So, FL says that go ahead and marry her its fine by me and sml is supposed to beg her and stop her. This is like…
But she doesn't hold a grudge against him for that. She knows that she could have fought for him more, but didn't due to her character. She is not resentful against him, but is not in love anymore either. And doesn't want to enter this relationship again when they clearly didn't work. So while she made a mistake, I wouldn't say she's toxic.
I don't think the fun is over... We saw the preview of the coming episode. They used 2eps to settle the melodrama…
I hope so too! I mean, the first scenes of ep 8 were really fun already. And now they cleared up all misunderstandings about their feelings and the pharma case, and I feel they really have a clean slate now. I just wish that Jae-Yeol gave up already.
Some people mentioned that they don't like the fact that In-ah pushes Ki-Jun away but at the same time wants him to try again and again. And while I understand it, some people wouldn't like a partner like her, but this is what she needs at this point in time. And different people need different things from a relationship. Some people want their partner to assure them of their attractiveness, other want them to come to their basketball matches, other people get really emotional and just want the other person to hear their complains from time to time. If it's not at a toxic level, and if the other party is okay with it, there is nothing wrong with wanting a particular kind of support in a relationship. Of course, I hope that she will not push him away any more. But so far, Ki-Jun is a fighter, so they will make a good match.
It just occured to me, that the sunrise kiss is a callback to the scene between In-ah and Jae-Yeol in ep 6. Back then, she was staring at the dark ocean, and Jae-Yeol pointed that out: "I thought you were looking at the ocean, turns out you were just staring at the dark"
And her reply: "A pricey ocean view is useless at night. Where the sea ends and the sky begins... it's all just dark."
This is a representation of their relationship. They both have darkness in their hearts, and while In-ah can suppress it for a while, and seem like she is doing just fine, it's not manageable for her to support her partner who is doing even worse in the long run. Jae-Yeol was not a bad partner per se, but how long can she be his supporter, while he does not stand up for himself? Both in terms of his career, as well as the marriage. She needs someone like Ki-Jun, who, like the sun early in the morning, will come and make her world shine. And at the same time, he makes sure to let her know, that she doesn't have to hide her feelings and troubles anymore. She depended on herself for so long, and now she can lean on Ki-Jun too. And Ki-Jun is perfectly capable of supporting himself, so he will not need her to put him first all the time.
I think the last two episodes were an interesting dive into the flaws of the characters. We see more of the true…
Beautifully said. To me, the final evidence that In-ah and Jae-Yeol are incompatible was when he said that she is the woman who he'd die alongside. Who says things like this? You should want to live with your loved one... In my opinion, he is deeply depressed and rather than finding happiness within himself, searches for it in In-Ah and her support for him. And she used to give him that support, hiding her own unhappiness deep inside. But she is struggling too, and the one who is breaking this cycle is Ki-Jun, who is confident, in touch with his emotions and knows what he wants. And he is teaching her to face her sadness and love herself. He is making her laugh and she is drawn to him.
Some people say that the ML was overly jealous in ep 8. I don't think so - he knows that for In-ah, professionalism is the most important thing. And for the first time she behaves differently - in a case connected to Jae-Yeol. So Ki-Jun confronts her right away, wanting to clear the misunderstanding asap, but she does not defend herself. So I think Ki-Jun's doubts are justified this episode.
I was so pumped up at the friday dinner plans they made together but then the angst came back -,- I just want flirting and happiness from now on! Finally we'll get to see them all over each other~
I'm so annoyed at all the characters except Kijun. No matter the relationship Inna has with Jaeyeol, she's a person…
I think her reasoning is that JY's brother will be worse for the company than JY, so that's why she is covering for JY. I'm sure that if this money laundering hurt somebody directly, like the James case, she would have come forward with it. But she seems to regret it anyway.
yep I can feel we’ll be getting mid cliche episodes from now onthis whole fighting for the girl trope needs…
I fear the same. The love triangle feels unnecesary at this point, robbing us from precious time between our main leads. I am hoping we'll get back on track with the comedy & sexiness just like we started.
Ok so I'm not a fan of a hospital plot, but then I remember that in Perfect Crown the leads were in hospital 2 times EACH so it could have been worse 🤣
So, everything she did in the beginning was to protect her ex? But then what was with the conversation they had…
They have yet to explain the reason for their breakup. He was probably getting married and wanted her to be the mistress, so she must have felt betrayed.
Ki- Jun fell in love with I-na and lost all sense of self-preservation. Why is he openly antagonizing his boss…
Well, Jae-Yeol was overstepping her boundries a bit too much so I think that's why Ki-Jun was so aggressive. But it was way too much on his part, I agree (tho it was a match, and had Jae-Yeol not been a chaebol, it wouldn't be as bad)
