Fingers crossed it gets there cause this drama deserves it but also its much harder to reach 30k heat on tencent and 10k heat on iqiyi then Youku, Youku its much easier to reach 10k. For example, to reach 10k heat on Youku normally you only need around 30ish million viewers, but for 30k on tencent and 10k on iqiyi you need at least 40 million plus viewers minimum normally a lot more, so much easier to reach on Youku.

If some people are confused, in ep 25, when consort asks empress dowager what her childhood name is, she says Furong, one meaning of Furong in mandarin is hibiscus, like the flower. If you know you know.

Really did not see that twists coming god damn this show continues to surprise, god damn empress dowager is so scheming but at the same time consort is so smart as well. I knew consort would side with fl, at least a little bit, was never convinced she was a villain.

Very true, so sweet how they are both so caring and attentive around her, especially after realizing she's not fully healthy right now

The way he looks at her in ep 24 kills me, he shows so much emotion and care for fl, reassuring her instead of being confrontational or anything like that about what happened at the mountain. So well written and acted.

I agree for sure, feels more natural and realistic, no side just falling in love suddenly, you put it well, feels like a natural development

Just personally I don't consider it slow burn, I think some might but I consider it just really well paced, it feels steady, especially when it comes to the main relationship for me, as well as the overall plot. It feels like it goes at steady pace. It doesn't feel rushed but for me also don't feel slow burn. There like constant things happening, especially under the surface, its not like flashy and super fast paced, but also doesn't feel stagnant or slow. Theres always something going on but often it's more subtle and thought out.

It's very sad, just makes you realize how she went through probably so much and has no idea and so true, very similar to that movie for sure. Next minute we find out she has a completely evil personality hahaha

Hahaha yeh was her, from the way I look at it, likely both Qing shuang and master Zhu were people close to fl. Qing shuang was like her emotional support/companion when she was alive, master Zhu told her marital arts, so in times when fl needs emotional support Qing shuang appears keeping her company, and when fl is inseirous danger master Zhu appears, thats type of thing. But in fact it's just fl the whole time.

I feel that, we know the rule in cdramas, no body no death. I think it's curious we only saw like a covered up body thats all.

Yeh I get, little brother that wanted attention from his big brother but just didn't know the right way to go about it. Both of them just suffering from a trash father.

Thank you best wishes

I feel this, when he ran out and shouted at Qin cang trying to save him, that was so unexpected, I gained a little respect for him that moment

Thank you best wishes

The empress dowager did, when she rose to power, fl's grandfather and lishan academy opposed it so they closed their doors, shutting themselves in the mountain as an act of defiance. In response empress dowager sealed the mountain, placing guards and stuff outside, not letting anyone in or out unless with permission.

Hahaha ikr ending so sweet, they're giving us sweetness now only for the angst to come but we'll survive somehow

100 percent I think she'll get done for framing fl for killing the princess very quickly and she'll be screwed

You'll love the end of ep 23 don't worry but after that, I feel angst is coming for sure

Hahaha 100 percent, haters are always ready and waiting haha

But yeh they made it clear now so glad that of that but damn yeh the previews are intense right now haha

Yeh I agree, saw those comments but they can believe what they want and didn't really want to go back and forth with them like you mentioned, but I totally agree she's acted different/closer with him then anyone else since day 1.

100 percent I feel sometime we're so used to the typical cdrama love that is like what you mentioned, I will die for you type of love, that when theres something different some people don't see it as live when it clearly is just a different type of love. Your example are really good show her love clearly.
