I was even asking myself why an actor would ever accept the role of Sunny.. Is the real life actor as desperate…
This actor has actually had several different roles, this is not his first one. I've seen him in Dead Friend Forever (where he played the role of the most innocent character) and in 4 Minutes, where he played someone seeking revenge for the death of his brother. He was convincing every time. As far as I'm concerned, he can continue doing versatile roles.
I think Sunny and his backer have to be vilest characters I've seen in a series for a very long time. Both of them have to die, I don't accept any other punishment.
Sun, on the contrary, is my hero, I adore him to pieces.
The age gap in the series is 7 years, but both are adults. IMO, it's actually a good thing that the actors have about the same age gap as the characters.
I swear Big Jane looked happy to be shot just to get Jane to worry about him and hug him. He was smiling in that scene. I checked twice, he really looked genuinely happy. Was he hoping something like that would happen, because otherwise, it wasn't very smart to bring his very much not involved in dark stuff boyfriend to that shady place with him. I was surprised Jane didn't freak out more than he did.
I'm not sure which one of them is more emotional, but Big Jane could certainly follow his own rule. The SA scene was even worse than the one in the previous episode. He also goes around hitting everyone who dares to approach Jane, and was definitely way more emotional than Jane in the last episode when he flew into a rage every time he saw Jane with Dan.
So Big Jane's plan is to get Jane to stay with him through the contract and as long as Jane stays put and doesn't try to leave him, he would treat him like a real boyfriend?
After begging for 6 episodes for Xiaofan to grow some spine, he finally did and left that horrible toxic environment that was suffocating him. Good for him, now I can finally start to enjoy this show.
His family is all around horrible, but the brother is by far the worst.
putt putt golf and danny boy need to go away.. they are basically the red flags... dont you see how they always…
I completely agree! Big Jane became all possessive and crazy only after Jane broke up with him because of those two. He was the best boyfriend ever to Jane before Put and Dan got involved in their relationship. Their motivation is still nebulous to me - is it really only about liking Jane or is it more about refusing to let big Jane to have a little happiness in his life or a combination of both?
Little Jane has really bad luck with the people he surrounds himself with. They all want something from him and don't really care much about what he wants.
Now the real question is: did big Jane orchestrate what happened to Jane's brother in order to get what he wanted, knowing very well that Jane wouldn't ask for anything for himself but would for his family or did the brother act stupidly on his own and big Jane got lucky by coincidence?
Ep 1, 2 and the special clip have all been updated btw
I'm afraid to rewatch episode 2, even with improved subs, to be honest. ;) But thanks, it's nice to know they were paying attention. It's not right for a paid streaming service to have subs that bad.
Why are so many of you defending Big Jane? What about my little Jane ðŸ˜? Listen, ik you guys think Little Jane…
Just the mere fact that little Jane spent the entire episode 3 being horrified of his own boyfriend is reason enough to break up with him. It was glaringly obvious he was afraid. This is not how you wanna feel when you're in love. Even if I understand big Jane's point, I still understand why little Jane acted the way he did. He saw his boyfriend with his hands around his best friend's neck, threatening him. How else was he supposed to react?
It's a completely different matter that he should try to understand big Jane's motives, which I agree with.

And why isn't anyone in this show to give the sister a good scolding? There is something very wrong with her.
If Put indeed likes Jane, why would he be okay with him dating Dan but not big Jane? Either way it's not him.

If Sun doesn't get a revenge on Sunny, someone else will, he's so despicable.
