It's better if you see it for yourself to understand because it has to do with the ML having a rare bond blood called Baishi. If you don't understand Baishi then you won't be able to understand the ending and why it ended the way it did.

I don't think the drama showed much of the history of Beimang yet unless we've got viewers here who has read the novel.

It's an open ending for the main cp; I see it as a hopeful happy ending though. I was more invested in the second cp.

I think the writer/director did not express it clearly. For me, what I got out of it was, if they weren't in love, how could they have had 2 kids together? I can understand that it was due to a filial obligation if they only had a son, but then they had a daughter too. This means that they knew the son got cursed but both were willing to have another child and why is that? Plot service?...or the writer was just trying to pull some cr*p haha. Anyways, Si ho's motherly love and agony for her kids could have had a big hand in making her hate Hwal and it probably diminished any love that she had for him so she spatted out any hate word towards him, but it doesn't mean that they "possibly" (I'm using possibly because I know the writer might just pull something else here) weren't in love before. Vice versa with Hwal, he distant himself not showing any love/affection because of his curse; his son's blindness was probably a wake up call for him and his daughter's death cemented that fact.

He (the son) always wanted his dad's approval so I don't think he hates his dad, but I think Hwal will be disappointed in himself again because it looks like he might push (the son) away yet again.

ML never met her but I think he made her portfolio and didn't have time to give it to her so he asked the brother.

Main point: Sang un has some memories of her past life contradicting her claim of not being bulgasal. Sang un and Eul tae are connected; whenever Eul tae kills Sang un or kills the soul, he feels the pain also.

Now that I have thought about it, former one does make more sense; he probably does not want to become human anymore since he has talked of human betrayals before.
