The other week everybody is excited to watch PaiSky Story. They even said that RainPayu is boring and bland. Now…
There are 3 episodes left, but I agree that 6 episodes for their story is not enough given Sky's trauma.🙂

It does seem like three episodes into his story, I know less about Sky than I did before. Pai sometimes seems…
You don't seem to like women and girls very much, do you?

The new promotional poster for episode 11 omg.

I'm really afraid they'll give us half an episode of both couples being lovey-dovey and then it'll all come crushing down, because it has to come out that Akk was doing those curse things, right?

I've scanned through the comments, and I, for one, am glad that Sky and Pai have a slower build-up to a relationship…
Absolutely. And they do have chemistry, despite what some are saying. It's a different story with different characters and has to be treated differently. Payu and Rain are over, seriously, why the need to compare, because both stories are very different.

This was the sweetest episode ever to me and Sky deserves all the love and every romantic gesture he gets. I don't get the negative comment (with the exception of the complains about the sound editing, because it's been bad ever since I remember) at all.

Some comments said that Sky and Prapai or Peat and Fort ... no chemistry unlike Rain & Phayu...Well, my point…
Rain and Payu were bland and boring to me. I don't remember anything from their SL, mostly because they didn't have one. I barely made it through episode 7 and I definitely don't need more episodes about them. And although I like Noeul's acting, he's not a better actor than Peat.

Here we have an actual serious issue and a real SL and the chemistry between Peat and Fort is just right in this aspect. Fort needs more polishing, I agree, but I'm willing to give him a pass because he's very young. I can see preferring one couple over the other, which is a matter of taste, but saying Prapai and Sky don't have any chemistry goes a little too far. I've rewatched episodes 8 and 9 more times than I remember, unlike any of the previous episodes.

I knew from the beginning that I was going to love Sky's story and I was right.

First of all, Peat did a great job, he carried the episode. He was always my favourite from the cast and I enjoyed every and any scene with him until now, but I'm so glad we finally get to see him as more than just Rain's friend. Sky's character is the most challenging to play from the main four and Peat nailed it. I'm very glad to see that he's getting credit and recognition for it and I really hope to see him in another series in the future.

In this episode, we saw how multifaceted Sky's character is, aside from his sassy and sarcastic demeanour. He's very helpful and supportive to others, a very good and considerate friend, but also very guarded and allows himself to be vulnerable only when he's alone. I doubt anyone knows about what has happened to him and how he really feels inside. And obviously, he needs someone to help him through it and I think we're supposed to slowly realize that Prapai is going to be this person.

I was sure that Sky telling Rain "Fortune favours the bold" in episode 3 when he advised Rain to go and show his face to Payu every day in order to win him over was going to come back at him and I was right. Prapai threw almost the same words back at him. "Fortune favours the thick-skinned", indeed. ;)

Did anyone notice that at the end of the episode Prapai changed into the t-shirt Sky was wearing in the previous episode when Prapai called him for the first time ? Very cute. :D

I'm on the fence with Rain, because I like him despite him clearly not beeing the brightest guy in the world. I mean, he seriously didn't know Prapai was after Sky after the scene in Payu's house when Prapai said he wouldn't leave unless Rain gave him Sky's number? Didn't he see the expression on Prapai's face? Of course Rain could've called Payu and asked him to bring his work to Sky's room so Rain would be able to take care of him. The thing is that IMO Rain is sort of rooting for his friend to fall for Prapai, or at least this is the vibe I got when Rain started praising Prapai to Sky. Maybe, despite his cluelessness, Rain subconsciously feels that his friend needs someone who'd take care of him for a change, just like Sky seems to be taking care of everyone but himself. I know I'm probably giving Rain too much credit, but I still don't think he's a bad friend for leaving Sky with Prapai for two reasons - he seems to like Prapai and feels like he can trust him as Payu's best friend and as someone who's obviously very into his own best friend.

Title Love in the Air Spoiler
Bed scenes aside, is this series worth watching? This comment section is a mess. xD
There is no way to say for sure unless you try, but because you're asking, I'll give you my very personal, subjective and biased opinion. Warning: major spoilers ahead, so if you don't want them, don't read further.

First of all, there are two main couples and their SLs are completely spilt. This means that in episodes 1 - 7 (except for the last part of ep. 7) there's only the SL of Payu and Rain and from part 4 of episode 7 to the end there's only the SL of Sky and Prapai. This is good for the people who want to see only one of the couples, but bad for people like me who was interested in the second couple from the beginning and had to wait almost 8 episodes to get it.

Payu and Rain's SL is complete and I'd recommend to watch the first 3 episodes or so or check the highlights on YouTube (all of them are subtitled) and see if you like them. It's a very basic SL about the two of them falling in love. Rain, although he is attracted to Payu since the beginning, denies it and claims he likes a female friend from university, so in order to win him over, Payu gets him to pursue him instead, i.e. on the surface, it's Rain pursueing Payu and not the other way around. There also are some dom/sub overtones in the relationship. Rain's character and the way Noeul plays him is the highlight for me, although many will disagree. Rain is generally a nice, naive, relaxed, sexually unexperienced boy who wears his heart on his sleeve and tends to react without thinking too much. He's not very bright (many people called him immature, but I disagree), but he's charming and loveable and you cannot be mad at him for long, at least to me. I was not impressed with Payu's character very much or with the way the actor played him, but to be fair, there's only that much he could do with the material he was given. I pushed through their SL, but I enjoyed the friendship between Rain and Sky way more than I enjoyed the Payu and Rain relationship. But many people liked it, so maybe you will too. It's light-hearted and it doesn't face many obstacles, Rain comes around pretty fast.

Now Sky and Prapai, the ship I wanted to see from the beginning. Because it's just started, I'd advise you to wait two weeks and then try it if you're interested, because only one episode is out and especially the Prapai character is still a mystery. Of course, you can watch the hightlights of episode 8 on YouTube and see if the dynamics of this couple appeal to you. I'll admit I watch this for two reasons - I adore Sky's character, who is a very sarcastis, smart, no-bullshit, witty, direct, sassy guy and in contrast to his best friend Rain obviously sexually experienced, which plays a role. It helps a lot that the actor plays him perfectly, the faces he makes have kept me amused and entertained since the beginning. The second reason is that I love this sort of SL and eat it up - a seemingly unwilling guy is pursued by his love interest, but rejects him at first not because he is not attracted to him, but because he has a good reason to refuse (fear of being rejected, feeling undeserving of love, etc.). Did you enjoy the chase of the main couple in Fish Upon the Sky? If yes, maybe you'll like this one too, there are some similarities. If you disliked the way Mork went after Pi, this SL is not for you, because Prapai goes after Sky hard. A warning: the SL starts with an one-night stand which is problematic to many and I can see why. Consent was given, but Sky felt like he had no choice but to give it. However, I'm willing to give Prapai the benefit of a doubt here, because I feel that he would've never forced Sky into anything if he'd refused. There was very little dialogue in the scene, they didn't know each other and Prapai is still sort of an obscure character.

Anyway, good luck, whatever you decide!

Now I feel guilty for enjoying both The Eclipse and the Sky/Prapai SL from Love in the Air. It's possible to watch and like both shows, just saying. I can't help it, I've fallen in love with Sky from first sight and cannot not watch his story.

So much word on the swimming, though. Not every high school student can swim well, so why shouldn't Akk be allowed to be a bad swimmer? He's not competing.

Interesting point about the notebook. I'm curious as to why yout think it was Thua? Because you think Thua wanted…
It's mostly a feeling, but I have a couple of theories about why Thua would take Ayan's notebook. I'll try to list all of them, starting with the most probable one, of course imo:

- in episode 3, Ayan and Thua spoke for the first time and Thua told Ayan he didn't take sides and was neutral. Ayan stormed off, angry, but then later we saw them speaking again and Ayan was telling Thua something that seemed to be a secret; later Thua told him that Ayan shouldn't tell anyone else what he told him, so it must've been something very important. We never heard what it was, though, because the camera shifted to jealous Kan and Akk who were watching them, and when Wat suggested they just ask what Thua and Ayan were talking about, they dragged him away. I think that Thua taking the notebook has something to do with whatever Ayan told him and it will be revealed later what it was. Maybe I'm completely wrong, but I think that scene between the two of them was important and it will be mentioned again.
- a less complicated theory would be that Thua just took the notebook in order to stop Ayan (or at least slow him down) from whatever he was doing, because it was obvious the notebook is very important to Ayan and maybe Thua thought Ayan's attention would shift into finding it first.
- another possibility is that Thua took it because he wanted Ayan to suspect Akk (which was obvious that he will) and drift a rift between them, but I have no explanation why he would want to do that, so this is less likely.

I agree with you about the notebook. I love the pacing and the development of the relationships against the backdrop…
Agreed! Manner of Death is a very good example for a plot driven-show with a BL couple. Triage is another one. But this one isn't, and it was clear when the official trailer came out. It's not the curse that makes Akk and Ayan change as characters, it's them falling in love.

I'm still convinced that Thua and not Chadok took Ayan's notebook. I'm not sure why, but for me it wasn't a coincidence Ayan found the book after Thua turned up and not before.

For those missing a plot I'd suggest to watch the trailer again. This is a series about Akk and Ayan's relationship and the way their characters grow and develop, the plot is secondary and I personally couldn't be happier about that, because a well-developed and gradual enemies-to-lovers like this one is rare. This is a romance-driven and not a plot-driven show. The romance between Akk and Ayan and how it affects and changes them has been central to the story since the beginning; everything else is secondary. And when we take this into account, the changes in their characters are obvious. Ayan's softer and more trusting, while Akk allows himself to come out of his shell and see different points of view than his own or Chadok's.

I loved the underwater kiss and don't care it's been done before. Seriously, they could've kissed anywhere and it would've been done before; there are only that many possibilities for a kiss. What's more important is that Akk went for it first and he's calling Ayan Aye now. Progress on all fronts!

the sheer audacity to cut time from prapai/skys already shorter storytime to show OLD phayu/rain scenes is absurd…
Yes, I'm still angry about it. Sky and Prapai get one episode less. In the Payu and Rain SL we barely got to see Prapai and although Sky got a decent screen time as Rain's friend, it seems like Rain's going to get the same screen time in the Sky and Prapai SL. Why was it necessary to take 3 or 4 precious minutes from Sky and Prapai to repeat a scene we already saw in ep. 2?

Sky is precious and has to be protected at all costs, although to be fair, I'm sure he can take care of himself.

I feel very shallow when I write this, but these two (Sky and Prapai) have to be one of the best looking couples I've ever seen and I think I'd watch them even if they had the most boring SL in the world. Thankfully, they don't. They were what I wanted to see from the start and I love them. Whoever found them and cast them, thank you very much.

Why was it necessary to repeat the Rain/Payu scene from episode 2 in its entirety? It was so annoying, I thought I was watching the wrong episode. Was there any sense of it or did I miss something? I was expecting Rain to remember Sky was left there alone in that dangerous place, but it never happened, so why?

Sky was my favourite from the very beginning (first teasers and trailers) and this hasn't changed. Maybe I'm biased, but I also think Peat is the strongest actor of the four.

Rain-Payu story ended or not? I'm awfully tired of waiting for Sky's part to start. I couldn't care less about…
Yes, Payu and Rain's SL is completed. The Sky and Prapai SL started in part 4 of episode 7. I recommend watching it, because even though they don't appear together, it's about their characters and gives a little background.

I enjoy this a lot, no doubt. But I would appreciate it, if GMMTV invests a bit more in the editing, film-making…
I want to comment on the consent thing, because while I agree in general that it's not necessary to ask for consent every time you want to kiss someone who obviously is attracted to you too, I don't think Ayan saying that if Akk didn't like it he would stop was misplaced in the concrete scene we're talking about given Akk's personality, state of mind (he had just prevented another kiss from happening), their relationship with each other and the fact that it was established Akk's a virgin. Ayan was extra careful and soft and I can see why. For me, the scene in its entirety and the kiss were perfect they way they were for the reasons I mentioned. Another similar scene when I found it was all right to ask for consent was the first kiss between Pob and Leon in Don't Say No. So, in general I agree, but there are exceptions to the rule. And I still haven't given up on a love scene between Ayan and Akk, so hopefully we'll see some passion. The actors are amazing and have great chemistry and will deliver. The two kisses they had are already more memorable than most I've seen this year, and the imaginary kiss is one of the best I've seen at all, period.

I really dislike mentioning another series and comparing, but I'll do it in order to make my point that Gmmtv seems to be improving with the number of the "allowed" kisses, too. I don't know if you're watching Vice Versa, which ended today, because it started airing about a month before The Eclipse. It took a lot of time for the mains to kiss properly, but after that they kissed quite a few times, I think in one of the episodes even more than once. This is quite an improvement since last year's 1000 Stars, Fish Upon the Sky and even Bad Buddy. Sadly, I personally think that you're right and we'll probably see only one kiss more from Akk and Ayan with the rate their relationship is progressing, but who knows, maybe we'll be proven wrong. 🙂😉

I watched the episode after reading some of the comments here and was scared that I was not going to like it, but ended up loving it! Note to myself: don't read reactions before watching the episode yourself, it's better for your mental state!

Akk never said he didn't have feelings for Ayan, he said he's not ready to admit them and he chooses not to act on them. I think I already wrote that as a comment to another episode, but Akk will have to choose between love and being the perfect prefect and the perfect Suppalo student at some point, hopefully soon, because I really don't want this to turn into one of the series in which the main couple comes together in the very last episode, although probably exactly this is going to happen. :-( Whether he'll choose right before it's too late remains to be seen, but I'm glad Ayan's being mature and patient enough to give him the chance. My love for Ayan in this episode has no limits, I admire him so much for giving a chance on love despite everything. It takes a lot of strength and courage to do that after what happened. I also think that Akk deserves this chance, because he does have genuine feelings for Ayan, even though he doesn't want to admit them.

So dear old Chadok invented the curse and passed it on to the future prefects, right? Figures.

I didn't get the last part. So Thua had Ayan's notebook and wanted to give it to the teachers? Or was it there already and in the mess that followed it fell to the floor and Ayan found it?

Not true. The special episode would be ep. 14, so Prapai and Sky get 6 episodes and a quarter. 😉
