16 years later, so he’s 31? And she’s 35? I don’t believe that’s the age they’re trying to convey 🤣21…
I hate it tbh. I like the character's age to make sense, both in terms of their looks, as well as their experience and position at work. Don't they have enough actors in Korea to actually do these roles? Or cant they change their story so that these actors that they have can play younger characters? It bugs me to no end, it may be stupid for people, but I just can't stop thinking about it 😭 Like in Love Scout, the ML supposedly got to be a father very early on, when he was in college. And the daughter is 7 when the show begins. But he doesn't look and act 28-30, but 37-40 😭 In the end, I try not to pay attention, but sometimes it's hard, as I don't know what should I expect and how should I judge their actions - like 22 or 32 yo?
I understand wanting to break up, but after 7 years you'd think theyd be better at communicating their issues.…
Facts. Like I can't imagine how ANY relationship would work if you don't communicate what you like/dislike. Is he supposed to be a mind-reader or sth, to know she didn't like football when she clearly enjoyed watching it with him, laughed and cried? I feel SO bad for him, he had no chance to fight for their relationship and amend his mistakes - which weren't so fundamental! She should be an actor not a screenwriter with such background in lying tbh
Guys, pls let me know if there is actually a way to watch this with good EN subtitles in Europe > Kisskh has machine subtitles, they suck and its unwatchable > hitv has better subs but on my TV I can't put it into full screen mode. Is there any other good and reliable way? I'm not looking for a site with a milion popups either. If there is no way, I'd rather just not watch it cause it's a shame to ruin my watching experience.
Honestly 2FL is physically hurting every moment she appears on the screen. I am not saying she is wrong, but she…
Agreed l. If you want to work with him, be professional and don't give him hope! Firstly I thought he was awful to her when she came back, but as the show went on I got so frustrated for him, she comes back over and over, gives him a lot of unwanted advice etc... Like girl, have mercy for him. Not even mentioning how she cut the 1ML off as well. She's plainly awful. And she has no reason for not explaining 2ML why she left him 5 years ago!
I finished not liking any of the 4 main characters and very sad because my favourite character passed away. Jun…
Yeah, I feel like there is a difference between characters being flawed, to make them more human, and straight up unlikeable. And here we got the latter option unfortunately. Even though they has some redeeming qualities, it was not enough to make them likeable.
I just hate how the 2FL came to the bar and bitched to 2ML that he didn't contact ML after his brother's death. Like girl, do you remember that you didn't contact the ML for 5 years and had no idea about his brother's accident? I get that you have issues with your ex, but you broke up with him, let him live his life and make his mistakes. Gosh. I just hate all of them tbh. I see no bond between those three so-called "friends". All of them are just focused on their own struggles, and don't share one meaningful moment. The only healthy relationship here is Mu Bi and Jeong Hu ig. They actually care about each other.
I don’t think this is CWS problem, his emotion on ep6-7 is very much in place. It’s his character that is…
Yes, you might be right, especially that it wasn't only CWS... LJY also played with the same expression (angry at the whole world) until the recording room scene imo. Really unfortunate that they gathered such a great cast here, only for their performances to flop due to, like you said, shallow characters (I'd say that it's the director's fault too, he should guide his actors more...)
I am very disappointed with this one. No wonder people are rooting for the second couple, at least they show some chemistry. The main leads have zero chemistry, and I haven't seen such a bad case of this in kdramas in a long time. I'm not sure whose fault is it, director's, actors'... but I'm very disappointed with Choi Woo Shik over all, he's shown no emotion for most of this drama. Even if his character is hiding his emotions, Kim Jae Wook shows how it should be done. You can see so many emotions in his eyes, compared to CWS... The drama is okayish over all, pretty to look at, not that boring, but has a lot of room for improvement. Ehhh. All dramas I'm looking forward to just turn bland. I was waiting so long for this one... if When Life Gives You Tangerines disappoints me too I dunno what I'll do -,-
The bright point of the drama for me was Cha Woo Min. Whenever he was on screen I was happy. He breathed some…
Just what I wanted to write after finishing ep 5. All the superb actors they gathered for this drama act very one note, gloomy and detached, except for Kim Jae Wook (his eyes tell soo much about his feelings) and Cha Woo Min, who at least has a happier attitude. I get that they all struggle with something, but damn, this is hard to watch and believe that their feelings for each other are blooming.
I see the heavy referencing to OBS, but the starting point is pretty weak - FL being hung up on a guy who ghosted her 5 years ago? In OBS the bad blood between leads made sense cause they dated for a long time before their breakup. But I honestly hardly remember much about my ex from 5 years ago, let alone some guys I knew for a month and they ghosted me...
I agree it's not my idea of a first date unless it is Halloween (which it wasn't)!
Exactly 😅 I thought there might have been some buildup that I missed for that scene (like them doing some kind of research/visiting their friend's haunted house/I dunno haha) but I guess there wasnt
What kind of consequences do you think he should face? He never used any illegal means to achieve his goals, so…
No no, I mean the plot before the one you mentioned - there was a recruitment for a government position, ministry of economy if I remember correctly. He tried to get FL to refer his candidate, and when she refused, he got her nemesis to do it. That's what started the conflict between FL and 2ML's father. Dunno how illegal it was for him tho, if he could be prosecuted or not...
