At this point, I've decided to just enjoy what I like and ignore what makes me wince. Thankfully, there's Sky, whom I adore more than anything. He was the reason I started watching this series and this hasn't changed. Catching the wind without realizing it is quite an achievement, after all. 😉I also very much like Noeul's acting - he is so charming and cute that I've upgraded Rain to my second-favourite character.
All in all, I'm waiting for Sky and Prapai to start, because I want more Sky and also to finally find out more about Sky's love interest. The Prapai/ Saifah scene was funny, but I want to see more of him, preferably before the PrapaiSky story starts.
Wait so do they get 7 episodes each? Or they will only give SkyPrapai 5 episodes? Cause on here it says there…
PhayuRain get 7 episodes, PrapaiSky 6 episodes, although I think there will be some of them in ep. 7. There will be a special episode 14 for both couples.
I mean it's a series not porn the fact that we got a love scene is enough they at least showed the condom, they…
Thank you so much for being the voice of reason. Those who want to see lube, proper preparation and taking their time with it, should indeed watch porn. This isn't it. I'm glad we got a sensual NC scene which was detailed enough, but still tasteful. It's clear they can't show every single detail.
So, Puen recognized the hat with the alpaca drawing, absolutely understandable. But why didn't Talay remember he'd drawn a hat like that before and given it, coincidentally, to an actor in his own universe? He seriously didn't remember giving the exactly same hat to someone else and having the same conversation about llamas and alpacas? Am I missing something?
Also: please tell me Fuse and Aou are happening, because I'm totally here for them!
Finally someone agrees with me! I saw people comment that he looked hesitant, but this is not what I saw at all.…
I think so too, he looked determined to do anything. I also love that his motives aren't entirely altruistic like it looked before. I think his main reason to act this way is his scholarship and future, i.e. completely selfish reasons. It makes him more human and real in my eyes, unlike the robot who repeated the same things from the first episodes.
I'm so glad to see so many multi-dimensional characters in this series, it makes it probably the best one airing at the moment.
That was a hell of an episode, and the preview is killing me.
I'm glad we got some background on Akk and his motivations to act the way he does, it finally gives more depth to his character. The most intense moment was when he asked Ayan how Teacher Dika was with that knowing look that left no room for Ayan to lie or try to deny anything. Also, it turns out that he liked Teacher Dika and called him a traitor because he changed schools, not because he disliked him. Talk about a twist.
Him being behind the "curse" is not surprising, I remember making a comment saying that it should be either Namo or any of the prefects themselves, and given their personalities, Akk is indeed the most probable choice. He's skating on thin ice, though, the accidents with the flower pots and the car could've indeed hurt people. I'm wondering if he was behind them or someone else is involved in the curse, too.
I tried very hard to see who was not there during the Judo lesson, but it was hard. Anyway, Namo and Akk were there, and it seems like everybody was in the locker room afterwards. Sneaking out during that lesson seems almost impossible, but I still think it has to be one of the main characters. I think it might be Thua, although I have no explanation how he would do it, only because in the past he asked Ayan to stop and cares about him and probably thinks he's helping. Speaking of Thua, I hope he gets a boyfriend who is not Kan, he deserves better than someone who tells him he could talk to him about everything, but would drop him in public the moment his internalized homophobia kicks in.
On a sidenote, all 4 leads are good-looking, but (for me) there's something about Peat and his eyes that hits…
IA, he is gorgeous, there's something special about him. And yes, he has very expressive and striking eyes. He is also naturally funny, his comments in the reaction videos are hilarious. To me, he is the most attractive of the four.
I can't wait for Sky's story, but I'm enjoying Rain and Payu more than I expected, and Noeul is adorable.
Wow, that NC scene was really well done. In fact, I haven't been that impressed with a NC scene since Tutor and Fighter.
And it's great they put it on YouTube after all, but why without subtitles? I hope they'll add them.
The rest of the episode was a little slow, there were some weird cuts, but I really liked Payu, he's improved a lot, and as always I was happy every time I saw Sky.
This is a great observation. Ayan attracts so much attention with the mystery that surrounds him that I forgot…
Thank you for the detailed and well thought out reply, for me everything you said makes sense indeed. And yes, Akk's behaviour not making much sense is what I was talking about, but given the situation, I think you're right that it's not supposed to make sense and it's supposed to mirror the way Akk's feeling, i.e. confused as hell and in denial about his own feelings. Additionally, I think he is struggling to understand the motivation behind Ayan's flirting with him and how much of it is real, because he knows Ayan does have a hidden agenda to be in this school, but to be honest, I'm not sure even Ayan would be able to say how much of his flirting is because of the attraction he feels for Akk and how much of it is meant to get Akk to back off and leave him get his revenge in peace.
Are you guys watching this on youtube? I swear the eps were on the MeMindY channel a few days ago. But now when…
It's still on YouTube, they haven't removed it. From what I know, the YouTube videos are visible only for fans in Europe, Africa and parts of Asia, though. The rest of Asia, North- and South-America and Australia are supposed to watch it on iQIYI. I'm in Europe and the iQIYI link doesn't work for me, but I can watch on YouTube.
The latest episode was so good, OMG. Fast paced and interesting and full of suspense. I only rolled my eyes at the accidental kiss, it was not necessary. Ayan and Akk didn't need it, the sexual tension is there for everyone to see.
Ayan is still the best character, but I wanna write about Akk today. I was hoping he would get more interesting as the series progress and he did, but I still don't get his character and what he's doing, he's very contradictory.
It was him mainly to blame for the teachers bullying Ayan, because he put him in their sight. I don't remember how many times he went to that horrible male teacher to complain about him, but it was more than twice, that much I remember. He should've known that would have consequences for Ayan, so I don't really get why he acted so shocked when it happened and why he went to comfort Ayan afterwards. So he wants him gone from school, but is against what the teachers are doing to achieve that, but he reported him to them in the first place? Make it make sense, plz.
Kan saying Ayan's cocky. :D Pot, meet kettle.
After comforting Ayan and seeing him cry, Akk still wants to expose him and get him expelled so he suggests to his friends to follow him around every day and night, weekends and national holidays. Wat and Kan's reactions to that brilliant idea were more than telling. How much exactly are you obsessed with the guy, Akk, and how far are you willing to get with the stalking?
Akk is not brainless, though, he got a lot of things right. Ayan is getting revenge for Teacher Dika, even though he was not his boyfriend. It seems that no one in the school knows about the death of Teacher Dika, so I'm really curious to see when exactly he'll connect the dots, because he will, I'm sure of it.
I wrote this in the comment section of Love in the Air series, too, but thanks God for The Eclipse and Love in the Air, this BL series are the only ones to keep my interest at the moment. The views for The Eclipse seem to be picking up since this episode, and hopefully soon it will get the recognition it deserves if they keep it up. I knew I was gonna like this since the first teaser and I was right.
I liked the development of Rain and Payu in this episode, they are moving in the right direction, but my highlights are still the scenes with Sky, I just adore him and can't wait for this story. I also wished there was more of Prapai, because his character so far is obscure, while Sky is better developed.
It's also interesting that while Prapai is over the moon with happiness after having just met Sky and it shows, Sky is the same as ever. So he either wasn't impressed at the start, or he is very good at hiding his feelings.
I wasn't the biggest fan of the way Payu treated Rain in the last episode, but I liked him here a lot better, and I also noted his brother saying several times that Payu is not an easy person, so I'm taking this into consideration. The scenes in the restaurant were IMO indeed what Payu said, just teasing, because he wants Rain to react accordingly. I still hope this was the last time he called Rain stupid, because they are moving into getting closer fast. There also wasn't IMO anything problematic in the hug/comfort scene and I didn't feel Rain was pressured into hugging Pauy, on the contrary, it felt like Rain didn't expect to be comforted at all and this is why he was perplexed at first, but he exhaled when he hugged Payu back. Let's also not forget that Rain could've been comforted by Ple or Sky, but he chose to go to Payu instead, no one forced him.
Thanks God for this series and The Eclipse, nothing else holds my interest at the moment.
I hope we get more information about Sky and his toxic ex in the 3rd episode. Sky is the most interesting character…
I really hope he'll stay this way when he meets his love interest and won't turn into someone who needs to be "taken care of" or saved. Right now, Sky is my favourite, too.
I'm so glad this series hasn't disappointed so far, and as a big cat lover I just have to highlight Ayan's "Caturday" t-shirt. ;) He was my favourite anyway, but now even more so.
All in all, I'm waiting for Sky and Prapai to start, because I want more Sky and also to finally find out more about Sky's love interest. The Prapai/ Saifah scene was funny, but I want to see more of him, preferably before the PrapaiSky story starts.

Wanna bet that not only Rain, but also Prapai is going to follow Sky's advice?
