Actually enjoyed the first half of the drama more, it was more thrilling and unique. Even if the ML was very toxic and obsessive, I think that’s what drew the audience in. Especially the crazy plot and those damn annoying evil characters! Towards the end, it used a little typical c drama ending style.
Although I did like the ML’s mum’s character development!
It is actually scary how easy it is in dramas to change someone’s medication and make it seem as though they died because of old age illness 0_o like seriously changing the doctor, isolating the person from his family, that’s just code for someone has successfully manipulated you into trusting them and now u have falled in their trap.

Yeah it’s her, the one from meteor garden 2018. I think it’s the shape of her eyes and nose and hair style. I just think they have similar facial expressions when acting sometimes. Not many Chinese actresses have this look and facial features. In fact, FL of this drama looks a little Korean.

Yeah I know what know u mean, they actually all had 5 minute to leave at the beginning. But I guess at that point ML thought that since his hands were now given Xiu Rong’s full authority, he could easily stop the bombs from exploding . But then unfortunately the system went haywire and required his hands there permanently.

I’m actually a little confused how they mixed up the actual baby and replica? I didn’t rlly understand the Chinese at that bit. Somth about they accidentally inserted the genes into the real Xixi instead of the replica and because they put a marking on Xixi, they kept using the replica in the experiments thinking it was the real Xixi?
So basically the real Xixi (An Yue) had a 50% chance of developing cancer so the dad tried to make replicas? Somehow the babies got mixed and because of the way he kept trynna protect fake Xixi by taking her to regular check ups and protecting her from the outside world, she ended up developing with cancer whereas the real Xixi (An Yue) stayed healthy?

I have a feeling that they r not actually twins, as the journalist guy suggested at the end of ep 12. Definitely gonna get a lot more complicated with the possibility of An Yue being a clone.

I just realised that the song name is actually written in Chinese during the intro of the song and also in the caption of the YouTube video. It’s called “心中微微吶喊的顫抖” - however that’s still the English version. Interesting, I couldn’t find the Chinese version of the song tho. Lemme know if you find it!
