That ending was weak! Story sort of dragged with the misunderstandings back and forth. Honestly, Niyue was a weak antagonist; I wished it was some one else instead of this crazy chick. I loved everything else! ML was a great find; I'll rewatch just for him 😂.
I'm loving this so far and it's nicely paced. The ML and FL are both handsome and pretty; I like that they also have this natural chemistry with eachother even with those steamy scenes. Anyways, can't keep my eyes off of ML, he's gorgeous! So happy to have discovered Zhengjie through this drama; definitely look forward to more projects from him. Also, Zhengjie reminds me of Luo Yun Xi and Chen Zhe Yuan while FL resembles Xing Fei at times.
I felt like this drama had potentials at the beginning, but it sort of fell flat and draggy afterwards. It was draggy because ML kept testing FL over and over and over and over again, and I'm just like hurry up, we get it FL ain't gonna get revealed because she's THAT good *sarcastic LOL. Flat because there were no sweet moments between the leads after the face swap since FL was constantly scared of ML and I don't blame her.
One big issue I had with this drama. They didn't even show why FL should forgive ML?...Besides the slow reveal as to why ML did what he did to her, but still come on! The drama should have shown ML groveling or doing whatever he could to get FL's forgiveness after he found out who she was because he did love her despite what he did and sort of borderline obsessed with her, which the drama tried to tone that down.
Also, I'm supposed to believe that ML was JUST okay with the new face?...He never once asked FL what happened to her face? Does FL miss the old face or does he miss the old face? Now, that I think about it, I don't even think that they had a kiss scene together because I don't remember seeing one LOL.
Very rarely, I hardly feel for the 2nd ML because I always feel like they pine after someone they can't have. Here, they did a wonderful job on the 2nd ML so he's going under as one of my selfless 2nd leads. I felt sad for him because he was genuinely nice to the FL and came to really like her. Plus, he actually had a backstory which made a nice twist as to why he constructed FL's face like that.
This drama had a HE ending from the looks of it, but I didn't feel satisfy. Idk if I'll ever rewatch this mini drama again, once was enough.
There's some scenes I saw floating around on social media that seems to be from SoL but wasn't in it. I wonder…
I think they were planning to make a second season, but decided not to. I mean I still hope they do a season 2. I did see a another scene for the ending scene where FL turns around and the camera zooms out and you see the ML who was the one that called out her name.
So same leads from love nd loyalty series nd here also fl married to someone else 🙆
No, FL didn't marry anyone else, but falls in love with the 2nd ML before realizing how much the ML had loved and done so much for her. ML was cute and mischievous. He's kind of like the second lead in the romance department, but is the actual ML 😄.
All the hate watchers and complainers convinced me to start it early!!
LOL, they're not haters, but spitting facts about the show. Usually, you get several out of a bunch that don't like it and that's ok because the show might not be everyone's cup of tea, but here there's more than just several so it's actually telling that something is up.
Omgee, I might sound like a broken record, but I'm trying so hard to push through this drama for LJW and the FL is written so pointlessly and acted so bland and emotionless by Su Zu.
Don't come at me, but why does the ML have to find justice for his older brother? I just can't see the logic behind it. That loser king sent ML to Qing, had the audacity to be wary of ML when he came back, screw him over countless times, tried to kill him, and didn't even pass the throne to him or at least ask him to be regent until the son is old enough. All in all, their brotherhood was weak especially coming from that worthless king so I see no point why he deserves ML's loyalty. I don't care if other people were poisoning the late king's mind because he was weak himself vwhich is why other people's words got to him.
