I understand, he can still get award recognition even if it's not blockbuster, many dramas get awards that are not blockbusters, but I know what you mean. There is still time, and I think views will increase, but right now views are not high enough for it to be called a blockbuster in china. There is still time though.

As long as you enjoy the drama thats what's important, don't worry about blockbuster or not. Unfortunately viewership isn't that high right now like dramabuff said but thats ok, just enjoy it, I am also enjoying it.

I'm hoping since he's going to get kicked from the sect soon, once he finds out the truth that will lesson the misunderstandings as he's not with Changxi palace anymore. Because honestly FL probably won't care, seems like thats her character, so will be on ML's side how long the misunderstandings go for. Or better yet in the novel when they find out, they don't care at all, they still love each other and move on without second though, so would be nice if the drama did the same. Maybe WZS will use fragments of the rock/bone to infect her. Just like how a little bit went into his head when they destroyed it, maybe he will use it to infect her with the evil smoke. But you're right all guess for right now, need a more solid foundation. Too much mystery about who the true villain is and what happened 18 years ago, need answers. Also worth noting, I saw the uniform of ML's sect is same or very similar to what the clocked guy's uniform looks like when we saw his arm, so more confirmation he is ML's big brother. As for side plots I agree would like more focus on main story, but unfortunately I had a look at the relationship chart and seems of the cases listed we've had 4 maybe 5, still got 3-4 to go, hopefully they're related to the main story and not side plots again.

Yeh I haven't been on MDL that long, first page I was on like consistently everyday was with coroner's diary and everyone was so nice, even when discussing different opinions. But I guess you're right different fandoms and all that.

Yeh WCS did say something like, it doesn't matter who I am or whatever, all that matters is her. So he only cares about her, and I think once ML and FL get married or engaged, he's going to full on loose it. You're right with the 2/3 wheels thing, not to mention the 3 other demon elders, they always just give me a bad vibe but Idk what side they're on or if they're even important, need more clarity soon. I'm hoping the heartbreak isn't some nonsense misunderstanding between ML and FL that breaks them up or starts a Cold War, ep 31 is way too late for that. I hope it's when they learn the truth and maybe signifies FL heartbreak over betrayal by WCS.

I agree with that you said about classics, everyone's opinion differs of course. But as long as it's enjoyable and entertaining thats all you need. Not everything can be a classic and thats ok. I find this drama really entertaining and l'm always looking forward to what comes next, and from a drama thats all you need. Love the chemistry between ML and FL. If people disagree thats ok, dramas are subjective. Solid review, hope you don't get unnecessary hate from it, because it's a fair review and everyone's opinions differ.

Holy shit, that scene is intense and I love it, making me sweat, based on the airing calendar, should happened during ep 25-26.

I think WCS maybe has some sort of split personality due to the fire 18 years ago, it was said the person that caused it burned to death so maybe a part of him got destroyed during that fire and fight with the previous cats master but slowly remembering, or maybe he is just possessed. I agree, whole lot of evil, WCS, the big brother, the rat dude (I wish they killed him honestly, I know didn't want her to be a murderer, show her as sympathetic and that living weakly was a worst punishment, but just to get rid of future troubles), also I'm a little sus about the prison door we saw, like is it really empty, I feel like somethings inside, maybe the hole he pours stuff into. But yeh as we pass half way we need to focus on becoming clearer who is the real threat, cause we have guesses but still not sure. AndI agree it will be a combo fighting together, like humans and demons coming together to fight evil, then in the future living together peacefully alongside each other type thing.

I agree, I hope we see ML get back at him, I also think he's involved, I think the evil smoke connects to WZS somehow, and thus ML's big brother also somehow connected to WZS and 18 years ago. For some reason though I feel like the show is setting up this big brother as the second villain and is setting up for Shuang Jiang to take him down from within the sect, cause tbh Shuang Jiang has done nothing at all this whole show. For a junior brother from the Changxi palace as well, he has to do something, been pretty useless so far. So even though I hope ML takes him on, I think he's being set up for Shuang Jiang to take down, and WZS will be taken down by ML and FL as the main villain.

I agree, his lips and like jaw is the same, I recognize the actor but can't remember his name, what was it again? I feel like also in the upcoming episodes we see ML being taken back to his sect to be punished and kicked out, I think his big brother wants this, probably fears ML's powers a bit, wants him out of the sect without its support, then can frame him as like a demon sympathizer type thing if he needs to
