Anyone know why they released all the episodes today? I know usually there is a fast track option for VIP users to purchase, however, it usually would be written on the airring calendar. I think this was definitely a last minute decision! Interestingly I think the drama could have gained even more popularity if they stretched it out for one more week. Esp this thread ahah, probs a lot more comments if we were still waiting for another week LOL

Just out of curiosity, since most ppl here are probs frequent drama watchers, has anyone seen Crush (2021) with Wan Peng? I feel like this drama has very similar vibes to Crush. Don’t get me wrong, the plot is very different. I just mean the heartfelt emotions that arise from watching the drama and the whole aspect of first love are quite similar. And I think it’s the realistic portrayal of the characters. These vulnerable emotions that most of us have sustained in one way or another coming to life in a drama.

Not sure about the metaphoric meaning behind it but the Chinese title actually just directly translates to “secretly/stealthily” (偷偷) “can’t hide it” (藏不住). Probs similar meaning to the Drama’s English title “Hidden Love”. As in can’t hide my feelings?

Lmao I thought he was meant to look tired and stressed because of what happened with Jiang Ning.

Watching this drama makes me wonder if ppl find me this shy irl LOL

I have seen the ML in Our Secrect, he’s always been good looking but the hairstyle just makes it even better! Like the middle part and then a section of curtain hair covering one side of his forehead!! what is this hair style called, this has been my type in guys for years LOL

Yep no worries! Noticed it straight away because almost all the dramas I have ever watched always have their own OST lol. In fact there was a drama I watched over a year ago, and sometimes I still listen to one their OSTs cause it sounds so nice and very emotional ahah.

I find that usually the 3-5minutes mini episode dramas are the ones recycling popular Chinese songs.

Yes I am talking about the song 嘉宾 which is played frequently throughout the drama. It is a very popular Chinese song that was released in 2021! It’s got like 41 million views on YouTube and I have noticed that it’s frequently used as the background music in Chinese social networking apps such as Douyin and 快手. There was another song as well but I would have to rewatch the drama to pull them out haha

Anyone else find it weird how this drama hasn’t created it’s own OST? I’ve noticed that all the songs played in this drama seems to be already existing Chinese songs that are frequently played on the Chinese radio.

Anyone else surprised that the FL didn’t get pregnant with twins and then ran off Paris to meet with Bai Yan. And then time skip 5 years, FL and ML meet again in China? lmao

I’m not sure who it was, I think it was the uncle or somth, but they lied about the incident with the rubbish thing and tried to bribe the injured person.

Also like the SFL’s talent manager? Surely some repercussion for whatever bribery she received to prehaps give a false witness statement?

It’s also baffling that after all that ML and his mum were prepared to withdraw their claims against Su Juan. But Su Juan already handed himself in. It’s interesting cause I feel like although Su Juan did receive legal punishment, he never apologised.

But yes, I suppose your partially right, in which, the key characters did receive legal punishment :)

Not sure if u have finished it yet, but I actually found that a lot of the antagonists did not get punished by law for their evil deeds. In fact they barely even apologised, more like they just decided to move on from their hatred.

Actually enjoyed the first half of the drama more, it was more thrilling and unique. Even if the ML was very toxic and obsessive, I think that’s what drew the audience in. Especially the crazy plot and those damn annoying evil characters! Towards the end, it used a little typical c drama ending style.

Although I did like the ML’s mum’s character development!

It is actually scary how easy it is in dramas to change someone’s medication and make it seem as though they died because of old age illness 0_o like seriously changing the doctor, isolating the person from his family, that’s just code for someone has successfully manipulated you into trusting them and now u have falled in their trap.

Just an observation, but I’ve noticed you speak quite formally and sound very well educated on various topics. I can tell that you have done your research and you also reference all your sources. You sound like true academic ahha. I don’t think many of us on this forum are at that level when speaking about dramas lol xD

Yeah it’s her, the one from meteor garden 2018. I think it’s the shape of her eyes and nose and hair style. I just think they have similar facial expressions when acting sometimes. Not many Chinese actresses have this look and facial features. In fact, FL of this drama looks a little Korean.

The scariest villains are the one who pretend to be all nice and gentlemen aka Su Juan.

Also I feel like FL has similar features to the actress Su Qian

What I don’t understand is why the ML didn’t just go in the car with the FL and drive off? Like he could of got in the car, locked the car, and then climb from the passenger seat to the driver seat and then VROOM VROOM lol
