The last clip: Idk where it's from. I assumed it's from this drama since her outfit and hair accessories looks similar to her other empress' clothes. Even Li Fei says that famous line, "You can only be mine". Now that you said it, she does look like Yang Chaoyue in this scene.

Agree with everything you said. Yuan did fight for everything he believed in and died with no regrets. I feel sad for Suyan, she died with regrets. She was always putting everyone else first before Yuan and her and in the end brought him to his death. She could never make up to him in this life. Sighs...

Omgash yeah! I think mini dramas are so fun and it's a whole new world! I think of them as movies instead of mini dramas. Just because some are bad doesn't mean that others aren't good. I used to hate the shorter durations for the mini dramas and I have to admit there are choppy scenes or the story may not flow well, but I always go with low expectations and be surprised. Like when I watch it, I pretty much turn off my anticipation or expectation that it's super good since they are usually with a lower budget or can be choppy. I like watching mini dramas when I'm tired of the long dramas or have nothing else to watch.

I've seen Maid's Revenge too but think Bride's Revenge was so much better, just don't expect a hot ML with sizzling romance even though it has the same ML and SML, but you get a smarter FL.

A Familiar Stranger is good! You definitely need to venture into the mini dramas' land.

There's a lot and I'm still adding to this list (like Bee_Bee said, I've enjoyed my fair share of Li Fei's mini dramas). Edit: Okay, I just finished Governor's Secret Love and it's pretty good too with a satisfying ending. I took a while to finish this because I was preoccupy with this drama instead LOL.

I watch the current eps on youtube but with no eng subs. As of now, ep 20 is not released yet.

I love it when he plays these morally grey and passionate complex roles! Like you said he's improved alot. I think it helps that his Yuwen Yuan character needed alot of emotion ranges and he was able to deliver that. Plus, he was as important as the FL Suyan so he had a good amount of screen time and not just there to show up when FL needs help.

Me too! I don't know how to feel. Sighs, I feel like they should have started this drama with the past first, but don't show the viewers that Yingren has a toxic crush on Suyan.

I hate it when production do specials like that. Might as well conclude it with another episode. I did see some other clips too but Idk how true it is because the production likes to cut these scenes out. I did see the clip of him recutting his wounds open, one where she's in the tub with him (could be the past), and another one where she looks to be in her empress clothes with her hair pinned up and he tells her that she can only be his.

If that is the ending, it was so tragic. Everyone just literally died. Even Cheng'er will have to fight for the throne in the future and you don't even know if he'll be successful.

Omgad, they made the king so psychotic like he's crazy obsessed that I'm mad. Ughh...like FL and ML's 5 years wasted and for what? I prefer the novel's characterization of the king at this point because in the drama, his reason is pointless. You had her for 5 years and you didn't do anything?...

Ep 17 was really sad though 😭. I was in tears 😭. Idk why they sounded so echoey at the beginning like a dream sequence.

Okay, I know ep 19 was featuring the past but how can they be soooo freaken affordable! 🥰😍

He does look better in traditional clothes tbh. He looks older and he's able to portray like he lives in that era. For modern, he still has a baby face so maybe wait for him to hit his 30s when he looks more mature. He could pass as a high school or college student and I can see him playing those dramas, but I've grown out of those teenage romance so it'll be a pass for me 😆.

She is! She's more innocent, poised, and tamed.

😂 I wish Li Fei could look at me the same way, although, I'd blush like no tomorrow 😍. I don't think I could stare at his eyes for long.

I haven't watched his other lives so I'm actually not too sure. I see that sometimes they both are reserved towards eachother and conscious, but they also try to tease eachother. Like you also said, they've worked on a lot of projects together so I'm assuming they should be close to a certain degree.

I feel like in Seal of Love, JJ was able to naturally cry, but I do like that her character in here she's able to present it differently then as Fusheng.

He is. I like how he's playful bts and then can switch to Yuwen Yuan's persona.

That live had so many cute moments between them. Li Fei was so cute and flirty 😂. I also liked the part where he faced her and he called her sweetly by her name Jia Jia 😊. Ahhh...that's why he called her Jie Jie in the live.

They are cute! Agree, she looks better with minimal makeup. I didn't like her dramatic makeup as the demon in Seal of Love - I believe they also did a natural look for her as a demon but somehow decided to go with the bolder makeup and I'm like why?! 😂

Also, I noticed that both went to the same event but didn't post photos of eachother, but posted pics with that other actress I believe in the silver dress. Then I noticed the blacked out photo posted by Jia Jia and thought it was her boyfriend and then I realized it was Li Fei 😂🤣.
