This drama should have released an express package much earlier such as half way thru the drama instead of the last few episodes. Esp when this drama decided to only release one ep a day. Cause by the time u reach half way thru the drama, the leads have gotten together already and after looking at the airring calendar/trailer, most ppl already know there’s an upcoming break up. And has been anticipating the schemes of the SFL and FL’s family, at that point viewers start to become unmotivated to continue watching esp if they r just waiting for a break up to happen. Yeah maybe they will pick it back up towards the end when the break up is over, but then the MDL thread has already been overloaded with negative comments, it’s honestly gotten to a point that even now that all the episodes are out now, ppl are just gonna permanently drop it. If they put the express package early, ppl could have binged it watched it to the happy ending instead of now slowly watching their misunderstanding get worse and them getting schemed.

I recommend ppl watch My Boss instead, I like these themes where the ML supports the growth of the FL’s career.

Just finished ep 25, and I’m so confused by what just happened. But at least everything worked out.

Actually the ML in this drama has been in quite a few full length dramas. I first watched him in Fake Princess

C dramas have this troupe all time which misleads the audience. And besides like I said before, even the ML can clearly see that the older brother has another purpose. I’m sure the later episodes will reveal that he had a plan up his sleeves to settle the matter without informing the FL.

I don’t like the SML either however, It’s very clear from the episode that he is only pretending to to go along with the second uncle’s plan for now. So he’s absolutely not the villain here.

no I don’t think SML actually joined hands with the second uncle, as suggested by the ML, its most likely that the second uncle doesn’t know who the sister is yet for certain and the mysterious older brother( he doesn’t know it’s the SML yet), is mostly likely pretending to partner up with the second uncle for some purpose. This is what ML told SFL and I also agree that the SML has a plan himself and is not gonna betray the FL.

I have seen clips of him speaking canto and his accent and pronunciation is very spot on. It even sounds like a Hong Kong accent (even tho he is from Guang Dong), he could definitely pass off in tvb canto dramas.

Oh no SFL is becoming evil after recovering her memories

I actually noticed this earlier, there were a few hints like when ML first met SML at the cafe, after the ML leaves, the SML mutters “just like how you stole my father’s love.” Or when the SML talked about how his mother always spoke about how his father was a designer who had heaps of houses, that’s how the SML got the apartment he lives in now.


I just wasn’t sure if Lu Si Ya was adopted too. But now the new ep, does clarify that that she should be the biological child.

Though I am very interested to know why Lu Si Ya stayed with the father while the SML was abandoned.

Hmm but I think the SML and SFL are actually biological siblings. I believe SML and his mum was abandoned by his father and then the father later adopted the ML.

Ah I’m watching it raw, im not sure how the machine translation worded it on the site your watching it from, but from my understanding of Chinese, basically what I wrote above is the correct translation. I agree this is a weird route to take considering the character of the sister rn. But I think even when her memories come back, she will no longer have these feelings. Cos the past is in the past and she has grown up now. So I don’t think it will cause any problems for for the leads or be a big part of the plot.

Though I’m quite interested in when her and the SML identities finally get revealed.

The scene with the doctor - she asks the doctor what he thinks about the past her and asks exactly what feelings did she used to have towards the ML and she doesn’t understand why she feels nervous when she saw him care for a colleague. I feel like this indicating that she may have liked him when she was younger but kept it to herself.

I just finished ep 12, I think the sister had feelings for the ML when she was younger but she has since forgotten these feelings due to amnesia. I do believe she is a good person tho.

I don’t think ur entirely wrong, while the sister is a kind person but it appears that in the most recent ep 12, it implies that the younger Si Ya did like the ML but the current Si Ya has lost her memory and most likely forgot about her feelings. Thats just what I inferred from the doctor scene.

Great so now the FL thinks that the ML killed the uncle on purpose and the ML decided to hide from her that she is poisoned. Cue in marriage with evil SFL to saved FL but the ML won’t tell FL the truth. Next thing you know, the FL will probs leave and it will turn out she is pregnant. I can’t handle this stress🥲🥲

Guys whenever a character in a historical drama gets amnesia, it’s okay we can just whack them in the head again and they will recover LOL.

Also it was funny seeing the film crew being apart of the ending, not even after the credits but literally in the story.

Have a feeling the empress could be the culprit maybe? Thats why she was trying to set the ML up with the Xu Lady to frame him and his mother that they want to gain military power. The empress appeared to not care about her nephew Xu Wei but secretly, saved him from being executed.

Also feel like the crown prince plays a role bc as his appearance was random and he seemed like he was pretending to care about the Shen Minister.
