I'm definitely with you on this one. I think the other three are perfectly cast, but AHP has always played the…
Age aside and aesthetics wise Rowoon, Lee Soo Hyuk or Park Hyung Sik would be a much better pick. But I like the current cast as it is, since they've played around the plot a bit I enjoy the cast's chemistry to go along with it.
I was going through my lists and suddenly I've remembered how amazing LSH was in this, if you're not interested in this drama after seeing the low score(which imo is deservedly so) I strongly advise to google Gwi, that has to reel you in. Truthfully if I were to watch this again I'd just skip to scenes of Gwi, since he really is the best part of this messy plot.
This is one of those dramas with no substance and filled with msg but I do enjoy an instant ramen now and then, a cliché done right has always a place in my stress relieving re-watch list. And to be honest, to get a cliché right you need 2 things, a sizzling chemistry accompanied with the right amount of humor/comedic relief, and this drama nails them both.
I can't believe how wonderfully cliché this is, I've read the webtoon a while ago and to be true I wasn't expecting this good of an adaptation, it has a different approach from the webtoon yet it still manages to capture the fundamental essence of the characters. This drama is totally a stress reliever, I love it <3
I'm not trying to hate or anything but did Ahn Hyo Seop had procedure done to his face recently, cause he looks eerily different yet I can't pinpoint exactly. If anyone knows I'd appreciate the info.
I love all the tension about the sports and their character growth is such a treat to watch but... I'm beyond curious about HeeDo's husband. It is obvious that Yi Jin isn't but at the same time I kind of hope for twist whilst knowing that it won't happen.
maybe this is a hot take but personally, the amount of intense hate over yurim's character is weird to me? like…
Yes YuRim is nice and all that but at the same time her character such a Mary Sue for me, she is a poor, hardworking, enduring, nice, pretty and successful character and she is an angel... to everyone besides Hee Do, simply her because of inferiority complex towards her. Which is realistic btw, but it doesn't make her petty behavior any less dislikable.
I do understand YuRim yet my heart goes to a character like Hee Do(who is also another Mary Sue) who is actually firm and honest about her standing, where ever she is. YuRim is no villain but she sure makes it hard for me to root for her.
I don't think I'll be able to get over this drama and there is only a handful of dramas I'd put to that list. p.s. Epilogue of 11th episode was simply heartbreakingly beautiful.
And it's more of a reality as I don't think I would love the person same as I loved him/her five years ago. I…
Of course feelings eventually change but what I meant was he'll never love her as much as he did back then, because a mended cloth can never be as strong as it was. You can't expect to keep aging a wine once you opened the bottle it has to rot if not drunk.
My ship is no longer for the YeonSu/Choi Ung, from now on I ship YeonSu with YeonSu, my heart just can't stand her tears, I freaking cried a river along with her on 10th ep, Choi Ung no longer loves her like he used to and frankly I don't think he will ever again, it is a missed boat.
same lmao i relate a lot to Yeonsoo in spiritual level that seeing her gets hurt also break my heart 😂
If I were Yeonsu I'd be long gone from Choi Woong's life, he said some pretty harsh words so far(after meeting again) and I'd be devastated to hear them from someone I still had feelings for, I'd convince myself that I was very much hated and rightly so, feel depressed for a day sitting in a corner thinking how I've missed the person I loved and then completely erase everything from my mind, act like nothing happened(which is yeonsu is also proficient at) for the rest of my life.
When I look at this drama from plot wise there is nothing special about it but the execution is brilliant, such a strong way of storytelling can make any topic interesting, also the acting prowess of the cast needs no explanation. I can only pray that my ship sails for good, I'm so attached to characters that it's ridiculous, every time YeonSu makes that lonely expression my heart freaking breaks to million pieces.
