just watched ep20, very intrigued. So many plot twists so fair, I love this season! Somth suspicious is going on. So many cliff hangers!! Like what was Qin Shang Chang gonna say to Duan Mu Bai before they got attacked about the truth with what happened to Hua General??

King Duan Mu Qing Cang’s behaviour is very suspicious and inconsistent. Maybe that other guy who knows medicine is wearing a mask and pretending to be him or hypnotised him?? Well at least somth happened to him that night where he was praying.

Also we never saw that other guy die and it was just implied that he died in the fire hm..

has anyone else realised that Ning Fei never told Zhou Si the truth about what happened in America? Even once he recovered his memories, he never told her that she was the one who saved him which caused her to injure her hand from the glass. Not him who saved her. Moreover, Zhou Si never explicitly told Wei Qing about what happened in America or about Ning Fei’s sister threats. Wei Qing only found out about the incident thru hypnotising Ning Fei.

I just noticed this came out on Chinese Valentine’s Day, as in the 520 I love you day! (Different from the QiXi festival one in August)

Honestly should of ended at ep11 with him proposing. NOT EXPLODING. I’m not one to pay attention to details, but I was able to understand the timeline surprisingly. It goes back and fourth a lot until ep11 where it was like a changing the past to prevent his 2024 death kinda thing. I feel like it did go a bit side tracked. Like it started focusing too much on the friendship and the anticlimactic unnecessary break up. I think they spent more time worrying about the villain, rather then the villain actually doing anything. Seems like the villain just had a bad childhood and grew up with hatred and after the ML sent him to jail, he projected all this despise onto him as a way of fuelling his obsession and desire to be in control.

Considering this new 2025 time line coma plot, I’m assuming that the timelines weren’t actually meant to connect perhaps and they are just all alternate realities. Yet they chose to incorporate memories of these other timelines by suggesting that it was a dream?

The trailer makes it seem a little similar to What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim

yeah I stalked them weibo acc of mysterious love when the first season finished. In one the interviews , they implied that there would a second season :)

For a short drama, the production and acting was actually pretty good. Defo could of been an longer drama. i feel like if this drama was produced by iQiyi or Youku it would of been a full 40 minutes 24 episode drama. Since this drama reminded me of their style of historical dramas.

I feel like neither main characters have grown at all. FL is still naive and stubborn. ML still likes to take control of everything. I thought they would of overcame this in season 1. Personally, I think the problem was the FL, she wasn’t considerate of the ML before chasing her own dreams. She didn’t notice the ML’s insecurities. I can understand ML’s selfishness after waiting for the FL for a year and the FL still wants to go abroad again without a care in the world. I feel like the FL is not ready for relationship and she doesn’t even need a boyfriend. ML is immature and likes to resort to old CEO ways in order to get what he wants. This plot makes a lot more sense in 2018 when the first one came out. I just find myself disagreeing with the FL decisions. And frustrated that the FL thinks “She’s all that” and she blames everything on the ML and thinks she doesn’t need the ML. I rlly don’t understand that. And the ML’s lack of ability to put down his pride is such a big obstacle in their relationship.

the ending literally implied that he died next to her 0_0 So sad why would they do this?!

I rlly wished that rather than going down this whole super natural powers, illness, coma, fake death, amnesia plot, they could of just left it ALL this out. And just made the main conflict dealing with the business rival and sorting out their past.

isn’t this based on a manhua called My Dearest Liu Yu An. Which might explain why each ep is only 6 minutes cos often these types of dramas have short episodes.

Yeah HAHAH I recognised him too from watching too much tvb dramas ^_^ the shares thing kinda confused me because they said there was 20% of shares in the hands of other ppl. However the Long guy only collected 5%. So who was collecting the other 15%? Moreover, how come Chloe’s dad didn’t even any shares? I know he died and all but like I thought he would have had some shares.

YES SAME. The third uncle was mentioned multiple times yet he was barely in the show and didn’t rlly do anything?? Even in his appearance it was only for like 5 seconds and he was wearing shades LMAO. That’s ending with Mandy’s sister killing Sammi was weird asf. They should of just left her die from the sleeping pills. It was so randommm

I only skipped to the end briefly but it’s kind of open ended. Like they are still friends and happy (they walk off in the distance holding hands) but they don’t exactly dare either. Probs open to interpretation.
