Damn really 1k lower then same time yesterday, maybe the Xu Kai nonsense is really effecting this drama in mainland…
I was told that Yu Zheng , Xu Kai's manage admitted they dated. I don't really follow any actor/actresses private lives though so unsure. My bad if it's not true. Either way, even if she is his ex or not nothing wrong with dating and, where I'm from someone is innocent until proven guilty and Xu Kai is not even close to being proven guilty of anything, so I hope his lawyers protect him well and everyone realizes this is likely just fake news people are using to hurt his rep.

If you scroll under xu kai's profile on mdl you will see, his ex girlfriend Xu Lisha, came out and accused him publicly of cheating on her in 2022 with Zhao Qing the actress. She released photos and videos and stuff. So he's getting a lot of hate now, thus the downvoting. And negative stuff about Xu Kai is blowing up on weibo hot search apparently. Look in the comments of Xu Kai's profile on mdl for more info. Honestly, just seems like his ex and some haters trying to ruin his reputation.
Whoever wants to know, current heat index is 25k, which exactly 1k lower at the same time than yesterday.
Damn really 1k lower then same time yesterday, maybe the Xu Kai nonsense is really effecting this drama in mainland china, hoping it wouldn't, hoping most people would be smart enough to ignore it
I'm worried what Mei Zhu Yu is going to do after confirming Wu Zhen's a half demon
Ikr same, I mentioned something similar below, like I know it will work out between them in the end, but I hope in between him finding out and them making up, we don't get too much sadness 😂
She didn't have conclusive evidence, Xu Kai already reported her. Later she even changed her claim that pictures…
Yu Zheng, Xu Kai's manager admitted Xu Lisha is his ex. She is for sure his ex, which is no problem. No problems with him dating but now she accused him of cheating on her in 2022. Not sure if it's true. I don't think it is, but we will see.

Yes, his agent Yu Zheng admitted they were dating, he did date Xu Lisha, but no one knows if he cheated or not, no proper evidence that he actually cheated
Ep12: That duel was one of the best fight scenes I've seen in a cdrama. Legit 11 minutes of pure cinematic experience.…
100% so well done, the choreo especially was so nice, and the large cat and rat looked so good. Like I feel in some shows that CGI could have looked really bad/tacky, but they made it look so good and clean
The novel has no conflicts, plot, or mysteries, but the drama does.
I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes. Conflicts are good, but they should be meaningful, and there are already many conflicts.
And of course meaning comes from how it's resolved thus I am unsure of this conflict. I said previously I hope it has a deeper meaning, rather then just surface based, caused to create angst then brushed aside. Conflict differs and I am unsure about this one because I hope it's meaningful. I hope it causes growth between Changxi and demons, leads to meaningful development, not just cheap angst then dismissed.
Your point kind of supports my points I believe, conflict like you mentioned, resolved meaningfully is good, but conflict for the sake of conflict and cheap angst is not. Thus, I am unsure how I feel about this conflict, therefore my original post voicing my opinion.
Not sure, almost 24k now. Normally starts low and increases when the episode airs, it will start going up a lot now, but not sure about 27k today. But if not today on weekend I think it will get, heat index often higher on weekend.

Yeh I know thats why I said I like a lot of the changes they made, but not sure about this one. Unsure if the conflict is necessary with everything else going on but we'll see what happens. I'm just hoping it's not a conflict for conflicts sake. Hope it has deeper meaning. And the novel did have mysteries, they were just a few, not that complex and not central to the story, but definitely had mysteries.
After all the gossip and ratings talk back to drama talk. One thing I'm unsure about in the drama is the conflict between Changxi palace and the demons compared to the novel. They've made a lot of changes which I like, a lot of changes have been really good and interesting, but something I'm still unsure about is the change they made regarding changxi palace. In the novel, WZ actually knew Shuang jiang previously, they had met previously and were similar to allies, he knew about her true identify. In the novel there was no major conflict between Changxi palace and the demon night market. So I'm unsure about this change in the drama where they are like Fire and Water with each other. Some may say it fits more with the taoist teachings and overall story, that its more suitable. Maybe it's the part of me that hopes for less misunderstandings and more ML and FL working together, but I'm unsure how I feel about this change. Regardless, really looking forward to seeing where it goes, I'm not one to judge too early, and either way it makes me look forward to the episodes to come! I wonder what everyone else is thinking so far? Personally, I feel conflict should be meaningful, lead to development or growth or something substantial, not just cheap angst or drama. I hope they resolve this conflict meaningfully. So far though I have faith, I believe the writing has been really good so far, just my opinion though.
