Yes, he adopts Tiantian and then meets Fan Xiao months later in the pharmacy, by accident.
If the translation of the book I've read is correct, the active separation of Shulang and Fan Xiao was not 3 years, but less, about 2 (or a little less) years in total. The timeline of 3 years includes their entire story from meeting, coming together, separation, and reuniting.
You Shulang meets with Tiantian's mother and with Bai Ting in the dumplings shop about 6 months after Fan Xiao finally sets him free. Between him meeting Fan Xiao in the pharmacy and then in the Thai restaurant there are several months.
I have a question. In episode 1, Fan Xiao and You Shu Lang saved a baby after he was dropped from several stories…
Everything in the novel happens within 3 years. The baby was at least 6 months old when they saved him, he had little teeth. He should be about 3,5 years old when Shulang adopts him.
I felt that in episode 13, Shulang, together with rebuilding his life and career, finally got to mourn the love he's lost, because Fan Xiao's actions after breaking up never gave him the possibility to do so before.
Of course, now that he can breathe again, without having to think about what Fan Xiao will do next to keep him there, it's obvious that he loves the crazy psycho anyway.
Tiantian is so cute, and he and Shulang are very adorable as a father and son!
I have to mention how awesome the women in this story are, all of them! The three mothers, Bai Ting and President Shi all have my heart and respect! Even Fan Bo's ex-wife sounds awesome, considering how her husband, in a real Fan brother fashion, tried to keep her married to him.
guys how and when did FX and YS saved the child tian name reminds me of revenged love drama
In the first episode, in the hospital.
The mother was desperate that the child (a baby at the time) was sick and she had no money to treat him and was threatening to jump from the stairs with him. On Shulang's initiative, Shulang and Fan Xiao caught the child in a blanket when it fell down and saved it. Later, Fan Xiao mentioned that he has paid for the child's treatment.

I can try, but I'm warning you that these are the ones I like and you might end up not liking all of them.
I'm not a big fan of Japanese BLs, but I can absolutely recommend Eternal Yesterday and Our Youth. I think that because you like To My Shore, you're going to like these two BL dramas, too. Both are dark and deal with different depressing issues. Warning: Eternal Yesterday doesn't have a happy ending, but I recommend to give it a try anyway, it's one of the few BLs that have made me cry.
I'm generally a fan of South Korean BLs, although this year most of them were disappointing. My favourite was Secret Relationships, which, again, you might like if you like To My Shore, it deals with obssessive love and toxic relationships. Another darker ones I liked were Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo and Cherry Blossoms Afer Winter. If you want to try something lighter, I absolutely adored Our Dating Sim, Semantic Error, Light On Me and my absolute favourite, Love for Love's Sake, which had some dark elements, but presented in a different way.
Very popular ones I didn't like that much were the Eighth Sense and the recently completed Thundercloud Rainstorm. Both have darker themes and from what I can see, they have worked for many people.
There aren't many Chinese BLs, but from the few available, except from this one, I recommend Revenged Love. It's the best BL ever for many and although I find TMS better, there's a good reason why people liked RL so much. You can also try KIll to Love. It's historical and very similar to TMS, dark and disturbing.
I'm also a fan of Thai BLs, no matter what people say. The problem is that Thailand brings out the most numerous BLs every year when compared to other countries, which means that there are some very good, but also some you've wished you've never seen. Thai BLs are also written a little differently and sometimes you might feel that they drag. I can absolutely recommend Love Mechanics (the long version from 2022, because there are two different ones). It's toxic and painful, but again, we're watching TMS, so we can take it. If you want more darker recs, you can try 4 Minutes, Dead Friend Forever, Khemjira (horror elements) and The Bangkok Boy. If you like comedy, I absolutely recommend the currently airing Me and Thee, it's very, very funny. For something not that dark I recommend Cherry Magic (there is also the Japanese original, but I like the Thai version better), I Feel You Linger in the Air (historical and really, really well done) and ThamePo Heart that Skips a Beat.
Very popular and liked Thai BLs that I likes well enough but wouldn't count to my favourites are My School President and Last Twilight.
The Taiwanese BL that I would recommend to anyone is The On1y One. Unfortunately, only the first part of the book has been adapted and the second season has been cancelled, so it ended at a very unfortunate place. Still, it's so good that I would encourage you to give it a try if you don't mind open endings. The other Taiwanese BL I loved was See Your Love. The start is a little slow, but if you want to try it, stick with it, it gets better.

You're really very lucky to pick this one as your first BL. I've watched a lot of them, and this is honestly the best BL this year, IMO. It's not only the complex characters and the great acting, it's also the amazing cinematography and the directing that make it stand out.
I consider myself lucky with my first BL, too, back in 2022. Just don't expect all of them to be good if you decide to try another one.
I want to say one important thing - working with his mentor and doing pharma research has always been Shulang's dream job. At the moment, he would never accept any favours from Fan Xiao, even if it meant giving it up, so Fan Xiao sees no other option to get him to go back into research. Although it's deceiving, I can understand Fan Xiao this time, because his intentions are not selfish. Unlike the first time, when he just wanted to get Shulang under his control, this time he genuinely wants to do something good for Shulang. The mentor is just in for the money, BTW.
Also, it's fair for Fan Xiao to do something about it; after all, it was him (again with the help of the mentor) who made Shulang leave his previous high-paying job.
I love that they are using happy moments of them as a couple we've never seen before as flashbacks to emphasize that they were a very compatible and happy couple. Yes, Fan Xiao was lying and deceiving Shulang in order to get together with him, but on the other hand, when it comes to the core of it, he was sincerely in love and exactly the boyfriend Shulang needed - showing care and interest, being there when needed, offering excitement, comfort and companionship. It's no wonder Shulang thought he'd found the right person.
I'm sort of sad that it seems that we'll have only episode 6 and parts of episodes 5 and 7 for their happy moments, so keep the new flashbacks coming, please.
3 eps for 21 chapters is a good enough duration considering some of the things doesn’t need too much elaboration…
It's even less than 3 episodes left now. Given that they need more than 2 episodes for the 9 most toxic chapters in the book, I'm even more sceptical now. At least episode 12 ended with the very beginning of Fan Xiao's way to redemption.
There's nothing to do but trust that they will manage to show the redemption acr in a way that will make most people, not just the book readers, trust that Shulang will make the right decision at the end.
I'm a little worried that there will be only three episodes left for the redemption arc if today's episode ends the way I expect it to end. In order to manage, they will have to speed run the last 21 chapters to press them into three episodes. Hopefully the episodes will be a little longer, because IMO there is absolutely nothing that can be skipped at that point.
Give him the cold shoulder I think so far is the best revenge for a stubborn and dark FX. Beat him or hurt him…
That's just not who Shulang is. IMO, it's sort of admirable how he never spat on his morals and principles, despite what Fan Xiao did to him, stayed true to himself and still found a way to punish Fan Xiao.
Fan Qinhong? Shen Gu Jiu? Who the hell is them?"Death might be the best redemption", what a deep quote…
Fan Qinhong was Shulang's almost boyfriend in university. They were attracted to each other, but never got together because Fan Qinhong met Shen Gu Jiu and fell for him.
Its so frustrating to see nobody giving a damn about shulang. Fan xiao only wants him, he doesn't care whether…
You hit the nail in the head with everything you said. Shulang literally has no one. No family, no friends, his first lover dropped him for someone more exciting, and the "right" person he thought he'd found turned out to be a liar and a horrible person who'd rather forcefully trap him with his obssessive, destructive love than let him take his time, think about it and eventually forgive him. Even Fan Xiao at least has his faithful bestie Shi Lihua, poor Shulang is not even given that mercy. The people around him are, at best, acquaintances, who like him well enough, but don't care about him, with the notable exception of, ironically, Fan Xiao, who has no idea that this isn't the way to show him his love. It's a truly depressing situation, so it's no wonder Shulang starts to lose his will to keep on living like that.
"One lunatic in my life is plenty. I'm not stupid enough to pick up a second."
"I can't breathe with all these boys hanging around me".
Shulang is learning to recognize them, the hard way. I love him so much.
Fan Xiao really thought he could force Shulang to come back to him by destroying his life and threatning people around him and then it would be the same as before. I don't know whether to call him naive, stupid, delusional or just completely deranged. Maybe it's a little bit of everything, plus the fact that he has no idea that this isn't how you show your love to a person and has to learn the hard way.
I didn't dare to rewatch episode 10 earlier, because it shattered me, but I did today. What a brilliant episode and the acting was so on point, I got goosebumps in every single scene.
The show is very geo-restricted on Gaga, it's available only for Southeast Asia, the rest of the world should…
I'm not that much on social media so it might be that I'm ignorant, but at least on Facebook, the only social media I use, the show seems to be popular enough, the posts have ten of thousands of likes. Based on that, I was under the impression that it's doing well enough given the lack of promotion, especially on YouTube.
I don't know if I was YunYi, I would've liked what happened to the actors of Revenged Love. Just my personal opinion; of course, it might be completely wrong. A very big part of the hype for Revenged Love was the very heavy and constant promotion on YouTube.
