LOL I just saw that too. Was in the middle of rewatching ep 1 with subs.

There's a lot of different ethnicities and dialects in China with Mandarin being the native language (and their native language can sound different from Mandarin) thus most actors' voices usually gets professionally dubbed because of that. I think people from Hong Kong like William Chan speaks mainly Cantonese. I believe these actors do also speak in Mandarin when they're acting but it doesn't sound as good or clear enough (for example this drama, Li Fei is speaking Mandarin bts since the dubber's voice matches his mouth movement). When these actors do usually dub themselves, I can't tell whether they sound good or not since it's not my primary language (I did take Mandarin lessons before) but the language is a tonal language with needing good diction.

Oh! Didn't know. I usually don't pay attention to his dubber since his dramas are usually focused on the FL's side of the story but this one 😍 both Li Fei and the dubber stands out.

Wow! The dubber is good then. I'm usually pretty good at deciphering whether it's their real voice or if they were dubbed however I haven't heard enough of Li Fei's real voice to be able to tell. I just remember him having a deeper voice.

So it was voiced by him? Damn, and I love his voice too! I kept thinking if he dubbed himself because he sounds different IRL but the dubbing word for word goes with his mouth so well. Same with FL. Did she dub herself too?

Omgee, I literally can't wait too! But, I usually watch the teasers to get a gist of what the future eps will be about so if it's good then I sort of have to put a hold on myself because ep 14 looks good 😂. And, it's a struggle because we're only getting one ep per day now which is why I'm also holding myself back.

I'm waiting so I can watch ep 11, 12, 13, & 14 all together.

Definitely! He is better now and more natural. 😄I have a soft spot for Jing Yuan since it was my first exposure to Li Fei as an actor. The dying scene had me too 🥲 I want mooore of their backstory! 🥰😍🤗 Oof, he has such a good chemistry with the kid, it's so adorable!

No subs. Usually it takes about at least a month for good subs.

She's really pretty though! Her small nose reminds me of the Whoville's from the Grinch, but that's what makes her cute!

I think it's that plus his previous roles were kind of limited. In here, he has to be restrained yet fierce and expressively has to show what he actually really feels. I'm loving all the softness of him coming from ep 8, 9, & 10. The only other character from him that I really really liked was his character from Seal of Love where he was flirty, cute, and scheming as a demon and then a broken killer as a mortal.

He's really good in here with his expressions like he knows his attractive traits and how to look good with his smirk and deadly attractive stare plus even his manly sitting ho-ho 😄. I agree, he should keep this dubber! I'm glad that he's able to play a character like Yu Wen Yuan 😋. Forgot to mention that I actually really liked Chu Li too 😊. He was the only other person that cared about ML.

Agree! I'm loving that they're keeping the main stuffs that I like. Why deviate so much from the resource when it's already good? I do love that the drama is also adding more in depth backstory between the 2 leads so we at least get to see why they were so in love with eachother. Richard is on 🔥🫠 in here plus with his yummy dubber, and I think it also helps that natural chemistry with the FL since they've previously worked with eachother.
