the story so far is really good and interesting, the cinematography is absolutely beautiful. i just wish youtube uploads are a bit faster, because waiting for next episode is torture

i have love hate vibe towards li chengyin, i hate him 95% i like him 5%. he is so despicable and imperfect yet i like him.
everytime xiaofeng comes onscreen i want to cry. being repeatedly used, exploited, no one tried to understand her. everyone forcing their opinion on her, invalidating her feelings.
i don't even have 1% pity on gu jian. I hate that man
acting and soundtracks are really good.
overall a really nice drama. i rarely get to finish cdramas even though i watch a lot of them because they tend to drag and i give up in the middle but gmp is really really good. 52 episodes didn't feel like 52 at all.
okay this maybe the best cdrama i have watched in 2018, fell in love with almost all the characters, there was no one i could hate, or dislike. started out liking sima yi and liu ping, ended up admiring Guo jia and Cao Cao more. i felt somehow attached to almost all the characters. this is such a beautiful drama, nothing felt extra or inadequate. top notch acting. beautifully done direction and cinematography. no cringy cgi. just amazing
in my opinion one of the best drama of 2018, there wasn't a single moment where i felt bored, top notch acting, loved the suspense and mystery, i hope there will be a second season.
didn't like the ost that much, but other than that amazing amazing drama. 10/10
can anyone tell me what exactly happens in episode 24, with muyun sheng and the king? did he really come back to life? the subs doesn't match the content ????????
subbers took the Sunday off ???? but I'm happy that at least 16 episodes are subbed.been waiting forever... such a good drama, good storyline, great costumes and a great cast. loved their acting. my only problem is with the editing, why do the memories or flashback have to be in full version, i wish they had montaged the flashbacks instead of showing the whole thing we have seen already
