I'm trying to save the episodes for binge watching but this comment section is testing my patience. I need my fix of LLtG yet I don't want to leave my self all high and dry after going through my pile.
p.s. I currently re-watching all my favorite dramas to preserve against the itch, anyone else?
It has been a long while since I've seen such a well fleshed characters on a Chinese modern mini-series. I went in for fluffy stress free romance drama and left with puffy eyes and a lasting bittersweet feeling on my chest. I cried my heart out whenever Lin family came together, a parent always hopes the best for his/her child, yet those feelings are often hidden beneath the mundane everyday life, cut short with harsh well intended naggings... Only in front of farewells we have the courage to speak, only after it's too late we realize.
I knew Yang Zi was a competent actress therefor I had some degree of trust before going in for this drama but truthfully I wasn't expecting much from their chemistry yet they totally blew me away, that nose nudging thing that Xiao Zhan did gave a whole new dimension of closeness for on screen pairs. I shied away from the The Untamed due to its immense popularity, plus BL is not a genre I usually go for, so I had no idea about Xiao Zhan's acting prowess but now I'm totally in for his future works.
p.s. There is this one scene where Gu Wei runs away due to some set backs in his work and Lin Zhi Xiao sorts him out, it was beyond amazing, every word she said in that scene felt like a slap to my face and a punch to my guts, I applaud the writer for such well articulated words and Yang Zi for performing the scene with such a resoluteness.
Came here to remind everyone "SIFENG!!!!", I adore this drama but her screams shall forever haunt me, in a good way, it still cracks me whenever I think about it.
I am re-watching this and also "Eternal Love" while waiting impatiently for new epi of "Love Like the Galaxy"…
I was waiting for that drama for ever and after watching first 10 episodes I've decided to hold that one off until it is completed, it is beyond addictive and totally deserves a binge watching session :D
I've never got around to watch last 13 episodes, but this was a really well made drama, characters and their interactions were top notch, I wish I had the patience to see through this.
TLB , although fictional, is based on real historical events and persons. Ashina are not a tribe, but the royal…
umm, calm down, I'm not sure if you are serious or trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill. History books are sure can be misleading and inaccurate but given the fact that many official channels provide the information I've mentioned I would welcome your references other than a twitter thread. Give me book chapters and refences to support your claim, I'll make sure to inform myself.
p.s. I see no honor or insult for carrying a blood-line, it is us who makes the present.
I'm rewatching this and um, I'm not sure if my expectations for drama has become high or what, but I feel like…
I'm totally trashing the CGI and budget but their chemistry plus Aranya arc still beats most of the fantasy dramas I've seen so far, it has the quality to make me invest into the characters despite the cheap production, and given the fact me and many other people are going back for a re-watch means they've got some important things right.
p.s. I wish they would make a mini series for Shen Yu and Aranya, I want to see Aranya happy.

I am the same, waiting for LLtG is giving me anxiety at this point and I'm filling my heart with DongHua and XiaoBai moments, their chemistry is really beautiful.
p.s. I also keep going back to romance of the tiger and rose :D
While waiting for my favorite dramas I went back to this. I love the chemistry between them and Raba is just beyond lovely to watch. One of the few dramas I find joyful enough to re-watch, although this time I skipped the whole fox arc and plus everything related to Ji Heng, although her life is pitiful to some point and really she has done no evil, I just find her character frustrating to watch.
It is pretty but that's about it, even though I've read the books, seen the drama, I could not follow the movie. It was beyond incomplete, rushed and choppy. It always makes me wonder how people can botch something so perfectly fine. Such a wasted opportunity considering the past works of the actors.
i love them but..as far as 10 episodes and i don't really feel much is going on with their chemistry sadly i thought…
Each to its own I guess, I find their interactions reasonable hence their chemistry is on point. Sure, there are no visible sparks between the actors but they look comfortable enough which is still miles better than most of the dramas of this genre.
This drama is killing me softly, a lot of things are happing yet after each episode I'm left hollow. Shao Shang and Buyi's interactions are so scarce yet so freaking precious that it is giving me anxiety at this point. They are so cute that I want to keep both of them inside of my pocket.
Minwoo is just such a realistic character that it makes me mad. Actor is really doing a stellar job at making the viewers hate the character. We need more people like Joon Ho, Myung Seok, Soo Yeon and Geurami but world is full of Minwoos.
