Idk if anyone has posted this, but here's a YouTube link to episode 19 of the Chinese variety show Laugh Together, this episode features Xu Kai and Tian Xi Wei along with other Chinese actors and stars. I believe it was part of their promo for Moonlit Reunion. You can turn on English subs on YouTube and they're not bad. There's 5 parts each about 20mins long if you wanna watch the whole episode. It's great to see Xu Kai and TXW together in a different environment showcasing their great chemistry. Pretty cute and funny interactions. Might add it in discussion for future people interested.

Decided to start this after having a quick binge rewatch of love like galaxy last few days and watching moonlit reunion and the first thing I see a few minutes in is the emperor Bao Jian Feng from both those shows haha unexpected but great to see love him as an actor

I think it has a good chance tonight, at least 27k, but hopeuflly 28. With LOTFG ending yesterday, it will get a lot more viewers today. Yesterday already saw a big, big jump in viewers on yunhe which it definitely deserves. Good chance tonight I reckon to see an increase in heat index, hopefully.

100% agree, Xu kai looks good in any state pretty much lets be real, they all do and definitely makes the characters look more real, adds depth.

Yeh definitely good improvement, also LOTFG ends today and thriving land ends on the 23rd, so numbers for this will only go up I think. Deserves it for sure.

I'm not saying anything looks bad but you can see Xu Kai's dark circles and stubble on his upper lip in a few scenes, especially the night scenes under candle light. This adds to his character. Might be the camera work or lack of filter, but either way it's not a bad thing. Ofcourse it looks fine, it looks better than fine it looks good! Many shows have zoom, but they use filters to cover dark circles and stubble etc, but not here and thats good! I'm saying it's a good thing not a bad thing. Again, it's only natural to have dark circles after working their schedule and pretty much every guy has stubble, I don't know why you think it's a bad thing, of course they still look amazing. But a lot of dramas use filters to cover these things, but not this one. And its refreshing and nice to see.

Yeah exactly, as do most cdramas film late but in this one they didn't cover up the dark circles with filters which is often the case, which adds to the character. Not flaws like you said, they're deinfitely not flawed at all, but blemishes such as dark circles (idk if even blemishes the right work, not negative in anyway but can't think of a better word) are often covered by filters, same as stubble, which they didn't do here. Smart choice, whether is camera work or a reduced filter.

I have to say I’m not sure if it’s the camera work or lack of filter or both, but I like seeing the actors blemishes and details of their faces up close. Seeing Xu Kai’s stubble and dark circles under his eyes occasionally, adds to his character I feel. Makes him feel even more like a Taoist cultivator that works late every night, doesn’t sleep much and doesn’t care too much about his appearance sometimes. The filters used in other dramas I feel like I’ve gotten use to, so seeing so much detail on their faces and blemishes that would normally be covered up, is refreshing. Makes them feel more real if that makes sense. Btw, this is no hate on Xu Kai's or anyones looks, god knows they looks amazing, but can't think of better word for blemishes.

I click on the tencent link above, takes you to the Chinese tencent website, you can watch previews without subs. Not sure if it works for everyone but thats the only way I know to watch previews for this show, bit annoying and no subs which sucks but still good to see
