If you keep watching, at one point ML reveals to the FL that the situation was much more complicated than he thought and because of the crisis the company was currently in, it wouldn’t be suitable for a seemingly dead grandson for 17 years to appear. So he needed ZXY to stabilise the company first.

I think the day when ZXY died, ML had only just found ZXY recently. So for 17 years he never knew what she looked like anyway. So I guess it’s not that bad if he fell in love with a doppelgänger.

It’s is quite strange tho, in a world of c drama, two ppl who look exactly alike but are not twins who were separated at birth.

I have a headache from binging this drama for too long LOL! So glad it’s not 40+ episodes that would been a whole roller coaster of emotions.

Also feel like FL acts kinda cringe when she starts liking the ML.

the ending was abit underwhelming tbh. I was hoping for some big criminal mastermind to be behind the clowns and like a plot twist. Tbh I actually quite like Cheung Sai Hei, he was smart and good looking LOL.

Does the ending imply Yu Sing Pak did fall for Thena’s trick? Cause the last scene seemed abit creepy, like he created his own version of an evil clown.

when I was referring to the calendar I meant the poster calendar by Youku not the MDL one. Cause it said that for VIP viewers it should be upto ep16.

I looked on most sites and they are all upto ep13 weirdly. Where did you find eps to 15? :)

Angel’s reappearance probs indicated that she has somth to do with Alex’s disappearance. She probably did team up with Rebecca or prehaps David (the dad) since Rebecca told the David to not harm Alex during the phone call.

Maybe the sudden switch to mandarin is to hint at Rebecca’s arrival again since she escaped to Taiwan? Honestly I was waiting for Angel’s revenge for sooo long and she only appeared for like 10 seconds ;(

Shame I thought the whole point of the drama was to give context and then reveal what happened to Alex . Guess not.

so confused by the ending!! Surely a season 2?? So many things left in answered….

I’m pretty sure it’s just implying that Fu Ze Yi is back and he is pretending to be Li to earn the Second Uncle’s trust. But unfortunately the FL got dragged into the situation and because of the security camera, he couldn’t tell her that he was just acting.

I think it would be a rushed ending. Probs somth along the lines of ML exposing the uncle at the press conference and then explains what happened to the FL. And prehaps the FL will be annoyed that ML lied to her AGAIN but she forgives him cue a very rushed happily ever after.

FR she just did some research on him and decided that she wants to tame him. Like they haven’t even met before!!! That’s just crazy, at least in other dramas there’s actually a backstory.

The ML is so low for teaming up with that girl just to get a reaction out of the FL. Like he knows that she’s up to no good but he’s letting her walk all over him.

Joey Chua’s pronunciation sounded abit different sometimes, turns out she’s Malaysian!

i feel like the FL is being selfish when she didn’t want ML to go thru with the treatment because she doesn’t want his alter ego to go away. She doesn’t realise that the person she has fallen in love now with is Fu Ze Yi. She’s completely blindsided by the memories from the past and the stuff Lin has done to help her hotel. She has every right to be mad at the ML for lying, buts it’s not fair at all that the only reason she still cares about the ML is because she wants to retain the alter ego that isn’t the real ML. She is neglecting what’s best for the ML and his mental health. Lin is just someone that the ML subconsciously created to cope with the trauma, he’s destined to go away eventually for the ML to fully heal.

your so right! The actors are so good looking and the FL is so pretty! It’s actually interesting that the alter ego troupe has become more significant in c dramas recently.

just watched ep20, very intrigued. So many plot twists so fair, I love this season! Somth suspicious is going on. So many cliff hangers!! Like what was Qin Shang Chang gonna say to Duan Mu Bai before they got attacked about the truth with what happened to Hua General??

King Duan Mu Qing Cang’s behaviour is very suspicious and inconsistent. Maybe that other guy who knows medicine is wearing a mask and pretending to be him or hypnotised him?? Well at least somth happened to him that night where he was praying.

Also we never saw that other guy die and it was just implied that he died in the fire hm..

has anyone else realised that Ning Fei never told Zhou Si the truth about what happened in America? Even once he recovered his memories, he never told her that she was the one who saved him which caused her to injure her hand from the glass. Not him who saved her. Moreover, Zhou Si never explicitly told Wei Qing about what happened in America or about Ning Fei’s sister threats. Wei Qing only found out about the incident thru hypnotising Ning Fei.

I just noticed this came out on Chinese Valentine’s Day, as in the 520 I love you day! (Different from the QiXi festival one in August)

Honestly should of ended at ep11 with him proposing. NOT EXPLODING. I’m not one to pay attention to details, but I was able to understand the timeline surprisingly. It goes back and fourth a lot until ep11 where it was like a changing the past to prevent his 2024 death kinda thing. I feel like it did go a bit side tracked. Like it started focusing too much on the friendship and the anticlimactic unnecessary break up. I think they spent more time worrying about the villain, rather then the villain actually doing anything. Seems like the villain just had a bad childhood and grew up with hatred and after the ML sent him to jail, he projected all this despise onto him as a way of fuelling his obsession and desire to be in control.

Considering this new 2025 time line coma plot, I’m assuming that the timelines weren’t actually meant to connect perhaps and they are just all alternate realities. Yet they chose to incorporate memories of these other timelines by suggesting that it was a dream?

yeah I stalked them weibo acc of mysterious love when the first season finished. In one the interviews , they implied that there would a second season :)
