The atheistic and camera work for this drama is great so far. The director's have a great resume and it shows. Love the colors and shadows they use, especially for the FL intro when she met the doctor and her sword dance. Great camera work, use of shadow and lighting and choreo.

Love the A Journey to Love vibe FL is giving off, especially ep 1 fight scene so good. Huge fan of Li Qin and she carries herself so well in the drama. Love seeing CZY as a ruthless character, like a juiced up version of his character from Mr Bad. So refreshing to see he has no worries about killing his enemies, he is who he is, and is not shy of showing it.

Dear sister, so naive, but I understand. I want to blame her but since we know ML also falls for FL, I can't blame her for liking someone from the enemy country.

Love how innocent the second prince is, hope he stays that way and isn't corrupted by his mother. I can't get a read on his father/emperor. Seems like he doesn't care and is an emotionless leader, but he shows hints of caring for his son, that make me question it.

The mystery also pretty intriguing, why was FL betrayed? Also intrigued about the Prime minster, he seems like a more complex villain with a deep backstory, compared to the typical minister that just wants the throne,

I'm excited yet anxious to see more of 2ml, and I have to say this again, please don't be like you were in princess royal.

Love that the OST doesn't overpower scenes, complements scenes so well and fits the mood.

We recently had a scene with like ML's business competitor got arrested, maybe or may not have been set up by ML, but not sure from that clip if it's him. I think down the line we will have more arrests. And yeh I agree as well, the final scene we haven't seen yet in the drama, and him and FL signing contract together, seems like after they have made up, and he rises again.

Don't want to spoil too much, but for now the lawyer actually is on ML's side, he hired him to deal with Fang Lei, pretty much threaten her to stay away from him. But 100%, can't wait to see Fang Lei's downfall, when you watch I'm sure you'll feel the same, she's very aggravating.

We finally got the wiping off makeup scene in ep 15. Beautifully acted by ZLS, the raw emotion, the tears, all of it was so good. You could see her hurt, her pain, but also how tired she is of all the lies and everything. Such a great symbolic scene, showing her wiping of her makeup, symbolizing her getting rid of her mask, wiping away all the lies and starting fresh, just like her bare, makeup-less face. Maybe not as 'sophisticated' as before, but clean and fresh. Really symbolic and emotional.

100% I really hope not, we've seen too many obsessed 2ml and 2fl's already. Like I said. I don't mind if he likes fl at the start, but don't be an obsessed freak about it and once it's clear she rejects you or likes someone else, move on. But would be best if theres no 2ml crushing on FL at all.

I'll give it a read, and 100% yeh, hope that doesn't happen here. Would be refreshing to see ML and 2ML actually working together against a greater enemy. And for 2ml to let go of FL respectfully. I mean look at MR, don't wanna even wanna talk about how they turned 2ml into a freak compared to the novel.

Yep saw princess royal, hope he's not as annoying here, thats such a funny name for him. He is a king, that answers to the emperor, so it's more an honorary title. I skimmed the last few chapters of the novel, novel wise, it seems he's a good guy that eventually teams up with ML. So doesn't seem too bad in the novel, I hope they don't pull a LOTFG and change the 2ml form the novel and make him an obsessed freak.

I really like the doctor character, don't get me wrong, she's strong and a really likable character. But at the same time, a little hypocritical how she deals with ML vs FL. She is super scared of ML because he killed a bunch of people at her doctor place where killing is not allowed. I get that, but it was like 10 v 1 and they were dressed as assassins, pretty sus, so idk how you blame him.

While she idolizes FL for doing the exact same, killing a bunch of black clothed assassins 10 v1 in the forest. One she fears as a psycho killer, the other she loves as a big sister.

I get her view that ML did it at the doctor's place where no violence is allowed, and she doesn't have context for it. But surely you give the guy that was fighting 10 v 1 the benefit of the doubt like you did with FL.

Don't get me wrong though, love her character, just thought that was a bit unfair for ML. Not that he cares 😂
