Correct, one of the major mindfucks for Vee, is that he feels he has no right to express a lot to Mark being as…
I agree with most of this, but I absolutely disagree that Vee slept with Mark to teach him a lesson. If you sleep with someone to teach them a lesson (which is a weird reason, mind you), you plan this beforehand and have a clear aim. Vee didn't plan to take Mark home, he just felt sorry for him and didn't want to leave him lying in the dirt. He then waited a couple of hours before returning to Mark and tried to tell him he was not Bar. He definitely did not start it. I've watched episode 1 at least 5 times and am sure that Vee did not plan to sleep with Mark, he just gave in to temptation because he was drunk and his defenses were lowered and IMO (I know some will disagree) he subconsciously already felt some physical attraction to him so when Mark started kissing him he couldn't say no. He was way too worked out about Mark pursuing Bar, it went beyond the normal amount of annoyance anyone would feel in such a situation.
lol they are both are in the wrong. Justice what for Ploy, she cheated too.
Of course they are both in the wrong, but Ploy at least admitted it and said she was sorry, while Vee stood there like an innocent lamb and didn't say anything about his own cheating. This is what I meant, he should own his part in it, and he didn't.
Am I supposed to feel sorry for Vee? Because I don't. The biggest hypocrite ever, OMG, I can't with him. Seriously, he sat there and let Ploy cry and apologize for cheating when he's been doing the same all the time. And let's not forget that he was the one chasing after Mark, not the other way around, Mark tried his best to escape him. And yet Vee didn't say a word about it and let Ploy beg him not to break up with her.
Justice for Ploy! Let her find out about Vee's cheating and give him a good piece of her mind, plz.
That was a very heavy episode, but I'm still loving these series very much. At least everything that happens between Vee and Mark from now on won't be cheating anymore.
BTW, the plot is very similar to the Together with Me Series. The guy with the girlfriend he won't break up with, the drunk one-night stand at the beginning and both of them cheating. Thankfully, Ploy is not the evil girlfriend here.
I love the show as it is, but it seems that important parts have been cut and put as deleted scenes for VIP-members…
Just for the record, I fell in love with this from first sight without watching the mini series before, so I'm the last person who thinks it's bad, I think it's cinematographically very pleasing, it's written well, and the acting and chemistry between the mains are exceptional. I also fell in love with Mark, this is a big bonus. It keeps me glued to the screen and this is all I want. The story is messy indeed, but it's something different and I don't mind. But I have to agree with you that after finding out about some of the scenes that have been cut, the story would be better and make more sense if they hadn't been, like for example how Vee ended up sleeping on Mark's couch at the beginning of ep. 3 or the garlic scene in ep. 3, which doesn't make much sense without the cut scene from ep. 2. I can't wait for the uncut version! And I hope they've learned their lesson and will stop cutting from now on.
I haven't watched anything from the "En of Love" series and I started this one since I was looking for something…
I love the show as it is, but it seems that important parts have been cut and put as deleted scenes for VIP-members only which might be why you feel it's badly patched together. The actors complained about it and WeTV will be releasing the director's cut version for the first three episodes. Hopefully from episode 4 on, this won't be an issue anymore. Weirdly enough, one of the deleted scenes is in the newly released OST for the series. :D
I think he rationalizes it because he was drunk and never touched mark again after- she took this man into their…
Well, he did touch Mark after - there was the forced kiss in episode 2. And he is desperately trying about everything possible to be close to Mark. It's not very common to force the guy you slept with to go with you and pick a perfume for your girlfriend because he "smells nice", and then try out the perfume on his wrist and neck. I'm still speechless at that scene, because for the life of me I can't figure out what Vee thought he was doing.
IA that Ploy's cheating is worse, if there's such a thing at all, don't get me wrong, but what Vee is doing with Mark is very far from innocent.
I'm by far impressed by this version of Love Mechanics. I remember seeing the En of Love version, and I still…
The previews for the following episodes seem to be released a day before the episode is going to air. They released the preview for episode 3 on YouTube on Friday, the episode itself aired on Saturday. I guess the preview for episode 4 is going to come next Friday.
These BL series are the best I've seen this year so far. This is just my personal opinion. I love them completely and absolutely and can't wait to see what is going to happen. I've decided to watch the mini-series after these are completed, because I don't want to spoil myself too much. I really, really hope the quality will stay the same until the end.
I adore Mark so much, he has to be my favourite character in a BL series so far, and I've seen quite a few of them. I like that he isn't the typical meek, goodie-shoes, passive main, even though, ironically enough, he's the pursued one here. The acting is amazing, the writing is tight and precise, but at the same time expressive and emotional. The mutual attraction is sizzling every time Vee and Mark are on screen and it's incredible to watch, especially considering how differently they deal with it.
I liked this so much that I've watched both released episodes three times already. I hope the remaining episodes will keep up.
The actor who plays Mark is phenomenal and I adore the character, he's edgy and knows what he wants, but he also knows when to stop. I really liked that he tried to win his crush over while Bar was still officially single, but as soon as this changed, he backed off. Very mature decision, in contrast with some immature actions of his. Great character, with several faults, but likable and relatable.
The actor who plays Vee is good, too, and IMO it's quite obvious that Vee, consciously or not, has had feelings for Mark since before the series started. Unlike Mark, he does not know when to stop, though. I don't buy that he was so drunk that night that he couldn't stop. He probably saw it as his only chance to get Mark and went for it. In ep. 2, he's pursuing Mark very visibly and knows exactly what he's doing. I'm on the fence whether to feel sorry for Ploy or not, even if she's cheating on Vee herself. I hope there will be some explanation about why Vee doesn't seem to consider her feelings even for a little bit before going after Mark.
It was a well-done and entertaining enough show and I don't regret watching it, but the only thing I cared about at the end was the third pairing of Nuer and Syn.
I still do not get why/how Dao expected Kleun to accept his confession in high school? Like as far as he knew,…
IA, for me Khluen's reaction to the confession was very understandable considering the circumstances. I mean, first Daonuea told him he was leaving the same evening for a country far, far away and then told him he liked him, knowing very well he would leave no matter what Khluen's answer would be. Yes, it was established that Khluen has liked him at that point but I think he was caught unaware by the news that Daonuea was leaving and didn't know how to react. It was a very overwhelming situation for him - he still had a girlfriend and his crush was leaving, but at the same time confessing to him and for what? I'm not saying that everyone would react the way he did, but many people, me including, would. He was just caught by surprise.
Justice for Ploy! Let her find out about Vee's cheating and give him a good piece of her mind, plz.
