It was a really short flashback so don't know for sure but they did seem lovey lovey, she was leaning on his shoulder as they relaxed and talked all cute together. So seemed like they were already together for a while.

I think the guy who shot off the cliff with the crossbow, is the same soldier that was searching for her, that went to the doctor's place (not the assassin dude that dressed up as a wounded solider and stalks her), the guy that was an official solider that lead a bunch of soldiers too search for her at the doctors place. The one who reports back to Xu Jing Shi. He seems sus to me. And it said she was betrayed by someone close to her.

FL following ML in ep 6, because she can sense something is wrong, when even his closest guard can't, just shows how in tune they are with each other, after so little time. They understand each other so quickly.

Yeh he is definitely in love with FL, in flashback we saw he and FL were to be engaged, he proposed, she accepted but said to wait after the battle. And yeh, ML tells his sister, she's naive, the guy she's marrying is the enemy, can't be trusted, but she literally said thats because he hasn't met me, I can't change him, which sounds super naive to me. But like you said she'll give it her best since ML will also fall for his enemy, I can't blame her.

Yes you are right, she begs ML to let her go and marry him, thats why in my comment just below I mentioned I find her naive but also understand her choice. She fell in love with him at first sight, even though he is the enemy, she tell's her brother she can change him, which I find a bit naive but since its that type of show, I'm sure she actually will change him. And since ml and fl get together from opposing countries, I can't blame her, even when ML says they are enemies, since he will do the same.

I hope he'e not as bad in this. Won't judge him too early, I expect him to be a 2ml in love with FL from what we've seen, but hopefully not crazy obsessed.

FL, especially in ep 1 gives me heavy A Journey to love vibes and I love it. Haven't seen Li Qin in a drama since joy of life 2. I'm a huge fan of her but just skipped her last 2 as they weren't for me. She's great in this, she looks amazing, honestly doesn't age, and her fight scenes are brilliant.

Fan of ML as well, so good seeing him in a domineering ruthless, role. Weirdly reminds me of how he was in Mr Bad, just more ruthless which I love. He pulls it off brilliantly. He acts with a lot of nuance, he's ruthless yet you can tell he's kind deep down with a painful past.

Love the second prince, so innocent and kind, idolizing his brother. Hope he stays that way.

Princess, I like but also super naive. But since ML and FL we know will be together, I can't really get mad at her for her love choice, even though I feel for ML. I understand her choice.

2ml, same dude from Princess royal. Please, please don't aggravate me as much.

Overall though, insane start. Action packed, first episode super bloody, just how I like it. And the chemistry is on fire. Cinematography is beautiful especially with the fight scenes in ep 1 and the under water scene. OST is really good as well, complement the scenes super well.

God bless the innocent second prince man, may he always stay so innocent and kind. Don't let him be corrupted by his foolish mother.
