Lol! Hwal's character was written poorly. What I understood was that he does not interact with others because they were afraid of him. There's a lot of loop holes within the storyline and his character. It's like he cares but then he seems to push people away; an annoying trait I'd say. His mind was only on revenge, but then he always fail to find Bulgasal. I'm surprised he didn't learn anything new after all that failure. Hwal seems to be rich too, but he's more of a lone rider. He should have spent his money on someone who knew how to infiltrate the computer system to track Sang Un instead of that one private investigator.
Writers are doing a horrible job at character development but Ok Eul Tae or maybe just Lee Joon is giving life…
True. As of now, I just want him to be reborn and live out a new life without his past memories. Idk if he wants to be reborn or not. My feelings for his character will depend on how the writer writes off his character. Will he be reedemable or not?...
Bulgasal has the worst previews ever. Whoever's in charge of post-production needs to chill with those major spoilers,…
LOL, so true! Honestly, they didn't need to show the stab or Sang Un and Hwal's reaction. You just need to show Do Yoon's line to have people guessing on the next ep to see who got to him first and then be shock by the fact he was stabbed. I feel like ep 10 dragged, they were going around in circles just to have the climax happen at the very end.

Lee joon is doing great as Eul Tae. I can feel his loneliness, pain, and sincerity like he's torn. If only his dad had given him a chance and loved him, but then we wouldn't even have a bulgasal story lol.
The actors used their real voices. So the voices you hear from them are real, not dubbed by someone else. Which…
Now that you've said it I think I can tell that William's voice is his, but then Xu Kaicheng's voice from the drama sounds so different from his usual voice that I know.
Personally, I don’t really mind Yz playing a fantasy genre again. Even other famous actors like her tend to…
I love fantasy, but I can understand why they don't want her to play fantasy because the stories or the characters are pretty repetive. However, I will take traditional over modern dramas anytime! Plus, this is tong hua so she's pretty originality with her work.
I’m so excited for episode 10… at the same time so afraid that do yoon will die again…. If he’s going…
It is sad, but true in most cases. Many killers are born because they have had a bad childhood experience, lack love, or were abused. Eul Tae did kill and I'm not excusing him of his crimes because I would be fearful if I were in his victim's case, but I can see how his father was the initiator (the cause) of the hate that was growing inside of him; and he took that hate out on his younger brother. And, most killers always go after someone similar to who they hate or someone that reminds them of their wicked past. Since Eul Tae cannot go after his father, he goes after someone weaker to feel strong or empowered.
That was a really good episode! To think that the chain of hate started from the detective, who was such a loving father 600 years ago. I did not see it coming that Sang Un was the original bulgasal all along. Poor Doyoon! I teared up for him when he was begging his father once again, not to leave him and when Hwal finally realizes who Doyoon is. Right from when Hwal met Siho in ep 4, you already know that he can only move on with life and forgive himself was when he gets Siho's and Doyoon's forgiveness.
He stays wise throughout. He's the most insane but sane one lol.
🤣 I'm getting confused with all these chinese names from watching too many dramas. I meant Fang Zhu. I loved their bromance! I didn't mention Tilan because I already knew that she held a special position in his heart.
Love qing niao, so pretty! Lol I’d pair her up as a FL with Ning e mei lmfao. Zhang tian ai and Zhang ruo yun…
Haha! That's what happens when you have too many awesome female characters or if you may call it a harem. You gotta try hard to please everyone.
Oh! You're a sucker for childish romance huh? Makes sense. For me, it depends, but I do like more angst or mature romances that tugs on my heartstrings.

I think it's not just chemistry only, people love her character and her portrayal of the nanggong pu ye which is why they wanted her or qing niao's character to be the lead so that the story could go more in depth with their story and background and/or how their character matches with XFN like bringing out the differences in his character.

😂 It's true though! Although, I loved the king, I thought he was so antagonistic at the beginning that I thought the writer would never be able to redeem him, but eventually you see that he did cared/loved Tian Ming as much as Tian Ming cared/loved him which was just 🥰.
Tbh, imo there's alot of main leads shipper too, you can see from the number of likes as well, it's just HwalSol…
Not necessarily. Giving birth is one of the most painful experience a woman has to endure. If she didn't love Hwal, why would she go through another pregnancy again when they already have a son, their lineage. Plus, this was during historical time so giving birth back then was even riskier so why risk her own life and risk having another cursed child? She "supposedly" married Hwal due to her father or due to filial obligation, but that doesn't mean she has to become a baby maker. Plus, she seems like the type to voice her opinion or say whatever she feels like without bottling them in due to modern references showing her having a temper and argumental, but also softness and care so I doubt she'd be the type to just give Hwal a baby just because they had to.
