I can't describe how happy Karan and Achi make me every week. They are so wholesome. It's a simple relationship series without much drama, but the way both Karan and Achi have been working on it, the chemistry and the feelings are so pure and real. I love Achi's development from the first episode, when he wished he could just ignore and escape Karan's affection, to his love confession in this episode, so much, it was very well done. I've been watching the show with a huge smile on my face for 10 episodes and am sad already that I'll be losing this comfort show and this amazing couple in two weeks. And really, they are just so adorably in love that I can't help it.
I know I said this already, but the kiss last episode was phenomenal. This is how it's done!
I've never bought a gmmtv DVD box before, but I'm getting the hell of this one if they release it.
What is coming soon these days though? I feel like we have to wait another 5 months or something 😅
That would be about right. The intros of LITA two years ago were released in February too, and the series aired in August. I think this series will also air in the summer.
so if this is all a revenge plot by phee or non or whoever why'd they have to kill poor uncle dang lol what'd…
I've seen theories that was probably uncle Dang who drove Tee, Top and drugged Non to Tee's uncle, but even so, the man was just doing his job, it's not like he would know anything about Tee's intentions with Non. The poor guy definitely didn't deserve getting decapitated. In fact, IMO he was killed only because whoever is in charge of the killings didn't want the group to leave before he can finish the job. A pretty horrible reason to kill someone.
I did a rewatch of the first four episodes with the background information now and noticed some things I hadn't before:
1. Phee is the only one from the group who hasn't heard any weird noises or had any hallucinations. All of the rest either heard something, or saw something, or imagined something eery. Phee has also taken over Por's role as a leader of the group and is the one to say what's to do, who is to pair up with whom, etc. 2. Fluke stated at the end of episode 4 that he knows everything Tee's done - the camera and the leaked video. I've always been sure Jin did not post the video and this confirms it again. It was implied that either Top or Tee did, and Fluke, who knows everything, practically confirmed it was Tee. 3. Fluke is completely out of control and so extremely selfish, it's unbelievable. This is not news, but it's even more striking when you rewatch. 4. Por impaling himself was not an accident, the tree branch looked sharpened on purpose when Top held it. How whoever orchestrated it would manage to get him to impale himself exactly there is everyone's guess. Also, Por was the one who actually wanted to kill Non in episode 8 and would've hit him with the camera stand if Jin hadn't stopped him. It makes sense he would go first. 5. I think Fluke shot Top at the end of episode 4 and we'll have two dead guys when we return to the valley house. 6. Phee's feeling for Jin seem genuine to me. If he really is just playing Jin to make him trust him and then kills him (or causes his death), then he's an extremely good actor and it will be the cruelest revenge possible.
Edit: I like Jin (not a popular opinion here, I know), so I hope my interpretation is correct. ;)
I thought about that but it would mean Jin is crazy... It would make more sense for Phi to do that no ?
Jin was into Non and was so angry and upset about it that he made that video. Maybe he wanted to avenge Non, because he understood that he must've been groomed by the teacher?
I just rewatched the scene when Jin saw the bloody teacher's ghost in the temple in episode 4. He was really freaked out, like utterly scared, and he was the only one who saw him. It would make sense to me.
One thing I forgot. I know it's implied that Tee's uncle killed the teacher, but what if it was Jin driving that car that hit him? Remember that Jin was the only one who saw Keng's ghost or whatever it was in that sacrifice temple? What if that's the reason?
Absolutely! Just be warned, you might not understand some things in the first few episodes but hang on, it picks up from episodes 4 - 5. But everything that happens in the earlier episdoes is important.
I don't really care that much about the others, even though they deserve every terrible thing that happens to them, but if by the end of the series Tee is not dead or at least in prison for life with his murderer of an uncle, I'll riot. Where I live, Tee would be sentenced for murder for what he did, even though he didn't actively murder Non. I can't believe that three years later, this horrible excuse for a human being is still free and pretending he did nothing and has a loving boyfriend as the only one in the group, I might add.
I guess that Phee and Jin will use each other as rebounds to distract themselves from what happened to Non, for different reasons. Also, in the scene when Non changed the script and imagined killing all of them, it was notable that there were no images of both Jin and Tee dying, just of Por, Top and Fluke. I know this is just a repeat from the first episodes, but still, maybe it is some sort of foreshadowing.
Tan is not Non's brother. Non's brother is older, and it was established that Tan is the same age as everybody else except White, who is younger. I don't know who he is, although I think he might be just Phee's best friend who agreed to help him investigate.
I get why many people want Jin to suffer the same fate as the others and I can't blame them, but it's a fact that he's the only one in the group who shows some sort of guilt, remorse, self-awareness and conscience, so there's something good left in him, he is just too weak and dependant on this friends group for some reason to allow it to prevail. It will come back to torture him, for sure. Also, I'm sure he did not post that video, so there's at least that. Tee doesn't count, despite his background and problems. If you don't want someone killed, you don't bring him to a murderer and then pretend to care. Tee, unlike Jin, has no conscience left if he was willing to go that far.
I have to say, Saturdays are serving these days with both this and Cherry Magic. Both shows are completely different and yet I'm obssessed with both and can't wait for the new episodes.
This series has made me so happy every Saturday and today even more so. Sorry, the episode was cute and adorable and everything, but I'm all about the kiss right now. :)
Watch the uncut version of the kiss on Viu, it's swoon-worthy and IMO one of the best kisses TayNew have delivered ever.
Non is not completely innocent, he lets boys walk all over him. Was the Professor manipulative? Yes, But he had…
Jin is not the worst of them, Tee is, IMO. At least he didn't post the video, he stopped at the last minute and told Fluke he didn't do it. And I agree that the ones who posted it must have been Tee and Top, they were following Non and the teacher. Maybe even the posted video was not the one Jin made, but Tee and Top were there before or after Jin turned up and made another one they ultimately posted.
I finally caught up with this and I'm very glad I did. I didn't think it will turn out that good when I started it.
I hope Tee will be the last to die, because he has to endure the terror the longest before getting what he deserves. I hate him with a passion, such a despicable human being. He is by far the worst of them all, worse than Por, Top and Fluke, although all of them are horrible people in their own way, Jin including. I mean, Fluke tried to stop him from making that video and this is saying something. I hope Fluke shot Top at the end of episode 4 and both Por and Top are already dead, not just Por. Fluke is next on my list, he's just selfish like no one else, like Tee said.
I guess that after Non disappears, Phee will transfer to his school to try to find out what happened to him and will set his sight on Jin of all people. The irony.
The teacher totally took advantage of Non, Non would've never done that if the teacher hadn't groomed him into trusting him and telling him everything. Non felt like he had no choice. I just don't understand why he decided to tell the teacher and not Phee.
Ultimately, Non's problem is that he should just stop doing what other people want him to do and think for himself. I really disliked the scene when he finally got the guts to leave and let Jin convince him to stay, just like he let Tee get him into that much trouble before. And what's most troubling is that he acknowledged these guys are not good for him and that he has to stop associating with them. Why won't he just do it?
That's great news! I'd assumed so since it'd be weird to announce a series with such a small cast which just happens…
I'd love it to be a BL and GL with an equal screen time for both couples. But I'll watch it no matter what, half of the Cherry Magic cast is present, this is reason enough for me.

I didn't have the problem with the first 9 episodes.
