They need to work hard for this 18+ content rating and we're all here for it! 😁
I actually think the way they are behaving is more realistic than in 90% of the BLs I've watched. This is exactly how two young men in their late teens or early twenties would behave when newly coupled and madly in love. They would be all over each other like Khemtis and Wela are. Plz more of it!
The actors are certainly giving it their all. The kisses outside the club were fire, and they are not trying to kiss with their bodies carefully not touching - quite the opposite, in fact.
It's actually two more I'm waiting for. My Golden Blood, which hasn't started filming, and Peaceful Property, because there's no way I'm missing a TayNew show, be it BL or not. This one is filming, but they are at the beginning.
So glad two from my three most anticipated gmmtv series (Only Boo and We Are) this year are going to air simultaneously. Last year, I had less luck, because Only Friends aired in August and Cherry Magic last in December.
I can't wait for this new cute couple! I'm also excited to see Aun again, because I adored him with Fiat in My Gear and Your Gown. Hopefully he'll have the same chemistry with the new partner.
I'm so glad I started and kept on with this, it hasn't disappointed me so far. Episodes 6 and 7 especially were great! Krom and Fueang are both very likable characters who are open and honest to each other, a rarety in BL.
The second episode got me really excited for the side couple, I rewatched their scenes, the accidental kiss (which was well done, a rarety) and the two almost kisses several times. I'm not sure what to think of the hinted love triangle, because I simply want them to stop teasing me and kiss already. Anyway, for me it's clear that Seiji is into Japan and not into Ken.
I expected the Khemtis/Wela thing to happen a little later, but they are not losing any time, are they? OK, Khemtis was already head over heels from the beginning, but I didn't expect Wela to give in so fast. It makes sense, though, because it seems that the series will be about the struggle to remain a couple in this environment, and of course the fact that Khemtis is hiding who his mother is will be a problem in the future.
I loved the show, it was different. I was anticipating it every week and loved not being able to predict what will happen. Some characters were better developed than others, but in general, it delivered.
The ending didn't satisfy me, though, but this is because I personally hate open endings. I prefer being shown what really happened, be it good or bad. I need closure, so this ending was not for me. But in general, the show was very good and together with Cherry Magic, my most anticipated Saturday show. Now there's nothing to watch on Saturdays anymore.
OMG the trailer completely fooled me. I thought Khem was going to see Wela in his mother's club first and then realise the guy is in the same university as him... but nope, Khem was totally into Wela long before he saw him in the club, the club is only his ways and means to finally get close to him. The guy is so gone for, I love it. I'm very into watching someone so obviously besotted, infatuated and crazy in lust like Khem, so this is totally to my taste.
And look, Ohm from Destiny Seeker! Always happy to see someone from that BL, underappreciated as it was.
Will post a review tomorrow, after rewatching and when I'm more coherent.
At least now we know why the TV version had no subs, it was cut considerably, the episode is over an hour long. Watch the uncut version!
I will only say now that Tay and New have ascended to my favourite acting pairing, and I never thought I'd say this before, and yes, I'd watched both Kiss Me Again and Dark Blue Kiss before Cherry Magic. They were spectacular here, everything was on point - their acting, emotions, tears, adoration, feelings, believability, chemistry, kisses. They have improved so much in their acting together and I really don't think anyone else would've delivered better than them. Thank you, casting directors.
Gmmtv, please, release a DVD-box for Cherry Magic, me wants it. Desperately.
I don't know which show to watch after this ends. I have no interest in the GL series, I'm still waiting for My…
Yeah, Cherry Magic will be replaced by another rerun (Dirty Laundry). I don't understand why they won't release The Trainee, filming is over. Are they worried people won't watch another OffGun so soon after Cooking Crush?
It's my dream to include a wedding scene in every BL drama. However, for the pioneering actors in the BL genre,…
I actually agree, I think it's very likely that this is the last TayNew series with them playing a couple, which makes me very sad, because their chemistry and interactions together have improved a lot (IMO) since Dark Blue Kiss and I'd love to see them again. I'd be happy to be proven wrong someday, but as of now, this is what I think and what I've prepared myself for.
Phee doesn't even seem to be mad after knowing what Jin has done. I mean like WTF 😒!!
Phee likes Jin and was never in for revenge, he just felt guilty (he said it himself) about what he said to Non when they broke up, so it makes sense. The one seeking revenge is Tan, Phee sort of tags along.
I suspect that Phee would've had a harder time forgiving about the video if it had been someone else, not Jin, but maybe it's just my bias.
Fluke has completely missed the memo about what it means to be a doctor. Generally, you're supposed to help people, not kill them.
I was wrong about Fluke shooting Top at the end of episode 4, but he ended up being the one to kill him anyway, so I'll count it as me being right about it after all.
Why was Top still drugged out of his mind after so many hours, is this a permanent drug unless you're given that antidote TanNew mentioned previoulsy?
I'm very impressed with the actor who plays Fluke and hope to see him again, he's doing a great job.
The big revalation about Phee and Jin was not a big deal for either of them. Neither seems to care that much about what the other one has done. :D
I see why so many people are rooting for TanNew, but if he indeed was the one to get the uncle who had nothing to do with it decapitated in that horrible way, he's as bad as the rest of them.
I wasn't expecting all the bad reviews, but TayNew are one of my fave ships so I still wanna give this a chance.…
Most people like this and the majority of the comments are actually positive. Don't rely just on the comments here, read some reviews on tumblr and you'll see. Ignore the Japanese version fans, they were negative before this was even done, and just watch and decide for yourself.
I like both versions for different reasons, but even I'm starting to get tired of the comparisions, it's annoying. And it's only happening here, I haven't seen anyone going to the Japanese version comment section to bash it and say how much better this one is. And there are enough people who like this one better, trust me, I adore this show and have read many reviews, on many sites. The majority likes it. :)

I'm sold. ;)
I'm also interested in AouBoom.

This didn't age well at all. :D
BTW, their intimate scenes here are way better than in their previous series. PeteKao could never do it quite like that.
