I do agree with that, the novel did a good job of that. Personally, I always enjoy when the angst and drama is left out of the main relationship, I always prefer a main relationship with less drama and misunderstandings. Leave the angst and the drama to the main plot, the good vs evil battle whatever it may be. But thats just my personal preference, I know some people like when there's lots of angst and stuff in the relationship, and there's nothing wrong with that. I do agree though personally, hope it doesn't last long but from previews, seems to last at least last till ep 19. I feel like it's pretty obvious her cousin is being used as the tool to make ML realise his feelings and like pursue her. Though I do agree, wish it happened in a more natural way.

I get you, however I just think it's too soon, plus they're cousins so she has to show him some face. She did mention she's suspicious of him and also she's using him to make MZY jealous. But I get you, I hope she draws a clear line. In the novel she confronts him and rejects him straight to his face. Hope we see something similar.

Seems like in the ep 19 preview we seem him in a good one on one fight. Also I think once his identity is fully exposed we will get some proper good fights with him. Hopefully it happens soon.

Ikr, so creepy so fast, Especially dressing similar to the MZY on purpose, that was really creepy to me. And obviously all the incense stuff and trying to kiss WZ. Actor did a good job pulling it off like you said.

God damn Pei Jiya is a scum bag, he effectively drugs WZ with that incense or scented candle or whatever, dresses similar to MZY and tried to kiss WZ while she's hallucinating that he was MZY. Pretty much drugs her so he can kiss her while she thinks he's MZY. Just one of a few scumbag acts in an episode and a half. So hate-able, so quickly. Good acting on his part though ngl.

Just my own personal story, I watched this drama shortly after my mother died, and honestly was the most healing experience, helped me heal a lot. It's not an angsty drama, or action packed, and some may say doesn't even have a real plot. The romance is very good but subtle and slow, more realistic than idolized (but still very romantic and hot at times). However, it's the perfect slice of life/healing show in my opinion. Will always be a go too of mine and something I re-watch constantly. So calming and healing, as perfect as it gets for me.

I just watched Zhao Qing in immortal ascension and she's in the double, she's so talented. And obviously, Xu Kai goes through so many scandals that always get proven fake it's ridiculous. He honestly just needs a full time lawyer at this point, quite sad.

I gotta say that scene with ML going through the barrier tear was pretty cool. CGI as always looks so good and that tear looked awesome. ML's first steps into demon city all because of the rat dude tearing the barrier, kind of ironic. I think things will just keep heating up from here, now that he's finally step foot into the demon night market. Slowly but surely they're both inching closer to finding each others identities.

Screw the haters man, #1 on Maoyan yesterday, #3 on Yunhe for the 21st, and the two shows before it, Thriving land ends today and LOTFG has ended with express and MR already almost beat it in views on the 21st. MR is way ahead of 4th on Yunhe. Haters can try but this is destined to be top on most if not all charts very soon
