I'm a hardcore MXTX fan and I can't relate to any of the hate!
Despite what everyone says, I have only had positive encounters in cql/mdzs circles. There have been a few bad apples here and there (who were immediately blocked! lol) but overall people are pretty tame compared to some seriously scary fandoms out there. Also as far as I know, a lot of the fans have read 2ha too or plan to and they all liked it. If the haters are also actor shippers then...I've already shared my opinion about the mentality surrounding that so I won't repeat it, just to say that I won't be surprised if that part of a fandom bring toxicity and delusions into the fandom. It's best to ignore the angry mob. Here, we focus on crying for a release date and loving the book. It's best not to bring childish animosity into the main discourse. (By discourse, I mean "The Conversation"!)
Couldn't agree more... I am a critical person I can't be anything else. I don't deserve to be cyber bullied for…
Exactly! It's like you can only love something, never think it’s just ok. I don’t know, even if someone leaves an upset post under a show, I try to see if their point is maybe valid. Heaven knows I have been driven to fury by some shows too! It's not a personal most of the time, it's just an opinion about a show!

Same here! Even if I enjoy a work, I still like to make comments about what seems illogical or silly to me. Sometimes in an endearing way. It's not my fault some people don't get that.

If you have extra tears to spare, check out The Bond. It's very good and SO SAD!
I'm glad this helped you. :)
I don't care about Word of God but it's nice to think that she thinks of it that way too!
