I'm totally trashing the CGI and budget but their chemistry plus Aranya arc still beats most of the fantasy dramas I've seen so far, it has the quality to make me invest into the characters despite the cheap production, and given the fact me and many other people are going back for a re-watch means they've got some important things right.

p.s. I wish they would make a mini series for Shen Yu and Aranya, I want to see Aranya happy.

I am the same, waiting for LLtG is giving me anxiety at this point and I'm filling my heart with DongHua and XiaoBai moments, their chemistry is really beautiful.

p.s. I also keep going back to romance of the tiger and rose :D

While waiting for my favorite dramas I went back to this. I love the chemistry between them and Raba is just beyond lovely to watch. One of the few dramas I find joyful enough to re-watch, although this time I skipped the whole fox arc and plus everything related to Ji Heng, although her life is pitiful to some point and really she has done no evil, I just find her character frustrating to watch.

It is pretty but that's about it, even though I've read the books, seen the drama, I could not follow the movie. It was beyond incomplete, rushed and choppy. It always makes me wonder how people can botch something so perfectly fine. Such a wasted opportunity considering the past works of the actors.

Each to its own I guess, I find their interactions reasonable hence their chemistry is on point. Sure, there are no visible sparks between the actors but they look comfortable enough which is still miles better than most of the dramas of this genre.

This has become quickly one of my favs, not much is happening so far but scenes are fun and the chemistry is on point :)

This drama is killing me softly, a lot of things are happing yet after each episode I'm left hollow. Shao Shang and Buyi's interactions are so scarce yet so freaking precious that it is giving me anxiety at this point. They are so cute that I want to keep both of them inside of my pocket.

Minwoo is just such a realistic character that it makes me mad. Actor is really doing a stellar job at making the viewers hate the character. We need more people like Joon Ho, Myung Seok, Soo Yeon and Geurami but world is full of Minwoos.

Yes, I meant Yan Dan. I haven't read the whole novel but it looks like Ying Yuan was in the center for that one too, Yumo was the supportive 2dn lead type of a guy yet Yan Dan actually opted for him in the end. So, I don't think ending with Yumo is totally off the table.

I wonder who'll she end up with, I've just read the novel ending and Ying Yuan is definitely the 2nd lead but we shall see.

I can't believe how good this is, despite the fact autism is such tricky subject, this drama handles the good and bad without adding burden to the viewer. I am made aware of a social problem whilst not being coerced into feeling a certain way. Also all of the characters are so vividly portrayed that there is not a single scene that bores me.

Love is not love regardless of the way you express it. A stalker can claim he/she loves someone whilst it would be complete torture to the victim. Familial love can be toxic too. I enjoy a complex character and Yuan Yi is one of them yet I also find her really hateful.

Yuan Yi deemed her daughter as the worst possible candidate for marriage to the whole world, tarnishing the family name by default. In the future there is no possible way for Shaoshang to marry into any respectable family to speak of, which would also effect other women's marriage prospects in the Cheng family. I don't think she actually thinks the big picture at all. She is blinded by her own pride to teach her own child properly and blames a clueless 15 years old for her own faults. She believes that Shaoshang's misdemeanor would bring more shame and trouble to the family when it is her own mouth that ruins every possible retreat route be it for Shaoshang or Cheng family. Yuan Yi is stubborn, prideful, self-justified and firm yet those are the very same characteristics she hates when it comes to Shaoshang. Hence even if Yuan Yi loves Shaoshang it is still the cheapest way of loving someone.

Yuan Yi gets the cookie for the worst mother character I've ever seen, she is ridiculous. She constantly degrades Shaoshang in front of everybody and acts like she is doing that for Shaoshang's benefit. What a bullsh*t. If Yuan Yi gets any redemption I'll be mad. She does not deserve a f*ck. All ever she does is running her cheap mouth around without any tangible means to improve Shaoshang's education level. In a metaphorical sense, Yuan Yi keeps hitting Shaoshang when she is down and expects her to get up and fly like a majestic swan, at this point I want to beat some sense into Yuan Yi until she sees the light :)
