and struggled finishing it for so long, it started feeling like a burden because once i start something i NEED to finish it but it was just so…boring. it was repetitive and it kept going in circles and the plot felt like it wasn’t moving anywhere. also i really hated the ending like bro theres no way they did that💀 it was so out of pocket…
basically the main character was diagnosed with cancer and they made it look like he died because the mother of the main character told everyone (including his gf) thats hes fr dead…they did a 5year time skip and he came back out of nowhere to reveal he’s alive and he just wanted them to think hes dead because he wanted to recover fully before coming back LIKE ARE YOU MENTAL IN WHAT WORLD IS THAT OK….5YEARS OF MENTAL TORTURE BC U THOUGHT UR PARTNER IS DEAD……….uhm i personally would not let that slide 👍👍👍👍👍 but yeah im glad i finished this finally but i dont recommend it…if youre like me and feel the need to finish what uve started, ur just gonna trap urself with this one 😭

Well, its interesting..

It had a alot of potential definitely, its one of those kdramas you wish had another season or more episodes. I was left so empty with the ending, like i shipped the two girls so much and just as everything got interesting the show ended!? BRUHH
I also wonder where half of the cast is today because I haven't seen any of the actresses in there on any recent tv shows or anything..which sucks because I grew to like them through this small role of theirs. Theres also very little GLs so this fed me well but I still wish korea focused more on making GLs like this or movies ...just anything...but they seem to only be interested in mass producing BLs lol..

An alright show

I expected a lot more from this iconic duo but its honestly not their fault, they both acted well and gave us another lovely performance and this time with a happy ending!! So it healed something inside of me from uncontrollably fond 😭😭

I think this entire plot and concept is just…wild, to say the least.😭 It’s kinda stupid and just, half of the things that happened were just…I just kept saying out loud, ‘what the fuck is happening right?’ LMAO

Though a lot of it is covered with good humor, its gotten me to laugh a lot and I wasn’t expecting them to bounce off of each other so well for comedy bits. I honestly liked the references they made and the cameos that appeared in the show, it’s a silly show to watch when you’re bored- though it became increasingly boring throughout every episode but i stuck it out because i like the actors.

Suzy’s acting is once again top notch, I really enjoy her psychopathic roles! She deserves more shows where she shows that side of her.

And I really liked how they added a lesbian side character and didn’t make it her entire personality but also didn’t hide it either. It was genuinely nice to see a big budget show include a character like that, need that more often!!!

Yeah honestly it was a funny show and a fun concept, but I just can’t give it a higher rating than 7 because it really did become boring towards the end 😂😂 But I did like the ending tho. The last couple of episodes were a drag but the ending was nice and enjoyable. I love when they show every character and what they’re doing after the conflict is resolved once and for all.

I don’t really know if I would recommend this… I think it would be more fun to watch this with someone than alone! So get someone to watch this with and laugh together so it doesn’t grow boring in the long run!

Same thing as squid game s3, disappointing

I don’t have much to say honestly. A lot of thing were done in season 3 just to milk the little bit of popularity it still had and it felt like the ending was the exact same as squid game season 3 lol

Yeah like i said, if you waited a lot of years for this season then you would understand why its a bit disappointing to come to a season like that. The games seemed a bit boring and tame as well, and the whole show seemed to have skipped around and the directors slapped this onto the viewers like ‘here damn!’ 😭 But yeah it was still nice to get the main couples canon endgame confirmed and the fact that the characters from s1 and 2 are confirmed to be alive and recovering! Very sweet ending.

Choi Wooshik slays as a killer

Okay so I’ve really got no complaints over this kdrama, i really enjoyed it!

Especially now in 2024, it feels like every kdrama that has released this year or in 2023, was a little boring so my standards have lowered, I’ve been waiting for a show that has the same vibe as My name Kdrama for example, since thats genuinely one of the best shows I’ve watched.

And though I can’t really compare this show to My name, they have nothing in common except for the crime aspect of it, but its been hard to enjoy anything and this was a perfect kdrama for a quick watch.

But, while there is nothing for me to complain about, there is only one thing that I found a little stupid and its that it felt like the plot got a little lost as it progressed. I thought it would turn out like Vigilante maybe, since this story did focus on Lee Tang (Choi Wooshik), but after like maybe episode 5-6(?), Lee Tang was barely a main character and they focused on the other antagonist and the detectives backstory. Which wasn’t bad per se but I did want to see more of Lee Tang and his entire arc about getting goosebumps when he meets a bad person shouldve been more shown because i found that the most interesting. Everything else just kind of felt like it came out of nowhere, like why do we all of a sudden care about the detectives past and the villain? And why did they need an entire episode to themselves? I feel like it couldve easily been revealed sooner and shorter and the rest filled with Lee Tangs journey.

Overall, I didn’t really get what the last few
moments of the episode meant but i’m guessing they’re setting up for a second season. If the show ends up getting another season, i WILL be seated. Still, such a great show!!

MUST WATCH!

I wasn’t expecting much from this show but holy shit it did not disappoint!

Each episode was filled with something new and interesting, the plotwists they would end each episode with made you want to continue immediately!

I’m in awe and i’m so sad that it only had 7 episodes.

I wasn’t rooting for anyone in the show until Mimo came. I’m so glad they connected a mother daughter relationship into the plot, it mended so well with the flow. Shows how strong mothers love can truly be.

I cannot feel angry at any of the characters in there, the grandma who hunted down Mimo was also a mother who was filled with grief and pain, Momi was no different. She wanted to protect her daughter just like she said in the car when she was fleeing.

Momi’s mother sacrificing herself in the end was so heart wrenching as well. She was painted as a heartless monster who didn’t care but a mother’s instinct and love can never truly go away.

I cried in the end, i’m really happy Mimo had her best friend with her in the end. And if the show ever did a sequel I would definitely watch!

I also wonder what happened to the daughter who needed that kidney donated…Hm!

Overall, amazing show! Great acting from everyone and great pacing. Must watch and it’s quick watch as well! 10/10!!

It will ruin your day

But in a good way. This movie is so well done but it’ll TUG on your heartstrings. Nowadays zombie movies are always copy pastes from each other, and though you can’t do many different things with this genre, this movie totally does it. You get attached to the people there and at some point you really start fearing if your favourite character will die (they probably will here ..) it’s heartbreaking, especially the ending. I’ve been told to watch this movie since forever and always pushed it behind, today I watched it and it kept my attention as well as my emotions. Amazing casting, great acting and overall an amazing plot of the movie. So much action and suspense, I loved it. You won’t regret watching this!!

Bruh

This is just one big BRUH moment. I honestly felt zero connection with most of the characters except for the lesbian side couple. They were the only reason I kept watching this boring ass kdrama. This was just the most frustrating watch ever, especially since this story follows a girl whos head over heels over a guy whos CLEARLY an asshole and no he will not change lol, im still pissed they made her end up with him when he showed 0 signs of development and actually changing as a person. All he did was apologise a bit and that was it for her...
Potato boy deserved better!! And that ending scene where she longingly looked at him through the window makes me think she might've regretted her choice in the end, which is both satisfiying and also frustrating at the same time.

ALSO I was really looking forward to seeing the GL side couple share a lil cute kiss or a lil more scenes atleast but I'll take what I can get.

I started this Kdrama because of Choi Wooshik and i really wasn't disappointed. Later I found out Kim Taehyung made an OST for this kdrama and once I heard the song play in the episodes i literally couln't contain my excitement. Overall the plot is really sweet and the pace was really well done as well. I don't think anything was rushed and everything fell into its place in time. The two love birds falling in love with each other and sharing a lovely kiss in the rain just like their first kiss really makes your heart skip a beat. I loved the documentary bit as well, how the universe needed them to get together again. Forced proximity is one of my favourite genres so this was really enjoyable. Second lead was also very likeable- on both sides. The famous idol girl and the guy who films, I liked them all. Really cute kdrama, I recommend it if you like sweet romance kdramas like this!

Demon boyfriend? I meeaaannnnn…

Listen, the name of the show kinda gives away what this show is about.

‘My demon’, yeah its the main characters demon!! Her hubby to be exact.

Fake arranged marriage and supernatural trope along with enemies to lovers trope mixed in, and they did it well actually!

The story itself or I guess the show overall isn’t anything special on its own, the plot is pretty basic and most things that happen are very predictable (at least for me).

The characters that get introduced in the show are either very likable or not likeable at all- no in between. But the people you don’t like at first get a very nice development and become likable. Its a sweet story but it does get a tiny bit boring. Most of the time I had to have something in the background playing to keep me from being bored.

But besides that, the main couple were so adorable! Like sickly sweet adorable ooohhh😭😭😭 they made me jealous so many times, giddy too! The actors definitely have a lot of chemistry with each other and its very obvious.

Show is a pretty basic K-Drama, its not bad but its nothing special either. Give it a watch if you’re curious about it!

Welp!

I won’t lie the first time this kdrama was being advertised i was suuuuper excited and had such high expectations, especially since i love comedy kdramas and this was advertised as one.

to that being said, let me just say that the comedy was certainly served well and i had many moments where i laughed! so that part was good.

but i can’t lie that certain moments in the episodes were such a drag. couple of episodes in it got super boring and it seemed like certain moments in the show were added just to make the episode longer, like a filler of some sort.

most dialogue scenes were super boring except for the rivalry between won and his sister, i was really intrigued by them! i wish we got to see more of them and more of them getting along.

the side plot with the mother was also rushed imo and very boring, she appeared out of nowhere and was quickly accepted and then we moved on, and the thing with that friend with the husband? like why did she stay with him when he’s a literal selfish prick? though im happy she put him in his place and i loved the daughter!! she was such a savage!!

i loved the side characters a lot but i also feel like mr.no’s romance plot was either ignored or forgotten? even if it was hinted at like maybe once or twice it felt like it just got erased and was used as a filler plot. i’m also sad we couldn’t get to see more of sarangs hotel!

so in conclusion i think a lot of things in the show were dragged out or rushed ! it wasn’t a bad show per se, it’s a good watch but it did take me months to finish it.

I NEED MORE OF THIS SHOW

I got this show recommended by a friend and the moment she told its got only 6 episodes i knew it was gonna be bomb. AND IT WAS!

Listen 6 episodes are easy to fuck up too, its not like this show is one of a kind never done before but it was such a good build up and i liked almost every character in there!!! I was so invested and it was only episode 1. The arc the build up the plotwists, theres really nothing to complain about honestly. The only complaint I have is that 6 episodes is too short for such a good concept of a kdrama.

The detectives and their back stories and the fucked up family, it was all just so good. Such a good and quick watch although I was dreading the ending because of how immersed I got into this story.

Also I really wish they showed the siblings get along but I guess its a too far fetched of a wish…the plotwist in the end shocked and disgusted me, I had all sorts of theories under my belt but it never would’ve been that…Oh well. Good shock value.

I recommend this a lot!! Amazing actors and acting, such a good quick show.
