Cunty sweet gay musical/short film
I don’t have much to say about this since its so short but this movie is so far ahead of its time and I know i’m not the first one to say that about this short film.I knew Lee Jehoon was in this movie but I didn’t know Yeon Woojin was in it. Two popular Kdrama actors in an LGBT movie.
I understand how much significance their small roles could’ve made for a conservative Korea at the time, and this made me view the actors differently. I genuinely hope they start opening up to lgbt shows with popular kdrama actors from now on.
Even in 2025 they keep censoring gay relationships (especially lesbian). Can’t believe they haven’t progressed much even after this banger dropped!
Though it was lowkey surreal lol I didn’t know what was happening during those singing montages but it was sweet. I’m glad the couple ended up together despite being caught. Very cute and quick watch.

Get ready to be hardcore queerbaited
This was originally promoted as a GL which is primarily why I was excited about starting this show in the first place. I mean I wasn’t surprised when I found out that they ended up censoring out most of the plot but it still felt so incredibly unfair that they hinted at a very clear queer relationship but then just abandoned it because of said censorship lol.Korea, please stop taking GLs and turning them into straight passing shows.
Korea has been getting a lot more confident about making BLs but not GLs? Just straight up annoying and frustrating.
However, that aside, it was a really cool premise. Good plot and character development, I wish episodes were longer or if they kept the same duration of episodes but added more eps i would also be happy about that. Nevertheless, the actors did well and showed a lot of chemistry between each other but I can’t help but go back on my point about how queerbaiting this entire show was.
Atleast we got a kiss scene, but even that isn’t something to be happy about since it’s apparently a dream lol…but I guess i’ll take what i can get. Hopefully gls only progress from here on out.

A fun action movie to watch
It’s nothing special nor boring, it’s perfectly in the middle.Korean action/morale movies always revolve around women and their mistreatment and how a man is only then realising how women have it hard and then they save them yadda yadda, like I said- seen it many times. They don’t cover anything special or never seen before in the movie. What’s a bit surprising is that Seojoon who’s known for making misogynistic remarks about women is in a movie about saving women from human trafficking and against misogyny…granted his comments were from 2014 but that movie is only 3 years away from those comments.
Won’t nitpick about that further, the movie was funny and had a good balance of funny and serious. It’s one of those movies that are funnier to watch with someone rather than alone.
Overall, it was a pretty good movie and it was interesting and funny.

CEO X Secretary but roles reversed ?
I started this show because the clips of the ML taking care of the FL were trending on tiktok, and I knew I had to watch it…I’ve never seen the ML actor in anything before (atleast not as a main character) and I think he might’ve become one of my favourites after this show.
I’m a long time fan of Han Jimin since I watched her show Familiar Wife, her acting is amazing and she delivers everytime!
The chemistry between the two main characters is amazing. Their skinship is so real, that it made me speculate the two actors. They must have had a crush one another…or even dated in secret…it was just too good.
The plot of the story was intriguing and interesting, it left me wanting more everytime an episode would end. The characters were funny and loveable, and I think everyone had a very nice storyline.
My only complaint is that the K-Drama had a lot of plotholes, the one that comes to mind is how quickly the villain in the show got defeated. I mean, it was obvious it was going to happen but in my opinion that storyline wasn’t really developed well— they spent so much time building up the moment the villain takes everything only for it to be taken away in a split second…but these small nitpicks are genuinely not important because it doesn’t make the show less enjoyable.
It was a sweet, slice of life show. Loved the romance that bloomed between the main characters as well as the side characters. Lovely show!

Master Kim in another universe
Couldn’t help but be reminded of Dr. Romantic as soon as the trauma doctor who never hesitates and saves everyone was introduced. Just like good ol’ Master Kim.This show was amazing. Once again, not surprising. 8 Episode K-dramas always do so well, which is surprising because low episode shows usually don’t work out well because of how little time they have to show everything. But this was really an entertaining and enjoyable show.
I have to complain a bit though, Dr.Yang (Anus lol) the actor’s acting was just…not that good in my opinion. His screaming sequences just irked me and it was never funny since i’m guessing that was added for ‘comedy’ reasons. But whenever he would act over the top and scream it looked so soulless…like you could tell he was just following the scripts rules lol, and it was just always way over the top- if you’re gonna do that then atleast do it well. Thats the only thing that really pissed me off.
Another complaint is that I found it a little ridiculous how a hospital could go on for so long just caring about money and somehow building a prestigious reputation and nobody ever reporting on how greedy it was? And how the hell is it allowed to let ONE trauma doctor operate on everyone at once. I understand its for plot reasons but…I don’t know their logic is just a little…lol like even Dr.Romantic had a better logic most of the times even though they had some dramatic ass scenes too.
But besides that, the character dynamic and development was enjoyable to watch and overall the story was good and entertaining.
If you like medical shows, give it a try!

Are you human too except its a hologram
Initially I started this show like maybe 2-3 years ago but first episode didn’t catch my attention so I gave up on it. I also didn’t really like the casting at the time so it didn’t pique my interest. However after recently watching another Kdrama where the ML was, I remembered this show and how I dipped on it mid first episode.
All of my friends watched this show and said it was good but I never listened, but oh my god, this show is really good!
At first I was really curious about how they would make it even possible for a human to fall for a hologram. I mean I understood ‘are you human too’ plot because falling for a robot/android is somewhat believable since it has a physical body, but this was really interesting and I needed to know how they would go about it.
Watching this show in 2025 was perfect too, since AI’s are everywhere and there’s been cases of humans actually falling for an AI. I just wonder how much worse it could possibly get if holograms were a thing lol…
Overall there’s not really much for me to say except for the fact that its really good and I enjoyed it. Some parts were a little goofy like you could tell the budget for VFX was low because omg 😭 The scenes where they would make the hologram appear and disappear were just too funny to me.
Im also not really sure why they made face blindness look like that since thats not accurate at all? I actually had to google if I had my facts wrong because why did her eyes blur out peoples faces like she’s some machine with censorship lol? I guess they did it for plot purposes but I think that was also really funny because they would show peoples bodies but blurred faces 😭
Anyway i’m really happy that she ended up falling for the human version of the hologram because I actually thought for a second that they would do what ‘are you human too’ kdrama did which was make the girl end up with the robot instead of the human guy version of him 😭 now that i think about it…that’s actually super weird LMAOO okay thats besides the point, but overall I think this kdrama is worth sticking around for!
Though I must admit, the only reason I stuck around this K-Drama was because of the ML since I’ve grown fond of him through the Kdrama ‘Witch at Court’ (also great show).
Alright with that being said, the show is pretty good. It lacked a bit in romance part in my opinion but it was still super cute!

where do find this bar…??
i think i saw somewhere a long time ago, people talking about a show or a movie about a bar appearing out of nowhere and the bartender listens to everyones struggles. i was always intrigued by this plot idea and wondered if it would ever come to life. much to my surprise, netflix recommended me this show with the exact same premise and of course i had to watch!!first of all, if you watched the k-drama ‘tomorrow’, it’s almost the exact same. people come to them and they settle grudges, in tomorrow, the ‘entities’ find people who are on the brink of giving up their life and save them. it’s essentially the same idea, and since tomorrow is one of my favourite shows, this was really nice to watch and made me have a feeling like i was watching tomorrow’s twin show!
i liked everything about it. the plot, the comedy, the reveals, plotwists- you name it.
even the characters were cool! i really have nothing to complain about. although i have to admit, some of the major reveals in the show were so easy to spot so they didn’t really come off as shocking lol…i was more so happy and excited everytime i got a guess correct.
such a wonderful story with a beautiful message! i recommend it!

Better than S1 and S2
If i’m being honest, amongst the other seasons, this one by far was the most interesting one to me. Plotwise and actionwise, it was very entertaining and I was pleasantly surprised to see that they did better than some shows would when they make a third season.Though I think there were many unnecessary deaths (won’t spoil who but I mean..most deaths that happened were pretty predictable and stupid)
And yes I liked this season better but only plotwise. Everything else seemed to remain the same, acting wasn’t all that better and the monsters are still goofy looking, I don’t know- they’re supposed to be scary but they just look incredibly funny and so very obviously fake. And I guess that won’t ever change because the whole point of this show is people turning into all kinds of monsters.
The ending was a bit confusing imo, I have no idea how Hyunsu ended up bringing back that little kid from monsterazation when he was literally goo???
And if it’s been revealed that monsters can be reborn and turn into neohumans, why couldn’t Yisu do the same? I thought she’s already neohuman so she couldn’t die— actually I don’t really remember what happened with her in the end but I doubt she actually died…Yeah, the ending was a little too vague for me.
Overall it was pretty entertaining though and action this season was neat. Lots of unnecessary deaths but I guess for the sake of shock value they had to do something.

Forbidden love…crimes, tension, cheating, everything.
The first time I was introduced to this movie was when RM from BTS came out with his single, “Closer”. The music video was this movie, and I was immediately intrigued. However I never got to watch it. Later, my friend told me she watched the movie, and said it was one of the best movies she ever watched. Once again it got added into my movie list, and yet, I still haven’t gotten to watching it.Only today, while I was bored and in need of watching something, closer by RM was non stop replaying in my head, and I decided to watch it.
First off, I was caught off guard by the fact that this movie was 2 hours long.
I knew a little about the movie through my friend…”insomniac detective falls for one of his suspects.” Hmmm…sounds romantic right? What could they possibly need 2 hours for?
Then everything started confusing me.
The insomnianc detective in question was married, and the FL aka the suspect, was a widower, suspect of the murder of her late husband.
I was confused. Was this going to be an affair love story?
I didn’t like that one bit. If there’s one thing I dislike, it’s when writers try to make affairs seem romantic, to some extent I would’ve tolerated it if both parties had terrible partners, but that wasn’t the case at all. Well, I guess not the case for the detective, who was the one who silently initiated things in the first place.
I wondered why my friend praised this movie so much, and even though they never do anything physical in the first few minutes of the movie, there was definitely emotional cheating involved.
But I didn’t want to jump into anything since I wasn’t even halfway into the plot. So I trusted the process.
Things unravelled, and the plotwists kept me on my toes. But still, I could not find it in me to like the main characters. They both kept finding ways to make things worse for each other, but, you know how the quote goes..”The heart wants what it wants.” And that was very much the case for these two.
Towards the ending of the movie, I started feeling a little empathetic towards them. The tension, the struggle, the love albeit it being wrong. Everything was so well done, that at the end of everything I couldn’t even find it in me to be mad at them!
The ending broke me. And although I couldn’t understand why the two main characters did the things they did, and although I would still not support them and their actions, my heart ached for them regardless.
Amazing movie, amazing acting, and amazing camera work. I’m not usually a big fan of cinematography where they try to be too creative with their zoom ins and transitions and makes it feel like you should just focus on the camerawork rather than the movie itself, but they made you pay attention to both. The small zoom ins, and the way the camera is telling you, “Pay attention to this!” and you can’t help but listen and do so.
I recommend it, although the beginning is a little slow (in my opinion), everything gets better as the story goes on.

Watchable but disappointing
I found out about this movie after people pointed out that the actress from Atypical Family K-drama (the FL’s ‘sister’) was in a lesbian movie, and of course I was intrigued.Korea doesn’t produce many GLs or lesbian centered movies (atleast not now), so I always look forward to watching a new one, but this movie is just too vague. Half of the time I had to fill in the gaps myself on what was happening, and the abrupt cuts they would have between some scenes (e.g the scene where she was talking to that guy in the junkyard about her gf and him asking her why she was being sensitive over him wanting to meet her gf and then her moving away and then the scene just cuts) There’s more examples, I’m sure you would notice them too. However the chemistry between the actresses was also not that good, I was expecting a lot more but throughout the movie it felt like Jisoo wasn’t reciprocating any of the feelings back and she was just with her for fun. I wanted to enjoy this movie, seeing two people in love but it turned bleak so fast and it remained that way throughout the movie.
But I guess the stereotype of lesbians wanting to move in with each other immediately after getting together is true 🤣
Overall, the movie isn’t that bad, it talks about homophobia though very briefly and they never really get into it too much. It felt like everytime they touched a new topic in the movie, it wouldn’t be brought up again at all.
I wasn’t satisfied with the ending either, like I said, too vague. But the beginning was cute I guess.

Wattpad fanfic belike
Honestly I don’t have anything bad to say about this lol. I don’t think the K-Drama was supposed to be anything high quality or amazing, I mean hello they had EXO in their casting, didn’t need anything more right?🤣It was a really quick watch which I liked a lot, the comedy there was good and I’ve had many moments where I giggled- either from the goofy brother or giggle-blush from Chanyeols flirting.
I’m not an EXO-L, but I really enjoyed this. I wish more idols made this type of content. I know if I saw BTS do this I would faint lol (good kind of fainting not the jealous kind fr)
It’s a cute little childhood friends to lovers trope, though there’s nothing explicitly romantic happening (no kissing) , it was still cute and enjoyable. And Sehun with the brother was also a cute plot.
Its a fun little quick watch, nothing special to rate though. If you’re an EXO-L you’ll probably enjoy this a loooot more than I did 🤣

Stranger things vibes
At first it was a little boring and had a slow start, I had a really hard time watching it and figured I might drop it, but then my friend started watching it and she went a lot further with the show and started to talk to me about how good it is and that I should continue it, so I listened, and i’m glad I did!!!Trust me, once they get into the hospital (wink wonk), shit goes DOWN! It’s so good.
The arcs built up, the way they connect things to each other and the way all of it slowly gets revealed.
I don’t want to spoil much but to say overall, this gave me a lot of stranger things vibes at first and I was lowkey here for it, they did it really well— it was like….watching schindlers list mixed with strangers things almost?
The betrayals the sacrifices, this will bring you to tears, truly. Also the ending had me jump out of my seat!!!! I hope season 2 happens!
I never really liked the actor (park seojoon) and didn’t think he and han sohee fit each other but they showed their chemistry and i enjoyed it a lot.
Its a good watch, 10eps, perfect honestly, they didn’t drag it out (except for maybe a little in the beginning but then again i am very impatient) , built the drama up well, every new ep something new gets revealed, although theres still some plotholes like (***spoiler) how does lady maeda know about chaeoks mother and what kind of teacher was she to her? why were they so deeply connected that lady maeda remembers her? also was the japanese painter in love w chaeoks mother?😂 this one is just my personal theory.
Anyway I recommend this! Good watch!

Such an interesting plot!!
I would like to imagine that when one dies they get to experience this, I’m not sure if the rules are the same when you sin (by killing yourself) and then you can only go through what he did or if in general people who die of natural causes die and go through that. I for one would like to experience different lives honestly, watching this from an outsider’s perspective isn’t the same so maybe I would regret saying that but watching this story unfold was so thrilling!!Each character had their own problems and backgrounds, and the way the story came full circle on the second to last person his body entered to and then him entering his mothers body…what a plotwist!!!
Shows like this always keep me in check when I have bad thoughts and they make me realise that fighting through the bad will get me far. It really is not worth throwing life away over inconveniences that will one day end.
Very beautiful, I recommend it!!!

Gay people having a sad story once again
Coming into this film I knew that it’s not going to be some wholesome movie where two gay guys fall for each other and live a happy life. So a story between these two ensues and it’s extremely sad, and it delivers it well!Though I was confused sometimes if Birdy was gay at all or not, he just seemed to be a lil too comfortable with his friends (it’s confirmed he’s gay later though).
The movie wasn’t anything special in my opinion, I’ve seen plenty stories where two guys are in an environment where they can’t be who they are so an angsty romance story starts between them.
However the movie is really beautiful and well done in showing their love story. The one thing I liked most is how music is what connected them most and their song in the movie is actually the title of the movie (or just a lyric i’m not sure) but the song is beautiful and i’m definitely adding it to my spotify playlist.
I also appreciate how they made a timeskip and made their older versions reunite, it makes me hope that they continued their love- maybe not since they were hesitant with each other but I think in the end they did try again. Love never expires and i’m sure both of them were waiting to find each other again even after all the years that passed.
Anyway the story is really beautiful, I unfortunately have a very short time span so I kept pausing and stopping the movie which led me to finish it in 2 days so I couldn’t exactly bond with the characters on the level where I would cry on their sad scenes but watching the sad scenes I kept thinking to myself how hard I would cry if only I had connected to them better. Their sad scenes really do tug on your heartstrings.
So sad how love in different forms isn’t accepted. Beautiful film.

Get ready to cry
I knew what I was getting myself into when starting this, from seeing the sad edits of this movie on tiktok and instagram, I just knew I had to watch it.Despite this movie having a sad ending, it’ll also tell a beautiful story at the same time, and I knew that’s exactly what i’ll get, and I did!
It’s one of those movies that leave you heartbroken, or with that feeling you can’t really describe but you feel yourself grieving as if it’s you who’s going through it and not the characters.
Stories like these are heart wrenching, but it’s important to show these type of stories too. No matter how much you love someone, no matter how happy you once were with them, or how right it felt to be with them, when you’re not meant to be with someone, then you’re just not meant to be.
This story is something I connected with from my life, granted I didn’t have a marvellous ‘will they won’t they’ love story like they did, but some fragments of the story I could resonate with, and it’s true how you could go from loving someone and willing to fight to be with them, to having a fleeting moment of regret. It is something that will sneak up on you, no matter how many times you say you love this person.
On your wedding day was raw and funny and beautiful. It will make you cry…maybe, but it’ll most definitely leave you with an aching heart.
I rooted for them at the start and all the way till when they started dating, but once they broke up- I could just tell the spark wasn’t there anymore, and even if there were still unspoken feelings and longing ones too, there’s a moment that you allow yourself to see that this is not the person that will take a path with you but they will remain as a fond memory and that is equally beautiful too.
Very sad yet beautiful movie, watch it when you can!
